Young promising guy... No one knows tomorrow, the guy grew up in ilorin taiwo area
No he grew up in Agbo Area behind Old mini campus University of Ilorin, built house for his parents in Airport area but relocated his parents to a new house in Tanke F'division area of Ilorin where he spent his holiday anytime he is in Nigeria ......very humble who still mixes with his grassroots friends.

It pains me to see Shola Ameobi being listed as an ex Nigerian international. One of the major reasons I wanted Keshi out then.
Well rejecting Nigeria openly and still made the team not cool

Egbon I still feel Keshi should have found a way to take Uche to the 2014 WC. After all this same troublesome Uche was recalled by Keshi for the AFCON 2015 qualifiers when Nigeria was in danger of missing out.
Yes depending on individual discretions, working against me and still want to be part of my team.He was recalled after pleas.....Oga Chris things dey happen for camp o.....you no see Osimhen rants against Findi just cuz of unverified news

Una dun dey raise stupid arguments over here. So, Amunike was denied for being Igbo? so why was Okechukwu Keshi hired? Why was Christian Chukwu hired? Even Ogochukwu Oliseh even though the efulefu does not know his identity? At age grade, Nduka Ugbade, Amunike, John Obuh.

Since Yemi Tela in 2007 and Onigbinde in 2002 can you name another Yoruba coach and why aren't any Yoruba crying over that? Okay, who are the Fulani coaches or Hausa coaches being hired in place of the almighty Amunike?

I wish this site is not archaic, aswear there are too many monikers to block for my mental health.

That's exactly our problem every world cup year we have this one player that shines in one friendly and base on that we feel he's better than the ones we had. Ogbeche, Idowu, uchebo, Amoebi comes to mind. I recall he only picked Osaze last minute due to cry from fans.
Rohr picked Idowu,Simmy Nwankwo right but he is not a fraud but Keshi na fraud

Same Osaze that got us the goal that qualify us for second round.
Look Keshi have seen it all and told Osaze point-blank play my tactics or get out.....the same Osaze that criticized Lagerback for starting Chinedu Obaze ahead of him during 2010 WC,telling whole world that Siasia was not fit to handle Olympics team after the tournament......Osaze talked to much, hope you remember how he almost ruined Kanu marriage

Bro it was fraudulent ike Uche was one of our highest goal scorer during the qualifiers and also doing very well for his club, Osaze, Taiwo were all doing well but he took Amoebi, uchebo, babatunde, nwafor and that guy that replaced onazi against France. None made any progress after that World Cup
Keshi was not, fact if am in Keshi shoe Uche will not make my team.....Uche frustrated Keshi during Afcon. He dropped him for bad influence, criticizing your coach and still want to be part of the team...I thought Osaze made the team..Echiejele replaced Taiwo perfectly.

At the end Keshi reached 2nd round of WC that Westerhoff reached,so nothing like fraud.

Westerhoff and Keshi remain the bests.

Sorry not to make an exception because they're some like Seyi that developed himself and now working with Chelsea FC

The question how many of them have obtained the required license to make them relevant and at least push for this jobs?

Mikel that is a former Chelsea legend is busy doing podcast Seyi that never played for Chelsea got a job there before Mikel. That's because he developed himself.

The last time a Nigeria was coaching the US under 20 team, that applied for the super eagles job
Seyi Olofinjana is my close friend, not just a friend but my real guy.....so I can tell you much about him.

In life we have different aspirations so you can't force Mikel to follow Seyi path....

Mind you we have ex internationals who are doing well in sports management in Europe,Julius Akpala, Benjamin James and others but guess what it's not easy for them as black men cuz frustration set in when you keep on managing youth teams.

Kompany is enjoying Guardiola recommendations till date.

No. Amunike's own was the worst. Just think of it. It was allowance given by FIFA for the players as they arrived for the World Cup that Amunike's coaching crew were able to shop for winter coats and basic kits.

U17 World Cup.

Those players never got allowances from their time in camp, to the World Cup. Some of them were in the U20 team and they never got allowances too.

Like totally abandoned.

The frightening part was they were going to represent us in the U17 World Cup and little to no welfare.

Keshi, Siasia were bad but their players never had to wear slippers to travel for a top competition.
I remember Siasia team travelled a day to Olympic match...fares paid by Mikel Obi.

Amunike's sabotage is beyond what you just listed. If it is salary, I think it was after his U20 elimination he got paid for the U17 job.

I am talking of sabotaging a team to fail with no support. We are talking about the U17 world cup, the players going to cold a cold region without winter coats. No footwears and traveling with slippers. They were like a joke to the Brazilian team.

Thank God with all their discriminatory sabotage we still won the trophy. Even to welcome them, problem.

Salary and friendly matches. grin grin

i wasn't actually referring to performance. I'm pained that Keshi gave that guy a cap when ike Uche and Martin were there. That singular act gave him the bragging right to claim Nigeria ex international.
Uche goofed during Afcon by questioning Keshi tactics...Keshi gave Martins the opportunity against Kenya and his performance was damn too poor.....compared Martins and Ameobi performance against Kenya and Italy?

He said it himself that he is considering it so many of this English ex players add Mikel and some nigerians ex players too they're good in criticising tactics and players but can't do anything reasonable if given the a team to coach

Our ex internationals are just lazy folks with zero interest in self development.

I listened to oshimen recently when asked who among his teammates does he think will be a better coach; he mentioned Troost ekong and to be honest I was not surprised because the traces are there
Who told you that ex internationals are lazy or do you think it's easy for black men in coaching world.....

Racoon:
Remember one Heroin - drug running crook that forfeited some $460 000 to the US government in a major drug scandal case in 1993 and fled back to seek a safe haven in Nigeria? When a leader engages in criminal activities, it sets a dangerous precedent, eroding trust in governance and fostering a culture of corruption.Instead of inspiring hope and progress, this kind of leadership only normalizes unethical behavior.

It sends a message that criminality and impunity are acceptable pathways to power and success. This undermines institutions, destabilizes the economy, and discourages honest, hardworking citizens from striving for better.

Under such circumstances, expecting the country to move forward becomes unrealistic. The only thing likely to thrive is a culture of crime, dishonesty, and lawlessness. It is a sad reality when leadership, which should serve as a beacon of integrity and development, instead becomes synonymous with corruption and malpractice.

What about Friday Elastic Elahor.
Wole Odegbami and Dimeji Lawal.
@Kog45 abeg what eventually happened to Dotun Alatishe, Taofik Malik, Baldwin Bazuaye, Kayode keshinro and Segun Fetuga.
I think time to rate our all times wingers cuz Elahor,Odegbamis,Dimeji Lawal are all wingers and don't forget we have Humphrey Edobor,Folorunsho Okenla,Adokiye Aimeasemeaka,James Etokebe,Felix Aladesanmi,Uwem Ekarika,Adeolu Adekola, Benjamin Nzeakor,John Chidozie,Tarila Okoronwata,Ikechuckwu Ofoje

Oh Segun Fetuga was a product of St Finbaars secondary school, finished his secondary school in 1986 and made under 17 team in 1987 and later captained 1989 team. But really surprised not seeing him making it further, now into sports management after went through Charton Athletic sports management tutelage.

Dotun Alatishe can be classified as real NPFL player cuz he spent most of his football career in Nigeria league playing for Stationary Stores,Shooting Stars and Rangers.

Kayode Keshinro was tagged another Yekini but failed to make it after left Nigeria playing in lower league in Belgium

Baldwin Daddy Bazuaye despite having father in Nigeria coach circles, failed to make it with senior national team but a very good player but doing well for himself

Taofiq Malik was a popular figure with shooting stars of Ibadan but I don't know where he is now
