grin grin grin
Labour Party with the all their big grammar even came 4th position in Osun State election
Labour Party should collapse their structure for Atiku like they did in 2019
If Obi is sincere then am seeing Labour party by 2027 election as a mega party to reckon with but the party need to have at least five state governors and relative numbers in NASS and state assemblies in this coming election to make statement....how I wish SDP,ADC,NNPP,YPP can collapsed their structures for Labour party, with this Nigerians will see real political tornadoes.

And Rohr invited Ndah and Nwakali?
Oga Subzero, and Rohr invited Chiedebere Nwakali.

Let's give it to Eguavoen for Bassey debut against Ghana in all important WC qualifier and for having the gut to bench Porto boy Zanusi.

I really appreciate Rohr for his first invitation but more respect for Eguavoen for cap tied the boy cos by now Italy or England would have extended invitation to him and trust Southgate.

Good luck to young Bassey,i see him performing in Dutch league but UCL performance would be his KPI for another huge transfer from Ajax.

Emekus oga Kog na elder for here o, abeg make we discuss and no need for fighting or dissing sir. In the 80s and 90s, European teams could only play 3 foreign players. Foreign then means foreign whether from a member EU state or not. Also, there wasn't enough money back in soccer then as you have now.
Thanks the Sun man,we don settled.

It was damn difficult in the 80s,talented Yekini in the 80s went to Ivory coast and later to Portuguese second division.Rashidi latter made his little money in his short stint in Saudi league.

The opportunities then were very limited compared to what we have now...my point was Nigeria or Africa players in the 80s didn't have the opportunity to excel even the french clubs preferred francophone guys.It was Keshi who took it personally by linking Nigeria players up in Belgium and thank God for Westerhoff for the exposure in the 90s.These two personalities really assisted Nigeria football.

good player in the national team abi good enough to attract better clubs and offers when he was in europe? Stop been emotional and use ur head

bassey is still young and still hv all the time in the world to mk a move that will enrich him. Same goes to chukwueze as well

Other leagues don’t waste money on players like the epl and you must know that zaidu with what he earns at porto currently is miles better than what he got from where he joined them

Life na step by step and with time these players you mentioned will earn moves that will settle them financially for life

While siasia was making peanuts in europe the likes of jay and Kanu were raking in good money so if siasia was good enough to attract a club that would hv offered him good pay package nothing would hv stopped that

Wasn’t it the same period his team mate amokachi bought a private jet from money he was making playing footie in europe?
Oga Samson Siasia was a very good player, just check out his goal against Argentina in US94....

Oh Siasia is a senior man and not Amokachie,Kanu and Okocha mate o.He already had good six years before Amokachie made the team, eight years before Okocha and and almost retired before Kanu made the team .

He left Nigeria in the 80s and signed useless contract with Lockeren and used all his real active years playing for peanuts and it was not even easy for him to sign for Nantes, then not easy in the 80s for Africa players getting club in Europe.Siasia in the 90s would have played for a very top team.My point is this player need to make money if opportunity comes, truly Bassey is young but am very sure Ajax will pay very good wages and for Chuckwueze time for him to make good money.

They overrate it too much .

They will pick an ekuke epl player over a top player at Ajax Porto and co
Oga Andrew naso...imagine Zaidu is on 6k weekly,Chuckwueze wages get as ebi despite the talent, funny some championship clubs pay more than some top teams in Europe then to talk about EPL teams....mind you not only Nigeria players preferred EPL,most players want EPL cos they pay more and football is about saving for retirement unless we are deceiving ourselves....Samson Siasia told me he made little from pro career that Patrick Paschal who played in Turkey for three years made more money than him.He said Mikel is the richest Nigeria player retired or active cos he had good eleven years with Chelsea and got good pay and said generally playing in EPL do guarantee better days ahead after retirement.

Preseason Injury Update: Ndidi injured again

Brendan Rodgers confirms that Wilfred Ndidi who only recently made a return to full training with the group after recovering from a knee operation, done since March, picked up a fresh injury in training... an ankle injury this time.

This explains why he isn't a part of Leicester's ongoing Preseason fixture vs OH Leuven.

Brendan hopes Ndidi will be able to return to training by next week.

Sad. Wishing him fresh recovery.
No Ndidi.... honestly I thought by now Ndidi would be Nigeria most sought after player even ahead of Osimehn.Quick recovery boy.

Preseason Mood: Watford's Naija lads get minutes

Mins ago, Watford beat Wycombe Wanderers 4-1 in a preseason tie.

Emmanuel Dennis bagged one goal and played 62mins before being subbed off.

Maduka Okoye played the second 45 mins replacing Daniel Bachmann who kept a cleansheet in the first 45.

Samuel Kalu came in on 62mins off the bench.

William Troost Ekong came in on 62mins as well off the bench to finish the game.

Tom Dele-Bashiru came in on 75mins and finished the game.

Good run-out for the Lads.
If Daniel Bachmann would be Watford number one then Maduka should seek for another loan, possibly back to Dutch league.

Nimi Brigg is a professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He was Emeritus professor years back. The FG may have set up the committee, but being headed by a professor will definitely cause bias.

The salary and wages comission should regulate income. First by comparing with other Countries, then adjusting this mathematically to Nigerians current economic state. This should be done for all worker actually, professors are not special breed.

PonziHater
God bless you... professor earning 2m and least worker on 30k monthly salary, really surprised seeing people comparing salary package of US,UK professors with our professors who turned our citadel of learning to secondary schools, getting professorship should go to real academician not PHD holders who got there based on inner university quota to favor one tribe or the other. Some got their professorship based on religion affiliation, nothing more.
Education › Re: FG Committee Recommends ₦ 2 Millions Monthly Pay For Professors by Kog45(m): 8:17am On Jul 15, 2022
Good but professors we have now are not really sound academically, everything have been politicise and religion, ethnicity and tribal influencing had taken over especially in states universities, even federal universities were indigenes are determinant.Checking our students abilities should tell us the level of our academicians.

Unserious in what way? What post did the present deputy governor of Lagos State was holding before taken that post, are you trying to say that those in movie industry have no right to contest. Pls stop saying what you don't know. The Lagos deputy governor is a rooted politician and do you think Abike Dabiri just jumped from NTA and made it straight to house of rep.She resigned and joined real politics in Ikorodu.Desmond Eliot went to Surulere to do real grassroots politicking but who is Funke Akindele in PDP politics, nobody but now a deputy governor aspirant......PDP Lagos don turn to cruise o
