jihday: Celestine I want us to give fair assessment to our judgments regarding the trio. Ben Iroha was a solid member of Westerhoff era and did so well.He has below Europe career. He won Afcon and had two WC appearances. What could have been his best tournament was marred with injury and Mike Emenalo step in.He had 50 caps and a goal. Celestine Babayaro remain the best talking of European career. He played for Anderlecht,Chelsea and Newcastle. He played in two WC and was a regular member of eagles in the late 90 to mid 2000 with Afcons appearances. But I will rate his super eagles career average 27 caps and a goal. Taye Taiwo would have been the best Nigeria LB.He started well with Marseilles but his transfer to AC Milan ruined his progression and he never recovered from it.He played in a WC and had Afcon appearances. He had good eagles career with 54 caps and 8 goals. My submission, based on Europe career I gave it to Celestine Babayaro…..On trophy I gave it to Ben Iroha cus he was part of eagles that was ranked 5th in the world…..Ranking Taye Taiwo the best eagles LB would bring debate but If he was part of 2013 Afcon team he would have been adjudged the best cuz having 54 caps with 8 goals showed how solid he was with eagles. I hope to see emerging talent that will break Iroha,Babayaro and Taye records in eagles. |

TheGoodJoe: No. The discussion is which competition is bigger.
I am telling you the U17 is a bigger competition. It is not a strictly Nigeria competition.
The stars it produces shows the class of the competition. Okay U17 is a bigger competition regarding NPFL but not bigger competition comparing to other leagues in Europe,South America,Saudi league even South Africa league? thegoodjoe baba I hail o.

I did not use only one criteria. Tell me world stars from NPFL that are bigger than World stars of the U17. I also used the kind of prizes given to the U17. They get houses in Abuja and more. The issue here is U17 bigger than NPFL? not houses or kind of prizes.Do you say England U17 or U20 WC winning team is bigger than EPL winner, and funny you are bringing European league winners parade as your point. Pls who are the world stars from U17?okay Osimhen,Chuckwueze,Iheanacho,Awoniyi,Nwakalis,Uzoho… NPFL star Amunike gave us Afcon 94 NPFL Amunike scored the winning goal Atlanta 96 NPFL Sunday Mba gave Afcon 2013 NPFL Rashidi Yekini scored Nigeria first WC goal NPFL Ahmed Musa scored 4 WC goals NPFL Richard Owubokiri won Europe highest goal scorer NPFL Enyeama clean sheets record in French league NPFL Finidi,Kanu and Mikel won Champions league NPFL Yekini,Kanu,Amunike and Ikpeba won APOTY. |

TheGoodJoe: The campaign was sponsored against Amunike and the only people that has something to gain from that campaign were those who announced Finidi. To the best of my knowledge, you said you did not know there was a campaign against Amunike. I showed you an example. So I don't know what you want me to do. Call the journalists and bloggers to ask them the list of their sponsors? Pls tell us NFF members who campaigned against Amunike, that’s my question. |

I don't understand. Amunike should keep quiet while the NFF lie and smear his name all over. Amunike has no issues with Finidi and he has likely called him to congratulate him.
But the series of evil propaganda against Amunike was because they knew they were robbing him and Amunike is right to let people know that they were sponsored lies. It is very wrong to keep quiet in such situation. Sincerely I don’t know that NFF members were campaigning against Amunike cuz I never read any in news.Pls give me references.. |

Emmanuel Amunike should have congratulated Finidi George and move on instead of this statements.
I knew it would be difficult getting the job with Eguavoen as head of technical team. After Ghana match Amunike went to press, saying he didn’t know much about the team selection whereas it was he that recommended Nwakali for Afcon 2022 and Eguavoen accepted.
Emma should know more about coaching,it’s a circle job cuz we have seen Stephen Keshi,Austin Eguavoen,Siasia,Oliseh and Finidi now,so he should calm down.He will surely coach the team if he brings his ego down.

I will try my best Chief,Amunike na your secondary school senior so is a must for you to support your old boy…..what goes for Finidi was just the assistant to Peseiro, nothing more.He accepted to be assistant when Amunike said No. Amunike time will surely come but he need to get a club ASAP. |

If the opportunity arises do you think our boys won’t desert Npfl for South Africa Not only on football even as a nation.I have been to South Africa twice and I want to say structurally they are ahead in every sectors,so not a news. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The only advantage Finidi had over Amunike was being assistant coach to Peseiro and if one look at the limited time then technical committee members were right in their decision but I thought Amunike rejected idea of assistant to Peseiro. |

I believe the U17 World Cup is bigger than the NPFL. Also,.coupled with the stars that came from it. You guys always want to call NPFL but don't want Amunike's own mentioned. Also, Amunike was part of the back room staff that delivered the 2013 U17.
Amunike has all Finidi can present and far more. The only thing Finidi has Amunike does not have is NPFL. But Amunike has loads that qualifies him ahead of Finidi.
Finito. U17 WC is not bigger than any division one league….tournament of 15 to 17 years old bigger than men league? Finidi just need to tell us he can do it by qualifying us for WC or else he lose it.I know Amunike time will surely comes but I would like Amunike to be involved with any top NPFL team. |

You don't know Amunike and Finidi George personally to tell us who is corrupt or not. You are just talking with your full chest about something you have no idea about. Amuneke Dey collect developmental fees nau but Finidi I don’t know how far but trust Nigerians they would have unearthed him if he had any illegal dealings. |
