Mrsoft3:It's not about telling us what we need to do. Nigerians eat local rice a lot. Majority of Nigerians eat local rice today, that's for those than can afford good local rice. When you say "we need to start eating local rice" you give them impression that the whole of Nigeria markets are saturated with local rice that nobody wants to buy. Experience285:My landlady did that once. Knocked on my door and opened before I could say a word. I told her to go out and wait until I open the door for her. She asked me why and I asked her what if I was with a woman. She said "you and I know that you don't being women home" she wasn't even sorry, she was laughing the whole time. Anyways, she didn't go out as instructed but she has not repeated the mistake again. My male friends are on a different level, one of them will enter without knocking and will come into the bedroom if I am not in the sitting room. Punishment is necessary but with the level of frustration in Nigeria today, most teacher no longer punish to correct but to vent. Back in our days, our parents would take us to the school to tell the teachers to beat us if we misbehaved. It worked, because with your father's backing, the teachers would flog you whenever you misbehaved but the punishment was hardly severe. Just strokes of the cane on your palms. Sometimes when we done over do do  , we would be made to pick the pin, do frog jump etc and I must say that the punishments were well deserved. But the story today is different so if my child returns home with blood stained clothes or if I see ripe avocado colored marks on their body, I am going to the school to the warn the teacher. 1 Like |

Sunday Igbo is incarcerated in far a way Benin for saying that Nigeria will divide. Nigeria police and military killed millions of Igbos during the war, thousands before and thousands afterwards simply because they want Nigeria to divide and you think what IPOB did to this man is the worst evil? How can you stand in the midst of a group of people and tell them that what they're dying for will not come? What's sort of senselessness is that? You can not tell a woman who her own people and in laws have treated badly because she doesn't have a child, you cannot tell such a woman that she will never have a child and expect her to watch you walk away.
