Dem dey afraid... kicking against it is against Islam....It seems Ilorin people are govern by fake Sharia law cuz I have not see underaged marriage in Ilorin or possibly just using Sharia law to loot government money
DuttyChuks: I don't know if I should blame the 14yr old girl or not. But, let there be a revolution in the north, how can you marry a 14yr old baby girl and expect her to behave well. A good medicine from the girl! Case closed!
Revolution in the north?are you joking....when pedophiles are willing to establish Sharia in SW to cover their sins.
Haha...I no wan talk o but a prophet married 6 years old child and waited for her to be 9 years old for proper pulping.....na him Dem dey follow....in the same Nigeria, kai dated 12 years old child for two years and married her at 14....no wonder pedophiles want to establish Sharia in South West.
Seeing stupid comments here show that we are in for it in this country....hmmm Yahaya Bello that paid million dollars for his children school fees. It's well o
Bannedlargejr: You mean that, Aina is better than TAA of Liverpool? Transfermarket, epl pundits, statistics, OPTA totally disagrees. One thing about most pundits here is their penchant for displaying emotional biased towards Football Analysis. They don’t care about Facts, Data, statistics and just boldly assert incorrect information as facts. Aina is a good player and inform but he isn’t a better RB than TAA
Good, pls bring out TAA and Aina stats so that pundits here can discuss further....
SalamRushdie: So because my state governors have bleeped up we should pretend Lagos is okay
Nigeria is in discourse but you brought Lagos in now they are asking you about your own state...the issue is that the Yoruba and Igbo tribal warriors are cowards and selfish people I ever seen here on nairaland....to the extent of supporting crimes just cus of tribe.
solonnachi: I hear they are three candidates to be considered- 1. Former Mali coach 2. A German coach 3. A Portuguese coach
What is the difference between Finidi and Eric Chelle? He was sacked by Mali for poor WC qualifiers performance, then who is German coach, also Portuguese coach.....we are in for long thing
BoldBrainz: Articles coined for mass deglutition such as this, should be made simplistic and devoid of verbosity in order to engender harmonious understanding.
Deglutition and verbosity? and you want simplistic articles
elyte89: Nwakali has started making d first eleven …he might be invited for the next two qualifiers in march 😎
see our coach wey dey doubt Uche Christanus playing in La Liga but prefer division 3 player😁😁...well I no mind if na division 4 Sha just make midfield flow.

AndSunGorilla: Those numbers are definitely poor. Not sure he has earned any rights to be compared with Yaya yet. Is he really the midfield messiah we need?
Do we need messiah but players that would give us real balancing in the middle....Uche Christanus is one of the players
Sugarboyy: I have watched more than 50% of Getafe matches this season and I can beat my chest and tell you that Uche is good and he plays exactly like Yaya. He is not afraid of holding the ball and because of his height, body shape and ball holding techniques, it's always hard to dispose him of the ball. His only problem right now is the Getafe coach that keeps playing him out of position. If the coach is not playing him as a nine, he is playing him as a false nine and those positions doesn't suits him. The few times he has been played as a CM, he plays far better than his peers.
Wa gbayi bro,Super eagles need Uche Christanus now.....wetin gan abi no be Iwobi,Ndidi,Onyenka dey our midfield
AndSunGorilla: Those numbers are definitely poor. Not sure he has earned any rights to be compared with Yaya yet. Is he really the midfield messiah we need?
Just too early and pls how many goal and assist Iwobi had for Arsenal youth team before he made his debut for eagles.....we just need to integrate some promising young players into the squad.
Philosopher1979: How he plays and his underlying stats are what's important. I have not even seen him molly. So let's wait and see
Thank you....Mikel in national team gave us good performances despite no goal or assist with Chelsea....Uche Christanus I watched is not about goal or assist but a player that closes spaces and give passes with ease even in difficult situations.
yinkeys: He couldn’t make it to steady Inter Milan B list or bench you want someone still developing to start for the eagles We shouldn’t drop standards He’s not near Onyeka, Ndidi, Dele Bashir, Iwobi & Onyedika’s standard. Iwobi was already playing for Arsenal senior team, please state facts only
When Onyedika got his invitation na he never reach Dem level so tey Peseiro no trust the boy but today sentiment apart he is my number one....Oga na eagles midfield we dey talk wey be say five straight passes na wahala....Oga time to integrate players into the squad.
Alex Iwobi made his debut for eagles October 8,2015 against DR Congo in a friendly match played in Belgium and made his Arsenal first team debut October 27,2015 against Sheffield Wednesday in league cup and made his league debut October 31,2015 replaced Mesut Ozil at a stoppage time......so tell me how many caps Iwobi had for Arsenal senior team before eagles debut.
I don see your Okota team for Ire Akari ,Balogun,Afariogun,Olusesi and Ago palace way area na sexy football Dem dey play like Amokachie always saying....wait o your time is coming but how much you don pay Mujtahida for service rendering so far
komekn: You are picking out players who are unproven but showing potential and are just starting their careers.
I would have picked out Tim lroegbunam and Chukwuemka Carney at Everton and Chelsea respectively. Both exceptional player's in the premier league but Tim restricted by injury but recovering and Carney by senior international top players ahead of him at Chelsea.
Philosopher1979: OK oo. You will see when push comes to shove that we cannot just rely on only a certain group of players. Our opponents might just mark out iwobi, osimhen and lookman and we will need an x factor from the bench. Matches are won from the bench with a player with a different style of play. Our opponents predict us easily. Last year with these stars we kept struggling against minnows. We shall see. Coaching.tactics is important. A player with a different style of play will confuse the opponents. If I was the coach I will have a joker no one expect to cause havoc. We are too predictable as a team. By the nations cup final ivory coast figured out our midfield as too thin and just capitalised on it. So if nwabili gets injured what is next. If iwobi and dele bashiru get injured what is next. Aribo is better as a forward but you play him in midfield. On and on. Football is played on the field and not just talking.
I said our midfield needs more hands like Uche Christanus,Akinsanmiro and going by your post we are on the same page.....our midfield is thin and very predictable... Michael Nsien who is showing interest in coaching eagles said it all, failing to dominate midfield against smaller countries is crazy and not acceptable.I think fixing things up in the middle we help us......Nwabili cover should be in NPFL since Okoye is out injured.
to qualify for the world cup we should not rely 100% on the usual suspects. We should try very young players, players outside the top 5 leagues of Europe, okayers in good african leagues ets. Players like sodiq awijoola in Egypt, ebenezer akinsanmiro, xhuba akpom will help us. Injuries, loss of form and disciplinary issues may affect our main players performance. We may need someone like sodiq awujola to score two goals that will make us defeat South africa in johannesburg. Experienced players like ighalo should not be left out and okayers from the Nigerian league. This is why I called it the year if Sunday mbah. Some underrated player may be the one that will help us like Sunday mbah did in 2013.
Philosopher1979 this is not you abi na Xmas booze 😄.....the only issue with eagles is just to get midfield working and you see us in WC
Michael Nsien just said what we have been saying here...we don't dominate play even against Africa minnows, our Afcon style of play expose us more, yes we reached final.......well I will not appoint Nsien based on his experience so far, eagles is too big,I will rather go for Amunike than Nsien but if NFF technical department believes he can do it,no wahala, results will prove every coach right or wrong
