12large1: Ighalo own is simply to be osimehn bench replacement and it’s arguable. But, Victor Moses will walk into our 11. I will pick him ahead of all our present wingers except Ejuke. He is a solid RWB ...Ighalo to warm the bench for Osimehn just like Akpeyi is warming the bench for Maduka and Uzoho. |

12large1: Don’t worry, I am waiting for the final round of WCQ it is when you guys eyes will clear. As of now, I don’t trust awoniyi or onuachu ahead of an experienced ighalo 12large do we qualified for 2006 WC with Kanu and Okocha? I repeat it nothing much Ighalo and Victor Moses going to bring to the table...mind you am a real fan of Victor Moses and I supported Ighalo like kilode on this thread. Nobody forced the two guys into retirement and if they want to come back they should come out openly,no wahala but their coming does not guarantee Afcon trophy or World Cup qualification. |

Pidginwhisper: Anytime i see the BalogunXEkong. I dey always get chill. Bench Ekong and pair Balogun with Akpoguma or Awaziem who has done really well playing CB in GWG.Why’s Rohr scared of trying something new, even in friendly matches. His Ineptitude is sickening. I think Rohr rate and love Ekong cos I don't see any reason why Ekong should be a starter in eagles, and funny enough he is the assistant captain. Off the discussion. I watched MTN with eagles,Troost Ekong and Leon Balogun were asked three questions.... 1..how many times Nigeria won Afcon.. 2..when last did Nigeria won Afcon... 3..how many times Nigeria hosted Afcon... but Ekong failed all the questions and he responded with "I don't know"...I was like what. Balogun was able to get the first two questions right and even gave answer to the third one but missed it. After that question and answer I asked myself simple question, meaning some of these players don't even care...how on earth a very strong member of Super eagles don't even know how many times we won Afcon and the last time we won it and he is a leading member of the same team playing for Afcon qualifications. |

zuchyblink: We have two serious tournament ( AFCON and WCQ)we need to come to the party with our best and established players. The likes of Awoniyi will have their chance in the future Pls who are the established players that are not in the team presently? So at 22,23,24 years they should wait for their time?Pls at what age Ighalo and Victor Moses cut it with eagles? |

zuchyblink: We need experienced players to guide these boys. Club football is different from international football I think Rohr inept is causing the clamoring for Ighalo and Vic Moses return. Osimehn,Awoniyi,Onuachu,Moffi,Sadiq and we want average Ighalo back then something is wrong. Chuckwueze,Simeon Moses,Samuel Kalu,Ejuke, possibly Lookman and old Ahmed Musa who shared the same stage with Moses and we still want Moses back and funny enough the same set of people that want Musa out want Moses in. I think if we want to go by what we are lacking in the team then Mikel Obi should return to eagles ASAP. It's a pity Rohr is not getting it right. |

elyte89: Meanwhile we shldnt mistake club form to national team form
Asyde Osimhen who is doing well for d national team as our striker,d oda options u mentioned hasn't really come to d party.. And we av huge games coming up in November, also d upcoming afcon(inevitably, we must lift d trophy),can these oda options b trusted? Or for aw long are we going to wait till dey translate deir club form into d national team form (I.e onauchu and co) and nacho who shld compliment Osimhen is not really been used as a striker in d national team set up.
Perhaps,d clamour of pinnick to bring back Iggy(an experienced striker) Bro I repeat it Odion is not better than Awoniyi with what am seeing right now, mind you as at last year I wouldn't have said this but now Odion should just continue his retirement in peace. Odion really came into the party for eagles at Afcon 2019 and I really supported him when he was being backlash for that missed against Argentina. I followed him right from U 20 team, his time in Italy,Spain,England and later China.I never rate him until he joined Watford and that strike against Cameroon convinced me more and capped it with wonderful Afcon outing. Sir,presently we don't need him,pls for what,to come and warm bench for Victor Osimehn and waste the chances of young ones like Taiwo Awoniyi,Onuachu,Sadiq and Moffi who are even performing in their various leagues. If I may ask did Odion Ighalo came good when he got his first invitation for eagles, honestly he was a late performer,so I don't buy your assertion that some players are club performers, pls give them the run first and let see what they got to offer. |

charlesemeka85: can’t wait to have a denial look man in the team but I don’t think recalling ighalo is a good idea because currently we hv a lot of young strikers doing decently well in Europe
Odion hv done well for us in the past and we should allow the man enjoy his retirement from the team Yes he has done his best but if he want to come back no issue. I never rate him until later but the big question do we really need him?capital NO with Osimehn doing massively well,Awoniyi giving us good performance every weekend, seeing Onuachu though i don't rate him,Moffi doing well too and Sadiq blastering LA liga two. Odion coming back would be a fatal mistake cos he is not better now than highly in form Osimehn and Awoniyi. |

The nwakali brothers would have become stars had it been they opted for Belgium or Netherlands clubs that really helped Chuks and Ndidi only Nacho proved successful thanks to Pellegrini Pastor said he should picked Wolfsburg but that decision was a nightmare we could have lost a super star...possibly the same pastor told him to move to Belgium, that loan move to Belgium was a massive decision of his career. |

ChrisKels: Arsenal came for Chuks and Osimhen too. Ajax and some other top European clubs renowned for youth developments outside the UK came for Nwakali. Omerou left his development in Belgium abi Netherlands to run to Chelsea. Bros, these things are all down to choice and foresight. Yes you are right but Osimehn and Chuckwueze moves failed not that they don't want to join Arsenal. I think agent need a role to play in deciding the future of these young ones....I can tell you much about Awoniyi Liverpool deal. When it came up oh my God there is no way to it than for him to sign....I think the economy situations of the country is a determinant factor. |

ChrisKels: As much as I love Onuachu, I think it is time to try other strikers to see who nicks that third striker choice spot. Onuachu is doing well at Genk same as Awoniyi and Sadiq for their respective club sides but, I would rest Onuachu for now to see what those other two can bring to the team. Onuachu is a good striker but he is static compared to these two

humility33: Because the country's FA knows their work unlike Nigeria
Despite the quality of their National League and structures in place they still harvest foreign born players prior they are ripe but here in Nigeria no good League and structures in place we still delay in going after this stars
We're even lucky Rohr is making moves rarely will an indigenous coach go after foreign born players because of their corrupt nature...this kids will rarely understand the egunge system so they prefer go after the local based players trying to make Maradona out of them so as to sell to obscure clubs in europe for some dollar notes Oga humility you and indigenous coach palaver nawa o...I asked you again are you not a Nigerian cos you always shouting local coaches and corruption without any proof. Emmanuel Sarki came out with zero allegation without even mentioning anyone, funny enough you said it should be Keshi. Asked Sarki maybe he paid his way into U 17 and U 20 teams? No but no call up from eagles after many years now he was talking about 5k dollars.Pls can Sarki enter eagles team as at then? My man to the main point, hope you know that Keshi was the one that invited Leon Balogun and Ekong Troost.Remember Siasia gave Iwobi his break through in the national team.Hope you remember Oliseh gave that opportunity to Carl Ikeme.Do you remember Onigbinde gave Ozase Odenwegie his first cap.Coach Udemuze gave John Chiedozie the opportunity.Keshi gave Hope Akpan the chance.Remember Sodje brothers invited by Onigbinde. What of Shola Ameobi,Sone Aluko and Sammy Ameobi.Coach and Ladan Bosso invited Semi Ajayi to national team. If you don't know Keshi was the first coach to contact Akpoguma after starring for Germany U 20 at World Cup and you know years before Kevin agreed to play for Nigeria. Good that Rohr was able to convince the likes of Ebuehi,Aina,Maduka,Akpoguma,Aribo but you know what no coach would handle Nigeria team presently and shy away from foreign born cos we are in dearth of talents in NPFL. My man small small on our local coaches they are Nigerians like you. |
