if he was a local coach I’m sure they’ll say he’s collecting bribe, Rohr was regularly dropping Aina for Shehu, even though we had Osimhen and Taiwo he was almost on his knees begging Ighalo who was playing in Saudi to come back
Oh you forgot to mention Uche Agbo and Mikel Agu under Rohr….when the same Eguavoen invited Nwakali for Afcon 2022 did you see them complaining but Taminu and Alhassan are the issue now, even telling us is due to northern influenced, meaning Iheanacho and Awoniyi in the team due to Igbo and Yoruba influenced….I tire o

Uche Agbo who
Played no minutes but keep on getting invitations under Rohr, don’t mind them, they hate anything local……they don’t mind having foreign carpenter as super eagles coach.

I've always wondered who will score for us if Osimhen no play... Like I don't have any dependable goal getter in the SE.

Iheanacho dey try.
Chukwueze no try at all for goals.
Iwobi, not a goal scorer club and country
Onuachu - only goal I know is Egypt.
S. Moses. (impressive imo) maybe 1 or 2 goals.
Awoniyi. Big name. 1 goal in 7-8 matches.
Aribo.. After Brazil friendly, zero goal.
Ndidi.. Well, not expected to score.
Dessers... ⚽ 🥅 =🙆🙆
Moffi - - 1 or 2 goals.
Sadiq - -😭😭

Ademola Lookman says Hi smileyHe has scored about 6 goals in his last 10 apps for the SE.

Since the beginning of Afcon, he has become a Main Man. It's now if Osimhen no score, Lookman go score.

I hope Boniface can cook ASAP.
Yes Boniface must do what he does for his club for eagles,so far 8 appearances no goal….well Lookman in the last 10 matches has shown he can do it.

Other lads who played U20 WC twice and won are Joao Pinto and Fernando Brassard.
Even our own Nduka Ugbade played it twice 1987 and 1989.Also Fatai Atere who played under 17 1985 and 1987

Tunji Disu has built a stellar reputation for himself that he wouldn’t want to damage because he wants to play Wike’s script.

I guess that’s why they redeployed him to bring in a rogue Commissioner of Police that would do their bidding.

A Deputy Commissioner of Police leading rogues to break into a government agency and steal things like common criminals.

Please can we know the name of the ijiot?

Meanwhile, you will still fools here cheering the rogue police officers on.

One thing is certain, someday, and soon, Nigeria will be delivered from the hands of the rogues that have grabbed power.
Why are we always forgetting history, remembering now how Wike used the same Fubara to deal with Ameachi using federal government, now table has changed but here you are supporting two betrayals in Wike and Fubara….If you supported Wike during Ameachi tenure as governor then there is no need for this comment.

Maestro is back 😊

Kelechi Nwakali was arguably the standout performer as Barnsley were beaten 3-2 by Peterborough United in a Professional Development League fixture in South Yorkshire on Tuesday afternoon.

The former Arsenal midfielder has yet to make his senior debut for Barnsley since his return to England in the summer transfer window, with first team boss Darrell Clarke suggesting that he's not in tiptop condition having missed the whole of pre-season preparations.

Nwakali has been drafted into the development squad for a couple of games in a bid to step up his match fitness ahead of a potential debut for the first team.

The 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup Golden Ball winner was a cut above the rest during this afternoon's clash at Oakwell Showcase Pitch witnessed by allnigeriasoccer.com.

Peterborough United had a dream start to the game, opening the scoring through Joe Davies in the very first minute,
but Barnsley responded quickly as Josiah Dyer brought the game back to parity five minutes later.

In the fifteenth minute, Nwakali fired a powerful first-time effort from outside the box that sailed just above the crossbar after winning possession twenty yards from goal.

Three minutes later, he came close again to scoring his first goal in Barnsley colours but his brilliant freekick came off the underside of the bar and bounced away before the ball was cleared by the Posh defence.

The Nigeria international saw another shot from outside the box narrowly miss the target in the 39th minute.

Those misses would prove costly as Davies bagged his second of the afternoon at minute 42.

Nwakali, who took most of Barnsley's freekicks and corner kicks, was thwarted by Bilokapic right before halftime, as the Peterborough United goalkeeper tipped his curling freekick over the bar.

After Harley Mills doubled the advantage for the visitors in the 52nd minute, Nwakali won a penalty after he was fouled in the box but Theo Chapman could not convert from the spot in the 61st minute.

The former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles captain pulled one back in the 63rd minute when he collected the ball inside the box and fired a powerful shot past the goalkeeper.

Two minutes after his first goal for Barnsley, Nwakali made way for Callum West and it is believed that it was an injury-enforced substitution, as the midfielder was seen holding his hamstring as he walked off the pitch.

The 26-year-old is unlikely to make his senior debut for the Reds on Tuesday evening when they welcome Wycombe Wanderers to Oakwell in the League One.
Pls Oga Charles no vex o,this report is a bit insulting to this thread…professional developmental league…..don’t tell me you are taking a swipe on Nwakali😋

Let’s wait for his debut in the main team

So they F things up but they won the league. Okay
That’s the point but my goodjoe would like to stress you on simple analogy.

A team in the last 25 years won 20 titles and do we say the coaches are very good tactically or the team has solid development programs.

It’s sure Kompany as Bayern coach has the bright chance to win Bundesliga irrespective of his tactical abilities

The season he lost the title, he was not stellar. The title Nico Kovac won did not help him in the next season.

NOT EVERY COACH HAVE BEEN STELLAR AT BAYERN MUNICH.
Stellar or no stellar, average coach is guaranteed success with Bayern Munich.

Not a walk in the park. What of Klinsmann?

Klinsmann was sacked on 27 April 2009 with five matches remaining. His final match was a 1–0 loss to Schalke 04. Bayern were in third-place at the time of the sacking. Klinsmann finished with a record of 25 wins, nine draws, and 10 losses in all competitions.
Bayern Munich from 2000 till date only missed Bundesliga 5 times and won 20 times in the last 25 years but here you are telling us how tactical Bayern coaches are……and funny you singled out Nico Kovac when I asked you to mention a poor coach in history of Bayern but he won bundesliga and DFK cup in a season.

Kompany winning Bundesliga this season would not be a big deal cuz the club has very strong historical successes in the league.

I don't think the debate is guaranteed Champions League spot. Bayern will sack a coach who is not dominating the league and excelling in the Champions League.

So the idea that anyone can do it with Bayern is not true.
And what is the debate for you to mention Nico Kovac who won Bundesliga and DFK cup in 2018/19……

Nico Kovac.
As poor as Nico Kovac he won bundesliga title in 2018/19 and won DFK beating Leipzig 3-0,so what’s your point…..Bayern Munich is guaranteed champions league spot irrespective of coach technical ability….yes Tuchel but still got champions league spot with 8 losses.

he is too weak for men’s football. Hv had the opportunity to watch him play many times, Yes the talent and footballing intelligence is there but strength and agility is very poor for a midfield player of this era

I pray he works hard to maximize this opportunity cus after this I doubt any reasonable club in top European leagues will even look his way

Imagine a player like Onyeka after the burn out he had at the last afcon coupled with playing few mins for Brentford last season and in the beginning of this new season moved to Germany this summer and went straight into Augsburg’s starting 11

This is Tunji Banjo below,he joined eagles in 1981,playing for Orient in English league but now loco pilot in UK.

You're missing the point. My statement has nothing to do with the people you mentioned and the point you're trying to make.

Someone mentioned me and said that Dessers is not as good as the players who get called up. I replied by highlighting the Goal per Game records of those players, with regards to the Super Eagles, and compared them to Dessers' Goal per Game records in the Super Eagles.

If you had gone through everything I wrote, you'd have clearly seen that Dessers outperforms most, if not all of the players I listed. So how are they better than him in the National Team, if he has a better Goal per Game record than they do, despite the fact that he's played just 322 minutes for us?

That's the head and tail of the discussion. smiley

He had better recover fast and get back to form cause Nottingham are looking for a new striker next transfer window who is younger to replace him according to reports on their subreddit...he might end up in Turkey at this point cause no top club will risk spending big money on a striker with his injury records.
When times comes Awo will cross the bridge like other players.

I think you are over stressing this Awo talks….pls is the injury self made?and funny you labeled him WASHED as if you did not watched him in EPL…..if you don’t rate him just say it,nothing new.

We all agreed with you he doesn’t deserved last call up.I said it pages back that him and Iheanacho needed to be dropped

it's still debatable Sha. On sofascore his record for us is 7 matches 1 goal but then the only time he seemed to have scored a goal for us was during the Saudi friendly and they recorded his goal as own goal on their own site. on Transfermarket, he is recorded to be the goal scorer but anywhere else it was recorded as an own goal. Even if you look at the highlight of that Saudi match you can't really decide if it was an own goal or scored by Boniface cause the angle was somehow.
Boniface has zero goal for Nigeria but his form in Leverkusen always gives him the rating ahead of others except Osimhen
