Parizz: At least he is better than moses simon. KC has been our hero in matches we nearly lost. He has a deft left foot to put the in the back of the net. You don't know anything Kelechi Iheanacho than Moses Simon is debating…looking back at Afcon tournaments then it would be purely sentimental to rate KC above Simon Moses |

Subzerooo: Not only Ighalo we need Obafemi Martins, can Ighalo still move his body Missing Osimhen is a big minus and Awoniyi, the duo are only natural CF who are real tormentors but with Boniface,Moffi and Onuachu i don’t see reason why we should be complaining….left for Finidi to utilize the players in camp. |

Philosopher1979: Just a reminder. We need ighaLos finishing in our attack. Those chances moffi and Co misses ighalo will putnit away. He may not be the best attacker but he is our best finisher We should get him un the team now. He has the experience and confidence to convert chances. It took Ighalo few years before he started delivering for eagles and really impressed during Afcon 2019 but the same Ighalo missed that chance against Argentina. |

Silentgroper: i wouldn't say that cause simon is very poor at crossing the ball in a square play scenario .. That's where lookman best him at ..
I'm just saying, if Simon was the at lookman's position against south Africa, he would've gone past the south Africans alot more than lookman did which would have resulted in more goal threat for us .. In short, Simon would've won us penalties against them ..
My point is, Simon would've made a difference in that match... Simon Moses cost us WC qualification against Ghana and it happened in the first leg, just a curling would have done it but hit the ball straight to the goalkeeper….Oh you forgot the same Lookman won us penalty against Ghana in the 2nd leg. |

Parizz: Why must we depend on ndidi despite his shortcomings? Same thing we did to Mikel inspite of his lukewarm style of play that led us to nowhere till he hung his boot. Why do we have to rely on one player most time when there are options in abundance? Mikel won Afcon, reached WC 2nd round and almost won APOTY and tell me the difference between Mikel and Okocha in terms of achievement,in fact Mikel had better football career than JayJay,not disrespecting Okocha but telling us Mikel led eagles to nowhere sound somehow. A fit Ndidi is unplayable based on what we have presently,Onyedika and Onyeka are good options and am seeing Onyedika getting there soon but Ndidi still eagles number one DM if fit. |

Marjoribanks: Nobody rate Olofijana in the Super Eagles jersey! The clubs he played for were average at best. My position still stands-- both Olofijana and Kaita were average at best! No distinct quality one has over the other! I know you have soft spot for him cos he played for Kwara United. He is my guy too but the truth remains, he wasn't exceptional and Nigeria fan base doesn't really fancy him!
Olise led us to our first AFCON in 14 years. Took us to another AFCON final despite suffering from malaria! A mistake by him can be forgiven! My point is Olofinjana vs Kaita, club wise the two are apart….Yes he played for Kwara united and also a very close friend.Did I said he was exceptional or you did not read my line where I said both of them should not be mentioned talking DMs that played for Nigeria, fact I rate Dickson Etuhu than Olofin and Kaita. |

soetanoreoluwa: But Mike still listen to him during the Olympics also don't forget Mike had a lot issues during his youth playing days before he eventual become mature. Dont forget he had issues with mouriho also. And he was benched and axed from the training ground. Though he might be stubborn but he worked so hard.
Don't forget thesame Mikel was the one feeding all the players during the Olympics and also put his career on hold cos of it. I watched the interview and I think if one don't listen very well to Siasia, one would think he was castigating Mikel...... Siasia was talking about Mikel in two ways, young Mikel who refused to honour 2008 Olympic and matured Mikel in 2016 Olympic games. |

Marjoribanks: Seyi and Sani na same same! He cost us 2004 AFCON with his brawn before brain approach against Tunisia! No need for that tackle at all! They are not the same in terms of football IQ... checking their club football careers should tell you that Seyi was better than Kaita..... Yes errors happen in football or do you want to say Oliseh was a bad player cuz of his error against Italy. Olofinjana and Kaita should not be in conversation when we are talking about eagles DMs but I will pick Seyi over Kaita. |

viccy12: Chrostian Obodo was spectacular on the ball. So sleek and beautiful deft touches.
But one player that suffered from Okocha's dominance was James Obiora. I personally rate Obiora above Oruma and Obodo James Obiorah na confirmed baller, talent wise he was next to Okocha. |

mostob: TBH, I didn't watch him during his playing days. So I can't really say He has imposing body that coaches love to see, very calm and skillful but from AM to DM limited his games. I don't know why Sani Keita was picked ahead of Seyi Olofinjana for 2010 WC cuz Seyi was far better even as DM.We talked about this recently and said he regretted not making it and what made it painful was that he deserved a spot. |

teeshet: where do you place olofinjana in DM ranking Seyi Olofinjana was like Mikel Obi that was converted from AM to DM.He was converted by Austin Eguavoen and moved to Norway as DM.... I preferred Olofinjana as AM cuz he was like Kanu Nwankwo with his ball sense.I remembered his goal against Zamalek when he was with Kwara United during CAF cup, just like Kanu. Talking about great Super eagles DMs,Seyi name will not be counted cuz we have Muda Lawal,Sunday Oliseh and Ndidi Wilfred. |

chrisooblog: Ok but I think Olofinjana needs a more significant role than a vague ambassador position. Emenalo has shown himself to be a reasonably competent football administrator from his time with Chelsea, Monaco and now Saudi Arabia. He discovered some decent talent no reason we can't tap from his expertise. Seyi Olofinjana and Mike Emenalo are not jobless and it would take a serious NFF to engage them and as you said we need their expertises. |

chrisooblog: Why we're not tapping people like him and Emenalo to play a crucial role in the NFF is beyond me. Seyi Olofinjana is NFF ambassador of Nigeria youth league which involves academies in Nigeria....Mike Emenalo doesn't relate with Nigeria much, apart from being member of US 94 team and thanks to Iroha injury, nobody would have remembered him for anything. |

TheSuperNerd: Diaz played 31 la liga games and came from the bench 13 times. He started only 18 games. He averaged 51mins per game. How is that starter or influence material?
Lookman played 29 Serie A games, starting 20 of them and averaging an hour per game.
In the European Competitions, it is far worse.
Below is Lookman in the UEL 23/24 vs Diaz in UCL 23/24. EOD. Thanks for this but make our guys gives us WC ticket. |

Meliforme: Finidi's invitation of Awaziem seems like he prioritises ball possession.
Awaziem is one of our bests when it comes to making good passes of the ball.
Awaziem is very good when it comes to making clearances of the ball, insomuch that his ball clearances in many instances of it look like a long pass to a team mate because he is good with long passes. Hmmm oga Meli,Awaziem don join dem Nwakali,Ejuke,Chuckwueze,Iheanacho......well I love Awaziem style of play though career static |

Mujtahida: How would you compare Wayne Rooney of England, a country with verifiable records of births and deaths going back to at least 500 years back. Let Rooney look as old as Soyinka, his age is confirmed by the system, not how he looks. The reason is simple: the system is trustworthy and has been so for ages and not just for football but for all purposes.
Come down here. What's the system? Where are the verifiable records? I don't understand how we know, we all know the kind of country we live in oo but when it comes to this age issue, we pretend that we are angels.
If not for technology, didn't we know how it used to be? Some years in the past, we got it right. Some years we didn't. Although it's gotten better since 2010.
So please we can look at a person's face in Nigeria and we can tell his age. Might not be a foolproof method but if we see the face of 17 or 20 years Olds in Nigeria, we know abeg. The law my comment looked too serious to you abi na sarcasm o |
