Napoleon55: Okocha is unarguably the Nigeria's most skillful player of all time.
Obodo and Yahaya probably might be more skill than King Kanu, but let me just rank him higher on this list.
Top 10 Nigeria most skillful players:
1.Jay Jay Okocha 2.Kanu Nwakwor 3.Christien Obodo 4.Musa Yahaya 5.John Utaka 6.Rabiu Ibrahim 7.Chidi Ordia 8.Etim Esim 9.Samson Siasia 10.Osaze Odemwingie
Did not watch Etim, but made the list for his popularity. Musa Yahaya and Rabiu Ibrahim might not have made it to super eagles, but they were very skillful.
Completing the top 15, In no particular order are:
Samuel Chukwueze Victor Boniface Solomon Okoronkwo Pius Ikedia Chinedu Ogbuke
The list excludes players from early '90s down ....and James Obiora no dey your list |

I can talk of okocha dribbling/ one on one take on, holding the ball well, good at free kick, passing the ball well, long range shots..Those are exceptional skills and I will pick him ahead of Kanu Yes in all it's Jay Jay Okocha, anything to talk him down na theory o...practical Okocha na baba,APOTY or no APOTY Okocha is Super eagles all time best player |

TheGoodJoe: First of all, my point on Libya was about an NFF internal administrative/diplomatic issue, which I saw lapses and believe we can do better. It has nothing to do with the actions of Libya. If you can understand the bolded, you will know that CAF ruling has no relation to my point made.
My point was that we could be more diplomatic and assisting. CAF ruling was on the poor treatment metted out on us by Libya.
How can you relate them?
On Chelle's case, NFF announced Mc Oran's coach as ours, when he has not terminated his contract with them. How you can't see something wrong in that is also baffling.
Unless there is information missing, Eric Chelle is still Mc Oran's coach. He has not terminated his contract with them and he has not signed for us. Why is the NFF announcing him as our coach? They should have concluded with all parties, Chelle sign the contract, then announce him. Everything centered on the clause.... without that clause NFF would not have made the announcement. |

We could apply this same question to the OG coaches. What had they "achieved as a coach" before their appointment with Nigeria? "achieved as a coach"was a replied to a moniker who see others as haters for expressing their opinions. |

Mujtahida: What was Westerhof's achievement before his appointment? Berti Voight won Euro for Germany, Lagersback took Sweden to the world cup yet both had forgettable stints with us. My point is that there is no guarantee for anything oo. Known or unknown quantity as a coach is a matter of who comes in and performs. What has he achieved in my context is that people have every right to express their opinions on him.....no one should be seen as hater cuz of Chelle |

TheGoodJoe: Nothing vindicated NFF. Libya was guilty from the start and I never in anyway attributed Libya's action to Nigeria. My point was an administrative issue.
Concerning Chelle, please it is not a perfect job. Things should have been ironed out with Mc Oran before the announcement. Diplomacy is not too much to ask. What administrative issue are you talking about....you accused NFF of administrative lapses on Libya lies and at the end CAF ruling vindicated NFF,so what's your point. On Chelle,do NFF need to iron things out with Oran?the clause is there to see and they capitalized on it,left for Chelle and Oran to sort things out. |

TheGoodJoe: I remember when I was talking of administrative issues with the NFF. Some people wanted to kill me. Now see this.
Does it mean no communication between the NFF and MC Oran before announcing their coach as the Super Eagles new coach.
It feels embarrassing to me. Don't let us talk much on this....Chelle and Mc Oran contract had a clause which stated 'a national team job he is free to leave" NFF administrative department did a perfect job using the clause, now left for Chelle and Oran to sort things out. Hope you heard that Libya paid heavy fine for maltreated Benin team, nobody wanna kill you here but telling you the basic truth about what happened between NFF and Libya FA and at the end CAF decision vindicated Nigeria, after that Libya repeat the same thing against Benin. |

I haven't watched his team and I don't know how his philosophy will bode with the super eagles team and that's why I haven't made any comments regarding his appointment.
People are expected to have their reservations but it is up to him to prove them wrong by producing performances that will shut them up. Thank you.I just don't know why calling people haters cuz of their opinions.....What has Chelle achieved as a coach in his career?nothing but here we are bringing different theories just to support his appointment Chelle need to prove he is the man for the job, nothing more. |

kettykin: The relocation wave is surging with intensity. Landmark Group has boldly uprooted and shifted its entire operations. One can only hope that the dominant Niger Delta-owned banks and oil giants will seize the moment, relocating their headquarters—or at least a significant part of their operations—to Port Harcourt. Failure to act now risks leaving the region vulnerable to the next toxic chapter of political neglect and economic marginalization as the proverbial cock crows its timely warning.
Due to numerous inquiries in the thread.PH was part an parcel of the Eastern region. PH was originally developed to evacuate coal from Enugu. PH was originally called Igweocha I love landmark owner. He made the noise and got the attention but what has landmark relocation got to do with banks, oil giants relocating and funny you still try to.play the card of Eastern region......Yoruba and Igbo QWERTY tribal warriors I hail una |

minfelix: is Nigeria Mali? even the quality players we think we have over mali, Chelle still came and chop our eyes 2-0… He is playing in group that has Ghana,Comoros and Madagascar…these are also decent teams that can beat any country in the top 10….Mali is Just 4points behind Ghana and Comoros with 6games to play…not as if he left Mali in position that they cannot qualify again…i hate hypothetically statements though…but if Mali had left him to continue…he will slug it out with those guys above him in that group going by their form at the Afcon…Africa is just too impatient with coaches…with the Ghana is doing mumu, Post Afcon form of Mali will thrash Madagascar and Comoros and give Ghana a run for their money. Eric Chelle qualified as table leader form a group that has 3rd place finisher Fierce North African Tunisia. oga lets allow him play his first two games(oh ue will even lead Chan eagles in february)…calm down, i didn’t say he the best coach, but he is decent and has some decent african tactics to play in hostile condition. His first 16games for Mali was a back to back winning. Even CIV themselves celebrated widely cos the match was a seconds away from PK shootout. Big question why sacked by Mali.... let's just hope he makes it |

WarHammer2000: Well, both Rohr and Peseiro had average RECENT records before they joined the SE but they achieved meaningful success with us.
No matter how good a cook is, if you give her 2,000 naira to cook a pot of Ogbono soup, she will certainly do worse than an average chef given a budget of 500,000 naira to prepare the same dish.
No matter how skilled a coach is, if he keeps getting hired by poor teams with average players, there's little he can do. Chelle has never managed a team as talented as the SE before. Now he has a team with elite players in the best clubs in the world at his disposal.
Let's see how his soup will taste. Keshi qualified a very poor Togo team and who told you Mali team is poor......Did Rohr and Peseiro won Afcon?fact Peseiro put us in this mess |
