Karlovych: Currently even the gamble on Okoye hasn't really paid off and he is still shaky at times. When Ikeme arrived we all saw his qualities undoubtedly and Okoye is yet to give that impression on many Nigerians for the SE, his club career though has improved nonetheless. We can only wish the team good luck in Cameroon Thank you for this masterpiece. |

lbrichman2: Egbon, he doesn't need to be better than Aribo or Iwobi He has a different skillset to them He can make spread play, make good diagonal passes and is above average at set pieces This is what he's bringing to the team I pray he grabs the opportunity This team needs a midfield creator I got your point but he must be better to put the duo on the bench or do you have any formations that will accommodate Nwakili,Aribo and Iwobi. |

Karlovych: He has not been creative this season based on his stats, and again why should we look past club status and form? The national team is not a rehab. I'm sure if Jack Wilshere was Nigerian he will still be invited for his creativity. Eguavoen is gambling on Nwakili just like Rohr gambled on Maduka Okoye....hope it paid off but Nwakili am seeing it's 40/60....if he turns things around in Afcon I would be surprised. |

lbrichman2: Yes you're right But Nwakali is there for one reason only: our lack of creativity in matches If we focus on that and look past his club status, then we would understand why he's on the list That's all there is to it
Big question What if he comes in and solves our midfield creativity problem? What would be your response then? Nwakili must perform or bye bye to eagles....this is an opportunity for him to tell us that he wasn't that lucky club wise and he is better than Aribo and Iwobi cuz I don't see him walking straight into the team. |

do4luv14: the Fact is that same list, which Austin was trying to Update, pass through his Table as the Technical Director of the Nff,
he can't tell me he doesn't see the list, before it was submitted to CAF,
not just this list Alone, but all list during Rohr time, the too many defenders, the thin midfield, and continually invites to those who does not deserves it,
even Ighalo recall too, they all pass through his table Gernot Rohr said he doesn't listen to NFF advice when it comes to player invitations. |

GoddyOra: No surprises here except for Nwakali's call up but since we are short of quality midfielders in europe then I guess he can have a pass. I do think the number of central strikers is a bit overkill since Osimhen would play most minutes throughout the tourney (if declared fit) hence; Awoniyi, Ighalo, Sadiq and Iheanacho will be warming the bench a lot.
Would have dropped one of the aforementioned strikers for another CM/AM and maybe dropped one of Olisa/Shehu/Omeruo for a proper right-back in the mould of Ebuehi.
All the same, the Coach/Technical crew knows best. The squad is good enough for another semi-final showing or even going as far as clinching the main thing...
Go Super Eagles!!!! Olisa Ndah is the surprised call up not even Nwakili cos nobody mentioned him here. |

I told u the Pinnick apologists cooked up the story to put the Dare led sport ministry in bad light as the reason why the NFF want them in awka Ibom instead of abuja... there is no such plans by the NFF to take them to Cameroon via road Pinnick was even lucky that Dare is a complete gentlemen who really understands the FIFA rule that say no interference from govt in running football administration....it's only here am seeing people trying to bring Dare in. Regarding the stadia for preparation, good we have Uyo and Abuja. It's left for NFF to chooses but sport minister can give advice, why not Abuja. Sir,nobody will try that shit taking Nigeria team to Cameroon by road,Abuja or Uyo good for their training. |

Philosopher1979: Actually Sadiq Umar has 8 goals and 7 assists in 19 matches. that is 15 goal involvements in 19 matchs (75%). Sadiq Umar is not about just goals, he is a creative forward like el hadj diof of the 2002 world cup. This is why there is interest in him. His underlying stats are impressive. He scores, assists, passes and dribbles. When he does not score, he completes 5 dribbles, wins penalties, creates 3 chances etc in a match. Sadiq Umar is the most creative forward we have. HIS CREATIVITY IS UNDERRATED. I MEAN EVEN MAN CITY AND SEVILLA IS INTERESTED IN HIM so we are not fools for talking about him. He is only in Almeria because his club refused to sell him by overpricing him
As per Nwakali, he as impressive last season as he saved Alcorcon from relegation and was player of the month for his club. Also, he is now a major part of the sd huesca team. In his last few matches, he was the best player on the pitch Sir,I totally agreed with you on Sadiq Umar but on Nwakili...NO NO....Nwakili can only come in if Eguavoen is ready to do Maduka Okoye treatment on him like Rohr did with Okoye. Kelechi Nwakili can only make it base on Eguavoen confidence but on his football assessment for years now,he deserve no eagles call. |

Hv seen him play for Porto in the ucl leagues few times and he seem jittery. The nff and Austin should try and make contact with udinese’s udogie. He will be an upgrade to Collins and Zaidu
Also bassey can be tried in that position as well Yeah Udogie but is he ready for us. |

Meliforme: Is Iwobi better in decision making than Ejuke?
I have been reading Ejuke is poor in decision making and i want to address that misinformation.
I am not in any way saying he should man the AM role. He suits best as a winger.
There is nothing special about the AM role. Wingers can also dictate play and create goal scoring chances. Wingers can link the midfield with the attack. EJuke does that for CSKA Moscow from the wings, his speed and technique enables him to do that.
I also want to point out the fact that no player in the current crop has more technique than Ejuke. Even Ebere Eze and Olise do not show the same level of technique as Ejuke.
Iwobi and Ejuke are even better candidates for the AM role than the Aribo some of you guys keep mentioning. Sir,I rate Ejuke highly but he is not better than Iwobi and Aribo as AM....to me I will pick him as a winger with Chuckwueze over any other wingers but remember he still have Dennis to contend with It's only coming Afcon that will tell us how good Ejuke is but presently he need to convince us more though he has it as a player. |

andrewbaba44: Ebuehi playing LB today again
Not doing badly there I have said it without number that what eagles need is Ebuehi and Aina as fullbacks...I read some analysis on Zaidu and Collins and I was just laughing....apart from playing for Porto, nothing really special about Zaidu and Collins was damn below average. Aina I watched in Torino as LB/LWB is better than Zaidu and Collins. Ebuehi just need more games in Seria A to be back into shape....the guy can do it as RB/RWB. For God sake having versatile players like Ebuehi and Aina should be a plus. |

Mylife89: I and my gf started a new relationship and it's been going well, two weeks ago which was her birthday, we both came to lagos to spend quality time and have fun for two weeks.
while on the vacation, I checked her phone and noticed there was a guy who wished her happy birthday and told her he had a gift for her, she responded and deleted the message
The next day I checked her phone, I didn't see the chat with the guy and I was sure my eyes saw an unread message the previous day.
Four days ago she told me she wants to go she a female.friend, when I confronted her she then mentioned that she wants to go pick up the gift from her male friend, the same guy that she earlier told me about that he is just a friend.
I'm sad cos with all the love I'm beginning to show towards her she isn't satisfied but thinking about another guys gift and attention.
We both quarreled over the issue and I made it clear that if she ever goes to see the guy and I find out it will be the end of our relationship.
Women are truly strange. Ogbeni my candid advice...stop checking your girlfriend phone if you want to have peace of mind. We wey don married no dey check our wives phones....this world is just too simple for one to get BP,depression, suicide feelings on top woman matter. |
