Honestly, some people especially women are carefree. I have never doubted my husband's fidelity for once. Yesterday I went to Access bank to withdraw via ATM. NO cash. Went to the Banking Hall to use withdrawal slip. They said no cash.

I then told them I want to speak with the Branch Manager cos I want to withdraw all my money.

When I met her. I told her I want to withdraw all my money.

She said no cash. I then told her I needed cash badly. The she asked me how much I wanted to withdraw. I then told her 5k. Next thing she said was

"Will you manage 100...100 Naira Note of that amount. I quickly said Yes. At this point, they had refused people from entering the Banking hall. This was around 1pm oo. People were outside angry.

Madam went into her office and brought out OLD Notes of 100 Naira. She even said I should give her time to select the clean ones and give me. She counted about 50 pieces of old N100 Note and gave me.

I collected it. Went outside the bank. Saw crowd. Past them and moved.

I used the money to enter buses and buy foodstuffs yesterday.

Moral lesson
Even Bankers are giving out Old notes to people. Nobody is rejecting old money at this time. Infact old money now is like new money at this time. Anyone who rejects old money at this time will die of chronic hunger.

She claimed abuses in court but couldn’t reasonably prove it, so the court denied her custody of her children. She was permitted to visit the children which FFK always somehow restricted her from doing.
Rich men are not fools o. Giving out their money may seem very easy but they sure know how to deal with issues like this in a way that favors them.
Personally, I think your friend is tired of the man and wants separation, not necessary because of what the man did to her. It’s up to her to stay in the marriage and keep her children or leave and ultimately lose them.

I have a cousin who has been in an abusive marriage for the past 12years. Not necessarily physical but emotional and verbal abuse. She is totally fed up as her mental health has been deteriorating due to constant fear. Her husband happens to be a rich but mischievous man and she is worried about what the man could do should she file for legal seperation.

Her concern is that he may go after her if she files for seperation. Secondly, is it the court that determines custody of their 3 children(12, 11, 9). She have already found accommodation but hasnt informed him of her plans to separate. She doesnt want anything from him as she has a successful business.

Are there steps she must take to forestall any bullying?
