Most of the people from the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria teach their children their dialects, correct me if I'm wrong but yes see, South south, or even people from middle east and other minority groups they hardly teach their kids their dialect. They will just be speaking English, I used to tell my students "English in school, at home tell your parents no English! Just speak your language to me".

Let's stop telling this lie already! English remains the most economically viable language out there and works wherever you find yourself in this world we live in. Even in China, Russia, Japan, etc. Their students learn English as a second language.

And before you claim that having a thick Nigerian accent abroad is OK, I advise to you realize that the vast majority of misunderstandings that people experience abroad have to do with the difficulty in communicating clearly to those around them.

Now king Solomon according to the Bible was the only man God gave an open cheque book to make a request for him to grant his request.
You could Imagine God approaching you directly and tells you.. To make one request for him to grant your wish, and as we all know from the Bible that God doesn't go back on his words nor his promises.
And of all the things king Solomon could ask for, the king � asked for just Wisdom �����.. Yes he asked for wisdom and Then God granted his wish by making him the wisest king that ever lived.

Now back to my discussion.. Let's all be real here OK.. If God gives you such an opportunity, can u request for wisdom?? Amongst all the things in this world??

The king requested for wisdom when he knows he's gonna die some day and leave all his wealth behind and even the wisdom behind ����..

Them I begin to wonder why choose wisdom when u know ur going to die someday and why didn't he just go for everlasting life?? Or even choose for God to end suffering in the world atleast he would have liberated us and corrected the mistake Adam and eve made ���.

But the king choose wisdom instead ���.
Then I concluded that he wasn't that wise after all that's why he went for what he needed most at that time and wasted a one in a life time opportunity to either make himself a living legend or put an end to the world's suffering.
Remember that God would have honoured any request he made at that time since he can't go back on his promises or his word as God.

Here's hoping that in the last 5 years you have yourself grown in some of that wisdom which you pretend to talk of in this.

Solomon was wise enough to know at that point in time that the only way to obtain eternal life was through complete obedience ans submission to God's Law of Moses as God Himself had instructed all of Israel to do. So, it would have been utterly foolish of him, Solomon, to have asked God to circumvent His own will in guaranteeing Him the very same.

Also, Solomon, at the time he asked YHWH -- God of Israel --- for wisdom, had previously attained Holiness--- through complete obedience and submission to the Law of Moses --- and had been approved Righteous by Him, YHWH. Otherwise, YHWH wouldn't have answered His prayers at all because YHWH only answered the prayers of those among Israel who were previously approved Righteous by Him. And this approval came with the benefit of Eternal Life. So, Solomon had no reason to ask for Eternal Life at the time too.
