At least they're not throwing them out on the streets to be used in baby factories or sold like mere chattels to be used as sex slaves in North Africa and Europe. The yeye Minister in order to form woke and human rights champion refused to investigate issues properly before dabbling into them. How many baby factories has she closed down, how many (ex) prostitutes and Libyan returnees has she rehabilitated, how many orphanages or women empowerment centres has she established or funded? None. But marriage is her problem. Hypocrites. So, forced marriage even if to terrorists is better than sex slavery and prostitution?

And it doesn't take a rocket scientist's brain to figure out that none of that has anything to do with Jesus Christ or God but delusions/delirium. ErnestNc: ■ The whole bible or history before the arrival of Jesus, which Includes the law , taught men and schooled them on how to live a life that pleased God . This program was a temporal one and a shadow of what is to come , on waiting for the arrival of the one who would then teach men the true and final way that would please God . ■ The ways Daniel prayed, Abraham or Aaron sacrificed would no longer be regarded as a methodology of approaching God, because the messiah is the one who would teach men what to do, to approach God. This is the whole essence of the bible ; the salvation through Christ . Christ came and taught us how to pray, he taught that he was the sacrifice , the bread of life and only true way to God . This never invalidated the scriptures but clearly interpreted all the symbolism it portrayed. Any method you're applying on how to approach God or methods from other sources that Jesus nor the apostles approved of, neither did they instruct, is a doctrine of devils . ■ The Catholic practice which involves bowing and praying to Mary, or using rosaries as a medium for prayer , my friend , is a foundation of demonic practice as none of the apostles ever did such , and the catholic church home of apostates. ■ I'm in no way abusing the catholic faith , but it is blasphemous to ever say that the catholic faith was the foundation for the Christian faith that Jesus and his apostles passed on , as the margin in the differences are too wide. Catholism is an alien practice , unknown or untraceable to Christ and true christians. 1. There was and is absolutely nothing temporal about the Old Law of Moses which happens to be the everlasting Constitutional Law of God's Nation of Isreal in the Land of Canaan. 24 You must remember this command. This law is for you and your descendants forever. 25 You must remember to do this even when you go to the land the Lord is giving you. - Exodus 12 vs 24 - 25 2. Jesus Christ never taught that He was a sacrifice! Jesus Christ is no interpretation to symbolism. He was instead God's New agreement promised by God of Israel to the House of Jacob. 3. By the way, Jesus Christ is famously known to have distanced Himself from the religious leaders of His time, along with their doctrines — Jesus Christ was against Religion. The religion of Christianity that you know today was modeled after the very same Religion that Jesus Christ disavowed; the entirety of what you know as Christianity today was built on a foundation that was laid down by the very Catholic church you abhor. So? 4. Religion, according to Jesus Christ, is antiChrist - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14 & Mark 7 vs 1 - 13. So, it ain't about casting down some denominations or sects while you lift up others. |

I will make myself known to them.” 22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “Lord, how will you make yourself known to us, but not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered, “All who love me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them. My Father and I will come to them and live with them. 24 But anyone who does not love me does not obey my teaching. This teaching that you hear is not really mine. It is from my Father who sent me. - John 14 vs 15 - 24 ... 10 I have obeyed my Father’s commands, and he continues to love me. BeigJawnson: ■ For God so loved the world, not the Jews only that He sent His only begotten Son. Where else can we go other than the OT to rightly understand sacred space and the temple? ■ Is there a more explicit declaration of YHWH’s incomparability than Isaiah 40, or a more succinct expression of substitutionary atonement than Isaiah 53? ■ Where should we go to know what Paul means by “psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs” (Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16)? Finally, the NT worldview and teachings are built on the framework supplied in the OT. Your first statement is wrong but more importantly let's not deviate in any manner from the main issue here which is that you lifted a verse from a passage that was meant instead as a warning to the nation of Judah back almost 2600 years ago. And there is everything wrong with that. 2. Please stop deviating abeg! You claim to be a worshipper of Jesus Christ, do you not? So, focus on the Law that is Jesus Christ, and stop trying to dribble around by pretending the Old Law of Moses somehow still applies to you. 3. Jesus Christ never commanded psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs in what is the New Agreement, so of what real value to this here conversation is that information which you point out then? The Old Law and the Prophets are meant as a source of information, yes, but this information should in no way be used to contravene or as some sort of supplement to the New Law, Jesus Christ. That much Jesus Christ made abundantly clear when He said that those who love Him obey His teachings and His commandments — they do not mix or store New Wine in Old wineskin. So, again, Jesus Christ made clear that He, alone, is the good Shepherd — every other shepherd is bad — in the Kingdom of God. Jesus Christ never set up an office of prophets, of shepherds, or even of Teachers/Heads/Authorities. What that means is that everyone who claims to be any such in the Kingdom of God is a liar and a thief. |

BeigJawnson: ■ Okay... I will like to draw you back to the drawing board of this argument... You said Jesus Christ said the religious leaders eg pastors/Shepherds before him and after Him are all thieves... Then what can you say about these verse? Jeremiah 3:15 [15]And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. From this verse we can see that God said He will give the Children of Israel Shepherds according to His own heart. Those shepherds now, can we say they are thieves too? 1. Context is king in understanding the word of God. 6 The Lord spoke to me during the time King Josiah was ruling the nation of Judah. He said, “Jeremiah, you saw the bad things Israel did! You saw how she was unfaithful to me. She was unfaithful to me with every idol on every hill and under every green tree. 7 I said to myself, ‘Israel will come back to me after she has finished doing these evil things.’ But she did not come back to me. And Israel’s unfaithful sister, Judah, saw what she did. 8 Israel was unfaithful, and she knew why I sent her away. Israel knew that I divorced her because she committed the sin of adultery. But that did not make her unfaithful sister afraid. Judah was not afraid. She also went out and acted like a prostitute. 9 Judah did not care that she was acting like a prostitute. So she made her country ‘dirty.’ She committed the sin of adultery by worshiping idols made out of stone and wood. 10 Israel’s unfaithful sister did not come back to me with her whole heart. She only pretended that she came back to me.” This message is from the Lord. 11 The Lord said to me, “Israel was not faithful to me, but she had a better excuse than unfaithful Judah. 12 Jeremiah, look toward the north and speak this message: “‘Come back, you faithless people of Israel.’ This message is from the Lord. ‘I will stop frowning at you. I am full of mercy.’ The Lord says, ‘I will not be angry with you forever. 13 But you must recognize your sin. You turned against the Lord your God. That is your sin. You worshiped the idols of other nations. You worshiped them under every green tree. You did not obey me.’” This message is from the Lord. 14 The Lord says, “You people are unfaithful, but come back to me because I am your master. I will take one person from every city and two people from every family and bring you to Zion. 15 Then I will give you new rulers who will be faithful to me. They will lead you with knowledge and understanding. 16 In those days there will be many of you in the land.” This message is from the Lord. “At that time people will never again say, ‘I remember the days when we had the Box of the Lord’s Agreement.’ They will not even think about the Holy Box anymore. They will not even remember or miss it. They will never make another Holy Box. 17 At that time the city of Jerusalem will be called the ‘Lord’s Throne.’ All nations will come together in the city of Jerusalem to give honor to the name of the Lord. They will not follow their stubborn, evil hearts anymore. 18 In those days the family of Judah will join the family of Israel. They will come together from a land in the north to the land I gave to their ancestors.” - Jeremiah 3 vs 6 - 18 The above passage details God's message and warning to the people of Judah after He had destroyed the nation of Israel in around 720BC and right before God then sent the people of Judah into captivity in the land of Babylon! Everything detailed happened to them as God said it would. And eventually, even after sending them the new shepherds and rulers — Nehemiah, Ezra, etc — the people failed God still. Zion was eventually destroyed by YHWH — God of Israel — about 1900 years ago. My question to you is this. Why do you think a message meant for the people of Judah directly applies to you and your now in some way? |

BeigJawnson: ■ Okay sir.... Then what can we call a church leader? A thief! And one more thing, The "church" described by Paul in 1 Corinthians 14 for instance is instead a reference to a general gathering of the Jewish people — both those who do not believe in Jesus Christ and maybe those who do. You would know this from the details contained in the statements made by Paul regarding the gatherings, particularly his many suggestions regarding prophets and prophecies. 26 So, brothers and sisters, what should you do? When you meet together, one person has a song, another has a teaching, and another has a new truth from God. One person speaks in a different language, and another interprets that language. The purpose of whatever you do should be to help everyone grow stronger in faith. 27 When you meet together, if anyone speaks to the group in a different language, it should be only two or no more than three people who do this. And they should speak one after the other. And someone else should interpret what they say. 28 But if there is no interpreter, then anyone who speaks in a different language should be quiet in the church meeting. They should speak only to themselves and to God. 29 And only two or three prophets should speak. The others should judge what they say. 30 And if a message from God comes to someone who is sitting, the first speaker should be quiet. 31 You can all prophesy one after the other. This way everyone can be taught and encouraged. 32 The spirits of prophets are under the control of the prophets themselves. 33 God is not a God of confusion but a God of peace. This is the rule for all the meetings of God’s people. 34 The women should keep quiet in these church meetings. They are not allowed to speak out but should be under authority, as the Law of Moses says. 35 If there is something they want to know, they should ask their own husbands at home. It is shameful for a woman to speak up like that in the church meeting. 36 God’s teaching did not come from you, and you are not the only ones who have received it. 37 If you think you are a prophet or that you have a spiritual gift, you should understand that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command. 38 If you do not accept this, you will not be accepted. 39 So my brothers and sisters, continue to give your attention to prophesying. And don’t stop anyone from using the gift of speaking in different languages. 40 But everything should be done in a way that is right and orderly. - 1 Corinthians 14 vs 26 - 46 So, if you closely examine what Paul said in the above passage, it becomes clear, that the church He mentioned in this case was not a gathering of believers or followers of Jesus Christ but rather a gathering that consisted of children of Isreal – sinners and non-sinners alike — to whom the Spirit of Prophesy promised by God to all the young men and women in the land at the time had descended upon - Joel 2 vs 28 - 31. In His Gospel, Jesus Christ made clear that He was the last prophet sent by God to the people of Israel. And it is important to note that unlike the God of Israel —YHWH —who declared in His Law that He would send prophets out among His people, Israel, in His Name, Jesus Christ never instituted an office of prophets in the Kingdom of God. This means that all the prophets — including the spirit of prophets proclaimed even in the book of Acts belonged not to the Kingdom of God but to the Old Law of Moses. “After this, I will pour out my Spirit on all kinds of people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will have dreams, and your young men will see visions. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants, both men and women. - Joel 2 vs 28 - 29The spirit of prophecy came upon all young men and women— including those who were already born-again at the time — in the land during the last days as prophesied by Joel and as such there were gatherings where people came together to exchange information on messages revealed to them. Paul stressed that all those in attendance of such meetings ought to honor the Law of Moses during those gatherings because they were concerned with issues of the Old traditions and not the New. |
