Boniface will have to tear it up much more than Onuachu did to earn a comparison with Osimhen in any debate.
Onuachu did so in record-breaking fashion in Belgium and still cannot be counted in the same league as Osimhen.
Look, the truth remains this... Osimhen remains head and shoulders above every striker we have got. He is the Super Eagles' Number 1 ST/CF and he's not slowing down.

Axis313: Muric is very very right, the subtle ways those bigots used in forcing their Christianity on us when we are in the primary school, they always forced us Muslim students to do the useless clapping when they are doing praise worship or whatever on the assembly every morning,if you no clap na cane you go chop. But then, nobody complain. Thank God today, majority of us have seen the light and see through their evil plot. Those Muslim students should endure whatever they are going through in the hands of their Christian teachers and examiners,it's just a little time. I am very sure if reverse is the case,we no go hear word again, all our so called national newspapers will be up in arms accusing Tinubu of trying to Islamize Lagos state and south west, and the CAN won't be left out, those ones will be yammering incoherently, but as the case is right now,we no go hear anything, they don turn deaf and dumb.
MODIFIED For those quoting me negatively,I know you are very pained, but i don't have any sorry to give anybody, the truth is very bitter. I am a Muslim and I am a Yoruba and am very proud of it,and it is my duty and obligation to demand for the right of fellow Muslims,I knew what we went through in the hands of those Christian teachers in public schools when we are growing up,forcing us to read bible and so on. I already knew from the beginning that there are sinister moves by the Christian hierarchy against Southwest Muslims,in all public institutions, state ministries before resumptions in the morning, you will be forced to do morning devotion,if not they will blacklist you. Ogbeni just keep quiet and who was forcing you to read Bible in your school days....you and the 90 likes are terrorists and I wish you well cos your prayers always is to have Boko Haram in South West Nigeria but guess what it will never happen cos average yoruba Muslims and Christians understand the game going on very well, not fake Muslims looking for 72 virgins to bleep after killing many for their gods.....get it cleared I came from a very strong Muslim family and going to xtian schools was added advantage cos it gave a lot of Muslims students the opportunity to really understand what is religion tolerance. Nigeria is dying as a country but here you are talking about ordinary common entrance exams that had xtian questions,oh what do you expect Christians in Kwara State schools to do if you can be so pained just cos of mere questions. Nigeria will never be Islamic or xtian nation and south west will resist any attempts by fake religions bigotries to turn things upside.Go to North West and North East and joined your daredevils brothers and keeps the momentum of kidnapping, rapping and killing just cos of religion.....Awon Idiots with stupid professor. |

TheSuperNerd: Shown more consistency how? The way you just jump into a convo without any iota of facts to back up your stance.
Mikel was super consistent for Chelsea from 2006/07 till 2013/14. That's a whooping 8 seasons of consistency and he was a major player in all of Chelsea's triumphs in that era. It is only the 2014/15 season EPL triumph that can be said to not have Mikel as a key player even though he had 18 EPL appearances. Even the 2015/16 season saw him play 25 games with 19 as starts before his Rio 2016 adventure saw him dropped by Conte for the 16/17 season for not refusing to rep Nigeria at the Olympics. 15/16 was Mikel's end at Chelsea.
In the Super Eagles, Mikel was almost always CONSISTENTLY among our top performers per game. Same cannot be said of Ndidi in the GWG based on same CONSISTENCY.
And in terms of all-round Defensive Solidity, Ndidi is not better than Mikel. You think Tackles and Interceptions are all that make up defensive Solidity? How about positional intelligence? The ability to cover passing lanes laterally and also offer defensive turnover passes to relieve pressures on your own defence? How about World Class press resistance? How about those? Mikel had all of these in addition to the tackles, recoveries and interceptions Ndidi is mostly known for.
Also, Mikel's all time Tackle success rate % in the EPL is 78%. Ndidi's all time tackle success rate % stands at 62% so far.
So sorry, ain't no way is Ndidi more defensively solid than Mikel. Even Mikel is stronger... it seems Mikel's size and strength was lost on you during his playing days.
So My Son, be a good lad and go check what consistency means again.
The Mikel vs Spain CDM Masterclass is something Ndidi can only dream of. So wake up out of your delusions. Wilfred Ndidi himself rated Mikel highly and said he primarily went to view center to watch only Mikel in Chelsea and Sunday Oliseh came up with a very myopic statement about Mikel,no wonder he is now coaching a regional club in Germany. I watched Muda Lawal,Ademola Adeshina,Sunday Oliseh,Mikel Obi and now Ndidi, from my opinion Mikel was an old version of Muda Lawal who does it simple and I can say it anywhere that Oliseh was not better than mercurial Muda Lawal. Fact remain that Mikel was the best midfield export from Nigeria cos wasn't easy playing for a very top club consistently for good ten years, |

TheSuperNerd: Reports out of Naples say all is okay now.
They all understand Osimhen's reaction to be one of protecting a teammate over a harsh foul that wasnt called + the point of his crazy winning mentality. Two of the points I have been making especially knowing how madly passionate a lad like Victor can get in intense moments even in training.
Lad is a mentality monster. Let that sink in. Starboy Osimehn should always take it cool in a situation like this, not always good for club image and Napoli coming out to clarify the whole issues showed that it was regrettably incident. |

charlesemeka85: from now to the next afcon he will be 35 then 37 at the next World Cup? Noooo
Also he is currently club less and it’s of great concern if a club like rangers refuses to renew your contract as a footballer. It simply implies that you are finished
Even I heard he wanted to remain in Scotland and approached rangers board for a renewal of his contract which they refused @34 he has done well, won Scottish league as integral member of the team and Scottish FA cup.... Balogun is finished cos Rangers refused to extended his one year contract? debatable....Rangers refused to extend a 34 years old player contract is understandable. Rangers of today as a club are ambitious and don't forget the team was Europa finalist, meaning they need to build the team and remember Balogun was given a year extension last season and losing his starting position meaning he just have to leave...... hearing Balogun begging Rangers for contract extension, haba have never heard such even in NPFL though his body language might says I want to stay but begging,No. Oga Charles wetin Awaziem do you,Porn biz,Sometimes things not working out does not mean the player is bad.....Hmmm Ekong, honestly I don't rate him but i love his spirit anytime he puts on GWG.....Omeruo has done well for national team but Club career he failed woefully no thanks to that Chelsea moved. Good we have Calvin Bassey who I see as another Osimehn in defence, not easy splashed such amount on young Rangers player by Ajax, meaning he has the real potential.A real revelation in Europe especially in Europa league, hope to see him putting scintillating performance next season. Yes time for eagles to rebuild with young ones but i want to say only Calvin is standing out,Akpogunma, Jordon or any young ones need to tell us that they are better than what we have just like Bassey did. |
