PEACE2023: ➜They will continue to confuse you blacks. I believe in God Almighty and Jesus Christ but I don't believe this people. ➜I believe those pastor's in the villages preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ than these pastorpreneurs you are worshipping instead of God You believe in Jesus Christ of Israel who said that only those who have the blood of Jacob coursing through their veins can partake in His Kingdom and Power? Abi, do you believe instead in the version/idol that is peddled by the religion of Christianity? 2. But a vast majority of your village pastors take their scripts from and are sometimes employed by those pastorpreneurs who are their masters and directors. So, how can you claim to be removed from the very fake one's you condemn? |

Even Kumuyi, who only yesterday showed up to inaugurate Trump essentially revealed himself a politician as he has, by his action, all but guaranteed that all of his followers will continue to vote Republican in the U.S. no matter how stewpid the ideas they put forward. |

olisaEze: ➜Christianity is a personal race, not everyone has the same revelation of God. If He says Christ was crucified because of poverty, he isn’t far fetched. 2Cor 8:9, lets us know that Christ was made poor on the cross so that we might be rich. In other words, Christ was crucified because of ur poverty. Opari!! 🤷🏽 Stop deceiving yourself. There is nothing personal about religion since your beliefs are subject to the opinions and whims of your many gods-of-men. 🙄🙄🙄🙄 |

Christianity Etc › Re: Think About It. How Did The Authors Know What Jesus Prayed? by Kobojunkie: 5:45pm On Jan 22, 2025*. Modified: 2:35pm On Jan 23, 2025 |
kppo: ➜The author couldn't have known by "simply asking Jesus Christ of Israel himself what He had prayed about or for" because the bible narrates what followed the solo prayer: Judas came and betrayed Jesus and He (Jesus) was arrested and taken away. The disciples were then scattered. Jesus was then tried and crucified. So there was no time in which the disciples could have inquired about what He (Jesus) had prayed about. According to Gospel records, however, Jesus Christ of Israel had come down at some point during the same night to ask His followers why they would not pray with Him. This was before Judas showed up with the soldiers later on. If we are to assume they never got a chance to speak to him after the arrival of the Roman soldiers, there was at least one window that night during which Jesus Christ of Israel would have been able to relay the information directly to them. |

Hatred has made them to be looking foolish when they talk. It is wrong to conclude that states have different laws. 😐😐😐😐 2. Rather, Same-sex marriage is recognized at the federal level. However, every state is allowed to accept this recognition or not. Two men married in the state of Florida for example remain married in the state of AZ whether AZ recognizes same-sex marriage or not. |

TimeManager: ➜So, they won't require assistance from local police for enforcement?. You think they would just come in kicking down people's doors and arresting them? Technically, it is not the job of local police to enforce national immigration laws in the first place. There is nothing wrong with CPD with its hands full keeping and enforcing the law, saying it will not be a part of the FG's mission. ICE can and should do its job while keeping CPD out of it. Simple! |
Christianity Etc › Re: Think About It. How Did The Authors Know What Jesus Prayed? by Kobojunkie: 5:18pm On Jan 22, 2025 |
kppo: ➜The bible says that in the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus left His disciples at a distance while He (Jesus) went further ahead to pray ALONE. So my question is, if Jesus was ALONE when He prayed, how did the authors of the gospels know what Jesus said? Nobody heard Him (Jesus) while He prayed because they (the disciples) were some distance away and besides the bible says the disciples were asleep. Look at what Jesus Christ of Israel did when asked by His followers to teach them to pray in Matthew 6. He went into detail about what they were to say when they did. The author may have gotten the answer to the question by simply asking Jesus Christ of Israel himself what He had prayed about or for, a prayer likely taken from Isaiah 51 vs 22. |

It is not a useless system when the people, the majority, are allowed to chart the course of their own fate. 🤔 |

Kelklein: ✓ The general population of women averages ratio two to one and it's so in most countries. In Nigeria constitute about 54% of the population according to the 2006 census.. ✓ So what happens to the extra numbers by the time you tag one man to one wife as a must. You think some would deserve to die single.. So, your conclusion is based on the inane idea that all women must be married? Isn't that utterly ridiculous given the facts of reality as we all know it? What is the percentage of people, men and women alike, who never get married for one reason or another? You should start there. |
Family › Re: ‘I Hate Being A Second Wife At My Young Age’- Nigerian Woman Laments by Kobojunkie: 8:17pm On Jan 21, 2025 |
Kelklein: First of.. The op should correct the topic to '..First wife..' ..not second wife. Polygamy isn't about men having multiple women, but to make sure every woman has a husband. ↪And men without means to take care of even one woman shouldn't even dream it. Women deserve better!! That is a ridiculous claim to make regarding polygamy given there isn't any information to prove that the case. 😩😩😩 2. Given that the vast majority of men who dream of it — polygamous men— are men without the means of adequately caring for their many wives and children, it becomes imperative to discourage such practice if not for anything but at least for societal cohesion. |

obedience4: ✓China has executed a man found guilty of killing at least 35 people in a car attack in November, in what is thought to be the deadliest attack in the country for a decade.
Fan Weiqiu, 62, injured dozens more when he drove his car into people exercising outside a stadium in the southern city of Zhuhai.
State media said a second man was executed for a separate attack that came days later. Xu Jiajin, 21, killed eight people in a stabbing spree at his university in the eastern city of Wuxi.
Authorities said Fan was driven by "dissatisfaction" over how his property had been divided following his divorce, while Xu carried out his attack after "failing to obtain his diploma due to poor exam results". Fan was detained at the scene on 11 November, where police said he was found with self-inflicted wounds. 😞😞😞😞😞 |

Christianity Etc › Re: Are People Really Changed When They Claim To Be Born-again? by Kobojunkie: 7:09pm On Jan 19, 2025 |
Nnamdipapa: ↪Now to the crux of the matter: does going to church, being born again, or religion in general lead to any change in life in a positive direction? ↪Are the spiritual encounters we experience in our churches mere emotional manipulations with no tangible positive life changes? ↪This is not only related to this individual alone; I see lots of Bible-touting pastors resort to insults and curses when challenged or countered. I am proud to say I have never been to any church, read the Bible for more than two years now, and will never do so in the future. Believe me when I tell you these people will speak in tongues in the morning and physically fight and curse you in the evening. I am unchurched, and I am well-behaved and more in control of my emotions than over 99% of these people. Are the change of life experiences or being born again a big scam? brb |

Pablo9090: ✓ Good day my fellow Nairalanders!!!, I will be brief and precise to the situation . It all started 19yrs ago, when my father chased my mother away and married another woman , I am the first born and I already have three other siblings , now we are ten , the second wife gave birth to six and she is still pregnant. My dad was financially buoyant to cater for the family because he deals on drugs and due to high demand money flows in but in the last six years things have changed especially when he had problem with Nafdac people , he was banned from selling drugs and he switched to motor parts business which is not as lucrative as drug business. Seeing d situation of things and having known first hand experience of bboth business , I choosed the drug business, since two years now I am doing well but my father usually gives me unnecessary expenses which am not comfortable with , I cater for my younger sisters in school to him it is not enough , he wants me to sponsor my step mum children too citing that am the first born and it is my responsibility , ✓ I am really confused , am yet to start my own family and this man is here giving me headache like as if I was the one that brought my step siblings to this world , please if you are in my shoes what will you do ? Please moderators take it to the front page He chased your mother away, brought in another woman and now demands that you bear that burden in his place? 😞 2. Your confusion likely stems from the fact that you are not ready to accept that your father is literally scamming you. You need to put your foot down otherwise that man is ready to make sure that your are never able to save much for your own family. In the end, these behaviors tend to cycle through to the next generation with you probably burdening your own kids in similar way and they theirs. 🤔 |
