Though i agree he can be a bit laid back like Berba, it happens cos he is one of the skilful playas in Inter but the talents in Barca would make him mellow and Pep is a no nonsense coach when it comes to training!

Yea we need a good LB as Abidal is a calamity player, only God made it possible for him not to play in the CL finals, only God know wetin for happen. As regards Eto, he is a very good strika no doubt but if the club decided to give him a downgraded contract it wont be good. I think Forlan or Villa would be willing to sign for Barca as they want to remain in Spain.

Well at times Eto hasnt been consistent, this is what caused him the pininchi unlike Forlan who has been rather consistent and bagged the top scorer. We need a new striker who is not selfish and has a great work ethic, thats why i dont like Ibra and his work ethic is zero compared to Eto's. Meanwhile Man City are closing down on him

But may I remind you that even playing attacking football does not always win you games.

As said earlier, me thinks efficiency is better than beauty.

The best form of defense is attack and playing attacking football always wins you games unless you play anti football against Barca which spoils the beauty of the game.

Its half time @ d mestalla and Valencia is ahead by 2-1, this is a difficult match for Barca but I believe in the ability of these boyz, we would come from behind and carry the day.

Just decided to drop this piece of news as regards a new playa we are about to buy, pls read

Barcelona have reached an initial agreement to sign Keirrison from Palmeiras. The forward could not hide his delight as he revealed his dream of playing alongside Lionel Messi.

The Blaugrana may still be on course for three trophies this season but plans for next term are already well under way and a recent trip to South America by Txiki Begiristain proved fruitful.

Talks between Barcelona and Keirrison's agency, Traffic, have led to an outline arrangement being made that will see a concrete bid set to follow in the next few weeks.

A price of €15 million was asked, however, the Catalan outfit are determined to see that lowered with a number of clauses and conditions related to the youngster's progress.

The 20-year-old forward has said that he wants to be successful and would relish the chance to play alongside Messi,

"I would really like to play alongside Lionel Messi," Sport quote Keirrison as stating. "He is the best player in the world.

"Since I was very young I have wanted to play… with a great club and, although I have nothing against any others, I have always identified with Barcelona.

"I saw a lot of games when Romario and Ronaldo were there and that made me dream that one day I would play at Barcelona."

Liverpool, Real Madrid and Valencia are all keeping tabs on Keirrison, with los Che tabling an offer in the winter market that was rejected by Traffic.

I think it would be a good thing if Villa can break into the big four though the dominance of the big teams would come to an end with the money that Man city has, players can be tempted to come and play in the Premiership. Even the big four feel threatened by this though they wont show it.Villa doesnt have the player strength(my word) to deal with the demands of playing in the UCL so it might become stressful for them, also i think this is why Barry is still with them until the end of this season, if they qualify he will play on otherwise he will demand for a transfer.
