That is not the point of debate. Be coherent when debating. The point is fair and corrupt free camp. Nothing he stated disagreed with that. And, I let him understand that.

Finito.
Understand what?my point was Osimhen came to open camp based on recommendation. If you don't know Osimhen was drove to Abuja by agent Shira Ayila a brother to ex international Yusuf Ayila....Did I accused Amunike of corruption regarding open camping?NO but fact Amunike got developmental fee from Nwakali transferred which you said is normal cuz he was part of his development but did he got the same developmental fee from Osimhen transferred fee since he was also involved in his development.

The point is on corruption. Working with street coaches is not corruption.

If Amunike was corrupt, he could have used his position to make money and not select the best players.

That is the point.

Finally, Osimhen said without Amunike, he doubts he would be where he is.

Give Amunike his flowers and respect.
Did anybody said Osimhen was lying about Amunike giving him his breakthrough abi na only him dey discover players or wetin u wan Manu Garba do

Yes Amunike had corruption allegations against him, verified or not and it involves players under him.

Expressing my views on his other side doesn't mean I didn't rate him as a coach?....Do not worry I go hold the flowers and respect baba thegoodjoe.

I hope he get good job soon and prove NFF wrong.

TheGoodJoe:

I don't understand your point. Amunike getting recommendation and not giving the player automatic spot shows he is not corrupt. There is nothing wrong in recommendation. So what is the problem.

Amunike ran a fair open camp, screened and selected the best. So what is the problem?
Did I condemned Amunike open screening exercise.

My point is on Osimhen coming to trial without recommendation but trying to tell you that Osimhen was already a popular youth player around Lagos and there is no way Osimhen will just parked his bag and go to ABUJA without being recommended for open trial cuz,Amunike I know worked with real street coaches especially in Lagos for talents.

Which investigation? Did they meet Amunike and ask for his side of the story?

Please. One side of the story. Anyone can say anything.
Sir it's not one sided story cuz it was a story on a full scale and Amunike personally confirmed it,though denied involvement in Iheanacho transfer but confirmed assault on Galliano, telling him he wanted to reap where he did not sowed

He had meeting with Galliano Henry and Oluwaseun Solomon regarding Iheanacho transfer at Rockview hotel in Owerri and warned them to stay clear.

TheGoodJoe:
For start, Amunike dropped Osimhen and was convinced by one of his assistant to give him another chance. That shoots holes into that recommended talk.
Recommendation does not give you automatic SPOT.

Sir have you ever attended football screening exercise before?

We recommended and brought James Obiorah for Kwara bomber screening in 1993.He was so young and thin but took him last training match to be picked.....I was part of a group that recommended Dele Aiyenigba to Kwara Star but he was able to convinced the coaches.....We recommended Seyi Olofinjana to late coach Kafaru Alabi of Kwara United and he made it.Also, late Isaac Promise to Kwara United who later captained Siasia teams but failed the trial.

I have numerous players to mention here cuz I know what am talking about regarding open camping exercises.

I have attended series of U17 open camping exercises through my snr bro who is a FIFA licenced agent who always working with academies and great participant of Viareggio and other tournaments.

Sir recommendation does not guaranteed automatic SPOT in open camping screening.

If another team had played the way City played yesterday, you would have come here to tell us how they parked the bus and didn't come out to play.
Thank you, honestly I just don't know is it a sin for city to park bus?

Las Las, it was an open camp and the best selected. It was not a case of bribery and racketeering. Amunike was not corrupt and selected the best. Nothing you are saying there counters the point. It was an open camp and Amunike used a system to screen them. So people should stop their baseless lies of corrupt and pride.
I don't want to go into Amunike developmental fee issue again.Hope you remembered his well documented transfer issue with Iheanacho agent.

I have told you that the development fee is not corruption. I did not justify anything. It is plain fact. Coaches through history always get part of development fee.

It was the family's choice and not coerced in anyway.

Leave that integrity talk because you have hatred for people without reasons. You wish people to fail without them doing you nothing. That is no way integrity.

Amunike who coached for years despite being owed can't be tagged corrupt. Trained coaches locally under a government project without collecting money. You can't call that person corrupt.

Amunike was able to discover genuine stars because his process was not corrupt. If it was corrupt, we won't have a pure water seller making the team when thete are agents and politicians that will pay good money for slot.

Leave your lie and negative campaign. It is coming from hate and not integrity and honesty.
Oga thegoodjoe your love for Amunike is well understood.

Pure water seller should be Osimhen and anybody telling you that Osimhen came to U 17 open camp without any recommendations is not telling you the truth.

Open camp does not mean you just gatecrash but it's is open for you to prove yourself without favouritism....Osimhen was too popular in Lagos academies environment and street football to be ignored for U 17 open camp.

Football in Lagos is different from other states, they follow grassroots football passionately than NPFL.Victor Osimhen was already a very popular grassroots footballer that was on the lips of Lagos fans and mind you Amunike na AJ man, reason why Lagosians are rooting for him for eagles job.

During U17 camp,Amunike have his local recruiting team all over especially in Lagos recommending players to him, very few players go to camp without recommendation and mind you those players even find it hard to get into training cuz there are listed players for open camping.Coaches might have told us "I did open camping" but the truth players come in with their agents.

LoL I don't agree with that Peckham crackhead but bro Keshi and Amokachi did Aluko dirty. Who were these guys preferred ahead of him? The likes of Babatunde Michael, Gabriel etc? Aluko was impressive in the matches he played for us especially against SA where Omeruo was räped by Tokelo Rantie. Aluko was creative but Keshi would rather pack 100 defensive midfielders than provide a place for Aluko. They did him dirty and that was one of the reasons I didn't like Keshi.
Big boss fumbled regarding Aluko Sone,Brown Ideye and Ike Uche though later misbehaved but I expected Keshi to still consider him instead of Nwofor and Uchebo.

Absolutely
Especially when you consider that JayJay once kept Ronaldinho on the bench at PSG
I think it was that 2002 world cup season that he really stepped up in goals and assists

If you watch any JayJay highlights videos, they often showcase his tricks and skills but many of his passes were misplaced as well

If he had only been more purposeful or direct, we probably would have won more than we did at national level and maybe he would have gotten atleast one APOTY award
Jay Jay didn’t kept Ronaldinho on the bench,it was Nigerians way of expressing how good Okocha was,yes young Ronaldinho met him and learnt few tricks……Ronaldinho spent two seasons with PSG and played 55 matches with 17 goals to tell you he wasn’t benched and Okocha spent four seasons played 84 matches scored 12 goals,in fact Okocha was sold cuz of Ronaldinho.

Okocha not winning APOTY still a debate cuz we have seen players who didn’t perform as he does that have won it,so is not about him not being ambitious, losing to Mustapha Hadji still surprising.

In the 80s and early 90s a French Magazine organized APOTY and if you check properly you see French speaking countries winning it or players playing in the French league. It was Rashidi Yekini that broke the jinx if not we would have had Emma Okala,Christian Chuckwu,Stephen Keshi Ricky Owubokiri and Segun Odegbami as APOTY winners.

Westerhorf knew that Yekini was misfiring. Yet in absence of Amokachi he brought in Thompson Oliha and Adepoju was already in the pitch. Just Siasia would have killed that game off. Imagine such pass to yekini and he couldn't sort his legs. My whole family cried that night honestly. My pop even said that coach sold the match.
That Mike Emenalo pass to Yekini should have drew the match but Yekini failed to use his body….if na today Yekini for hear am

Okocha was not playing to the gallery in that match, he really held that midfield throughout the game. It was against Denmark in 98 he was playing to the gallery.

You forgot that in 1994 ,the number of subs in a match was 2.
Yes 2,thanks for the correction…..He played to the gallery cuz I remember a situation where Yekini and Finidi were waiting for a pass from Jay Jay but he just turned and Finidi was like what!shaking his head.

Westerhorf really do us strong thing for that US94. Rooted Sia1 on d bench even when dem comot Amokachi heels and Amunike blokos. Upon all the misfiring from Yeking. Somehow every pass was still going to him. Italians found out, left the MF for Okocha and Donadoni held on to Yekini. Maybe introduction of Prince of Monaco and Sia1 may have swung that game in our favour.
Westerhof wanted to hold on to 1 goal advantages by bringing in Adepoju and Oliha but forgotten Jay Jay was still on the field playing to gallery…the perfect subs should have been Siasia for Amokachi,Ikpeba for Amuneke and Adepoju for Okocha.

Rashidi Yekini was off against Italy

I meant Siasia hardly assist Yekini. The same Siasia that did not make the 1988 and 1990 Nations Cup? Siasis came into limelight 1991/92.
Samson Siasia came to limelight in Moscow 85 after missed Mexico 83 due to his WAEC in St Finbarrs, and later made Moscow 85 where he assisted Monday Odiaka to emerge as one of the leading scorer…..He would have made Afcon 86 with Odiaka,Austin Igbinabairo,Osaro Obabaifo but Nigeria failed to qualify, losing to Zambia and this led to sack of Chris Udemezue.

Samson Siasia was not released for Maroc 88 just like Keshi who later forced his way by flew in out in and played two matches during the tournament.

After the tournament Samson Siasia emerged again with Yekini,Sam Okwaraji,Andrew Uwe and Stephen Keshi, they qualified eagles for Seoul Olympic Games.Samson Siasia played all through 1990 WC qualifiers but not released again by his club for Algiers 1990.

He made his Afcon debut in 1992 which was too late for a player who was regular with eagles since late 1985.

Samson Siasia did not came to limelight in 1992 Afcon.

During the 1992 Nations Cup opening match against Senegal, with the score tied at 1-1, Yekini missed a clear opportunity to pass to Siasia, who was facing an open net and with the opportunity to score a brace after a fantastic equalizer from him. Instead, Yekini opted to dribble past the goalkeeper, but the keeper managed to take the ball from his leg. Siaone appeared visibly frustrated and angry, leading some to speculate that Siasia intentionally failed to pass against the Ivorians as payback.

I also believe that Siaone and Kanu did not play the same role for the Super Eagles. Siaone wore the number 9 jersey for a reason, indicating his position as more of a modern-day striker.
Westerhof do not often paired him with Amokachi, while Kanu played alongside Amokachi.
Kanu's role seemed to limit his goal contributions for the Super Eagles.
Interestingly, whenever Siasia played, Yekini struggled to score.

This could be attributed to Siasia's movement, which resembled that of a modern-day number 9. I liken his style to that of Iheanacho, which might explain why many coaches found it challenging to incorporate Siasia into their strategies both at Nantes and SE. Ironically, Kanu has similar issues at Arsenal.

Of course, personally, I will take Kanu. Kanu was generational!
I think it happens in football especially when it comes to key passes, goal scorers sometimes need to be selfish but Siasia pass against Ivory Coast was painful one cuz Nigeria need that WC spot.

Whenever Siasia played Yekini struggled to score? Pls am not getting your point here cuz Siasia and Yekini partnership was one of the best till Siasia was dropped after Ivory Coast match pass saga…..pls go and watch eagles in 80s and early 90s…Yekini/Siasia was the longest pairing in eagles history.
