I work in the airport. The tiles they are removing are far better than the new ones. All na in the name of awarding contract to chop. So many things are begging for attention in the Murtala Muhammed Airport, these looters will not fix them, they will only do the ones passengers will see. Have you ever experience a situation you checked in bags in good shape but when you receive your bag when you arrive, your bag is damaged. This is due to bad conveyor belt. If you go to the airside, you will weep for Nigeria. Things are terribly bad there. Think of the elevators, have you ever been trapped inside any of the lifts? If you get trapped inside any of these bad elevators, you will call your father your mother.
Two years ago, 358 million was used to renovate the airport toilets but now they are renovating the same toilets for 3.5 million each. Then multiply it by the number of toilets. Just to chop.
5 billion was used to install CCTV round the airport but none of the CCTV is working.
Three month ago, five member gang of armed robbers invaded the buereau de change at the car park of Murtala Muhamed Airport. They operated for twenty minutes, all the policemen ran away and the robbers went away with large sum of money in hard currency. Our CCTV did not capture the incidence.
In short, the only thing our government is known for is WASTAGE.

What MTN is charging in Nigeria is far higher than what they charge in South Africa and our government is not fighting this because MTN settle them regularly. Instead they are fighting BA and Virgin Atlantic for paying thousands of dollars to fly and to show ego and class.

Are you trying to create an impression that people voted in 2011 on religious ground? I pity you, let power get back to the North, it is then you will realise that Benue, Taraba, Nasarawa, Kogi, Plateau and Kwara are Northern States. As for the yellow card that caused this crisis, SA is right here. You yourself can come to the airport. I work there and I know much about it. You can buy the yellow card from the cleaners in the airport for N1000 - N2000 and these foreign countries are aware of these sharp practices.
For example, a pregnant woman should present a medical fitness certificate certified by a qualified medical doctor to travel. Some Nigerians will not go for these compulsory medical test, they will come to the airport to purchase a fake medical certificate from the airport touts. If this now backfire, your irresponsible government will be making noise provided a senator is involved sha.

Contest in 2015 under PDP?
Dont you know that what favoured him to win PDP primary in 2011 was that most of the northern governors who control the states delegates were seeking re-election. They hinged their coming back to power on presidency. That is, if Jonathan returns, they return but if Jonathan did not return, they would not return. But in 2015, they would have completed their two terms. So they can call bushit of Jonathan in PDP primary come 2015.

Maybe those KAI guys did not give the policeman his own share of the bribe. Police are not nice to that level.

Nigeria is a funny country. When a similar retrenchment was carried out some years ago, it was the honest, hardworking, dedicated and incorruptible workers that were laid off because they didn't have godfathers in the ministries. Those so called redundant workers are the ones they will retain because they get godfathers among the politicians, permanent secretaries, emirs and co. How do redundant workers get recruited? Look at this case, an Emir from north took some guys to the Speaker for job in one of the parastatals, they approached the DG and he told them that there was no vacancy there. The Emir insisted that they must create offices for the eight of them. Today, those guys are collecting salary from the federal government under that parastatal. Now if they want to sack redundant workers in that parastatal, do you think they will touch the Emir candidates?

I work in the airport and I work these NAHCO guys. NAHCO is short staffing and they are thinking of sacking. What a madness? The work of five people is being one by one person . Instead of employing more, they are thinking of sacking. I dont blame them, most of the top management of NAHCO are PDP members. They are running the company the way they run Nigeria.

Any other governors in Nigeria can do the same including the poor Kogi, Osun and Ekiti but the greed and selfishness of the politicians will not allow that. For a governor like Rochas to think of this laudable move, he must have sacrificed some benefits he and his aids should enjoy and that is the essence of selfless government.
Even Lagos with all the money runs into billions cannot do this except that the peanut Fashola is giving from those billions and people are hailing him.

Let me react to the reported meeting of Northern Emirs and the ACF to save Major Al-Mustapha from the hangman noose. Are they telling us that Al-Mustapha's soul is more precious than that of Kudirat Abiola they killed? Was Kudirat Abiola not a daughter and mother of one family? Where were they when Al-Mustapha and his Abacha terrorist group were killing and bombing people? Where were they when Abacha passed a death sentence on Diya and other Yoruba Generals for coup plotting before God later saved them?

The reason Mr Goodluck Jonathan lost the contest is that hw forgot to tell them that he didn't have shoes. He also forgot to get annoiting from Baba Adeboye b4 he departed for Addis Ababa.

As for Kogi, the meaning of the judgement is that all parties should go back to pre May 2011 electoral time table.
So, Sylver is still the authentic PDP candidate as far as the pre May 2011 gubernotorial primary. So if they arrest Sylver, that one is not a sufficient ground to subtitute a candidate from INEC unless pdp will not have a candidate and if PDP try to put forward any candidate, remember Celestial Omehia and Rotimi Amaechi case of Rivers State.
