Okoye’s major crime even before his mistake against Tunisia is that he is good looking 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Carl Ikeme is ugly and Uzoho is handsome abi...I want to tell you if Okoye perform brilliantly for eagles today you see fans hailing him and good for him is doing it week in week out in seria A,watching him against Juventus am impressed, top performance which I rated over his performance against Cagliary.

I disagree though I think we were outmanned in the midfield and therefore outmuscled completely hence the one way traffic. Yes am no coach but I think we should have played started Onyeka, Yusuf and Iwobi together. That extra body in MF would have at least made it harder for the Ivorians. The pressure on the defense was relentless.
Thumb up to Onyeka,he was massive.

Paseiro said our players were nervous hence lost possession.

I think I will have to agree with him. They were overwhelmed by the occasion.
When you have 11 players and you are playing like 9 against 11 then the pressures would make the players to be nervous, starting Iwobi and Chuckwueze gave CIV the confident to take ball to us

I saw that too. Ekong didn't know Haller had another option. He should had contested the ball since he arrived before Haller.
That's football and I want to say our defenders did well cuz Iwobi and Chuckwueze are liabilities in that match, the duo contributed nothing to defend the ball.

Loll, I don't agree with you at all

I have watched Christian Nwoke of Sporting Lagos and that guy makes School boy mistakes

Meanwhile, the Maduka is the starting GK of Udinese and has had recent good form

Oga, this your submission is not it at all. Christian Nwoke ke? lollllll
Oga naso Nwakali kept against Mexico conceded 4 goals and anytime his name comes up na Nwakali ke but miles ahead of Uzoho and Maduka....yes Maduka is Udinese number one and I watched all his matches, nothing special except his first match against Cagliary in FA cup,he conceded goals that Nwabali would saves with ease....my point enough of overrating European based goalkeepers......Nwabali in NPFL would not have make Afcon team......Christian Nwoke and Osayi Kingdom are keepers will need now to complement Nwabali not keepers that do not have any remarkable performance in eagles colour despite the opportunities given to them.

Dude played with an injury, He is one of the players am most grateful to. He wasn't 100% fit for this Afcon yet he gave his all. Twice in the early minutes against SA and CIV he went down, how he still gets all that energy to press upfront is a wonder. His APOTY is no fluke
We just need to fix that midfield

Let us be real, throughout Peseiro's time here, we have never built our midfield. We did not freeze on the occasion. We never grew. That is how we ran with the myth that we had no keeper. Scout and screen and freaking build a team. Nigeria is not a country that fields chickens as players. Pound for pound, Brazil had far better players than us in 96, but we did not cower, we gave them hell.
Truth be told,am not happy yesterday not cuz we lost but we failed to fight gallantly.Alex Iwobi and Chuckwueze i just don't know

Going forward, perseiro is not the one for us he is too timid and defensive. While he has improved our defense, he is too lazily a coach to scout for midfielders. This bad tradition of carrying 4 midfielders to major tourneys must stop

Iwobi can't be starting for us. This tourney showed that he isn't really as good as he is touted. A good sub nonetheless but not a starter for a title contender.

Osimhen tried. He just wasn't getting services

Zaidu sanusi shouldn't be starting. We need to get a solid LB or draft a player there.

Maduka Okoye should come take the place of Uzoho. His time with is is over.

We did great and surpassed expectations. Just need a new coach and some few tweaks here and there. Maybe Angola's coach or Hugo boss since he has more experience...or herve Renard. Emmanuel Amunike wouldn't be bad but I'm not sure about him

I'm talking of coaches that are realistically within our reach
Right man to cover for Stanley Nwabali is Christian Nwoke not Okoye Maduka cuz he is a complete keeper,if Nwabali sleep that boy will become number one.

Boss, these guys are too young. bTW, how many senior professional games do they have under their belt?
Blue baba,Alex Iwobi made eagles as academy player...my 14 years old son is playing in U18 youth league and a starter playing from CB.

I think we just need to fix things up ...you said can we get Daga but Eletu and Akinsanmiro are too young.

A very good tournament for Nigeria and time to reflect on how to fix the team up for WC qualification. It is time to give the likes of Akinsanmiro and Eletu the chance cuz it was glaring we couldn't controlled our games in the middle in all our matches.

How can you take Aina from the right where you get to reap maximum benefit and put him on the right where Zaidu offers good defensive cover? You want to attack and score forgetting that if they score you due to frailty at the back and you fail to score, dem don win you. Didn't you guys see that Bassey for the first time in this tournament was not comfortable due to the absence of Zaidu?

It's not that I like Zaidu but I'd rather reap maximum benefit in having Aina play on the right than take 70 percent having him on the left where Zaidu offers at least 90 % defensive cover.

Truth is that in terms of getting into good position on the left Zaidu is better than Aina. It's just his final balls that let's him down. If not he'd have scored at least two goals by now
Sir,am not a coach but Sanusi will not make my team, not hating but my personal conviction. As it is nothing stopped him from starting against Ivory Coast cuz Peseiro believe so much in him but as a fan am just expressing my opinion, possibly I maybe wrong.

Aina's best game has come with him playing on the right.
I still insist that Bassey should be starting on the left. He should only be drafted to LCB "if" he gets tired, that way the team must have benefited from his play for 70 minutes.
Yes you are right on Aina best position but I will pick Aina over Sanusi at LB.....good having as LB but as it stand he is doing a yeoman job assisting in the middle and also assisting Sanusi.

Alhassan is commended for his athleticism however he is too rash. He alone conceded the penalty and also conceded the free kick that forced the keeper to make that punch from which South Africa capitalized on the rebound and almost scored. And he was supposed to mark the guy that went for the rebound but he was caught ball watching.
Yes from our own views sometimes football is easy but in reality is demanding reason why mistakes always leading to goal....yes Alhassan was at fault and I think he should learn from it but do you remember Ndidi cost us Afcon 2019 match against Algeria but who do we blamed Akpeyi.
