TheGoodJoe:

I am more on his performance and TheSuperNerd was also about his overall performance. I don't think it is just about the goal. If not the talk of creativity won't come up.
My views arised from your comment here....

TheGoodJoe:

I don't think TheSuperNerd's point contradicts mine. He suggests Fisayo is not a creative player. That is because he relies on brilliant touches and off the ball movement to excel.

Also, we are not seeing his shooting technique often because our style of play does not create clear chances.

Finally, our style of play does not give enough room for his one touch style to shine since we rely so much on aimless long balls and less sound buildup plays.
I think your point with TheSuperNerd is different...his own opinion was Fisayo lacks creativity why you used our styles of play as the major issue.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Kog45(m): 9:46am On Nov 25, 2024
TheGoodJoe:
Scoring does not mean the style of play suits him. Our ball play is a bit chaotic and individualistic. Players that prefer tactical approach will not thrive easily with it.

It is not about scoring but Fisayo looking poor on the pitch. With a more up tempo one touch style, with fluid movements of teammates, we will enjoy him more.
My point is this, moniker said Fisayo scored and what happened against Rwanda?you cited our style of play but the same Fisayo did the same thing he did yesterday against Libya under the same style of play?....do we say style of play or what

Gbamsolutely 💯
BankyGee you gave two different contradictory opinions on Fisayo 100%...thegoodjoe said eagles style of play and TheSuperNerd said as far he sees the opportunity he shoots and not that creative, meaning eagles style of play was not the issue.....I remember against Udinese he was poor like he did against Rwanda

Style of play of the Super Eagles.
Style of play? against Libya he did it just like he did yesterday for his club but against Rwanda the same Super eagles style of play was the issue abi.... TheSuperNerd has gave us honest opinion on Fisayo

Hamzat "New Kante" Ojediran finally starts his first Ligue 1 game for RC Lens vs Marseille today.

Game on in 5mins.

Ojediran has made 5 sub appearances initially and scored his first Ligue 1 goal in their last game before the international break vs Simon's Nantes.

He is more than ready. Remember my prediction the first day he was mentioned here, that boy is making his super eagles debut early 2025. Among all our current centre backs, no one is as good as him when it comes to passing the ball.

Once he comes in, I'm moving Bassey to LB
Oga Chris,Onyemachie Bruno is okay as LB....Bassey as LB exposes him more.I think Bassey only thrives in 3 man defence with wingbacks joining the attacks and withdrawing back to defend

There better teams queuing up for his siggy that were not listed here, but from this list, my boy should hurriedly join Bologna.

When I read some people write about Tosin Adarabioyo I laugh because I know we have a more superior talent in a young Vince and Vince is ours through and through.
Are you saying Vince Osuji is ready for eagles?....watching his highlights on FCcompTV showed a very rugged CB and @18 he plays above his age

Very intelligent interview. Seems he is fully aware of the squad and his insight on Kelechi Nwakali shows promise. I hope Kelechi Nwakali has done enough to let him give him a run of game. Although he assured he has game time for Kelechi Nwakali.

Also interesting to note that in the game against Cambridge that it was a tactical plan that got Kelechi Nwakali in.

Let us see how it goes.
Kai na like this BARNSLEY FC come dey popular than MAN CITY 😄for this thread...Nwakali powerful o

you will only end up having nothing, when any slight 1-1 will make you rubbish the team…no need to sugar coat your aim of criticizing the team, the kinda criticism here makes people come to feel as if super eagles is Gibraltar 🇬🇮 or Georgia 🇬🇪 ….if this team wins another match tomorrow they will suddenly be the best….
una severe criticism makes them better per game…cant you people maintain their betterment for a long period wether lose, draw or win….your most loved football club will lose scandalously to one ekuke team, if another fan come to shade them for losing you will defend them as the best and refer their past games where they were sweeping teams aside.
Chelsea fans especially..just watch and see how their Nigerian based fans defend their failure instead of severe criticism…una turn super eagles to Germany.
This is Africa whether we play against 126th ranked team or not, we are familiar foes…every top nations experience loss within their confederation due to see finish and regular meeting of each other
In the space of 4 years eagles conceded 4 goals after 4 goals up at home against CAR,lost to Guinea Bissau,Rwanda, drew Lesotho, Zimbabwe, lost to Benin away and needed to wait till 80 minutes plus to score Libya, able to get 3 points out 12 points so far in WC qualifiers.....but you expect fans to keep on praising the team....haha in a group with SA,,Lesotho, Zimbabwe and Benin we are down, now back to our usual calculator

Eagles performance so far not acceptable

I just hope eagles turn things around, missing WC again oh not good

Okey then we should give el Kanemi worrior or Ikorodu united coach super eagle job cause both coach are doing well and their respective team were built from scratch also they came from relegation (NNL)
i got your point but it's insult to mention Aliyu Zubair where Amunike is standing, the gap is wide....most of our ex internationals are getting it wrong waiting for eagles jobs to kick starting. We all knew it's not easy for blacks in coaching job.

I don't know what went wrong with Amunike after Tanzania Job,reason why I always giving respect to Keshi.....from Nigeria under 17,eagles assistant under Amodu, from there Togo,Mali and Nigeria

Five youngsters in the starting lineup against Kano Pillars. I hope you are satisfied.

Case dismissed.
I have made my point cleared.

Suraju Lawal is like a son to me,so I know much about Amunike and Heartland recruitments reason why I take you on.....am sorry to say this,my brother who is a FIFA license agent based in UK is a very close ally of legendary Emma Amunike and they run things together very well regarding players recruitments......if you know Egbon Emma very well, ask him who is Jide Baresi.

My point is to debunk your affirmative that there are no NPFL players in Heartland FC or did you see me saying no academy players in Heartland?NO

Well-done my goodjoe
