With all due consideration and sence of responsibility, I submit that till next year when you do the introduction, she is still in circulation.

So.... Deal with that and be guided. Bitter, but that's the truth.

Reason: You are still a boy friend in serious relationship, other boyfriends will still be there cos till you persinalise her, your girlfriend is still their girlfriend and vise versa.

Face the bitter truth.

Giving my girlfriend money or paying her school fees does not mean I lose...it is my money and I will spend it the way I like.

Questions for you:

1. Have you given her any engagement ring?

2. Have you ever introduced yourself to her parents?

3. If yes!, then, as what?

Guy get it straight..

Any girl you've not paid her bride price is in circulation and suitors or boyfriends are free to make advances at her.

What ever expression of love you've shown her, materially and otherwise, is and remains a gift!

As far as law and custom is concerned, you have little or no claim on her.

So, do the needful and claim her, else, drink chill pill and you'll be fine.

I had no idea it was also an insult...

Kemi was just hailing the tribe grin

Be better informed next time. Igbo kwenu is a greeting meant to crave audience of your listeners as a form of mass greeting.

No one is hailing anyone when greeting is the motive.

Politics / Re: Abike Dabiri, Ohaneze Ndigbo Condemn Attack On Sen. Ekweremadu In Germany by Konki: 8:05am On Aug 18, 2019
Tmania:
The chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has condemned the attack on the former deputy senate president, and a serving senator, Ike Ekweremadu at the 2nd Annual Igbo cultural festival in Nuremberg, Germany.

In a statement on Saturday, Dabiri said the incident was an embarrassment to the country and called on the German government and law enforcement agencies to ensure that the perpetrators were made to face full consequences for their actions.

She said that it was shameful and pathetic that an event which was put together by Ndigbo community in Germany and whose members comprised of the majority of Nigerians living in Germany, to amongst other things provide a forum for the Diasporans and various stakeholders to network and facilitate a better cooperation between German and Nigerian businesses, ended up in such a disgraceful manner.

She appealed to Nigerians to be of good behavior wherever they found themselves because such incidents had the capacity to tarnish the image of the country.

Meanwhile the Igbo apex socio-cultural organization, Ohaneze Ndigbo also expressed shock over the incident and asked Germany law enforcement agency to fish out the perpetrators.

A statement by the president-general of Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide, Dr. Nnia Nwodo, described the action as 'un-Igbo' and lamented that Ekweremadu who had always been in the forefront of fighting Igbo cause did not deserve the kind of treatment meted out to him by the pro-Biafra agitators.

He said, "The assault on Ekweremadu by Igbos in Germany, described as IPOB, is disappointing, grotesque and dangerous for Igbo solidarity.

This violent, rude, impertinent, divisive and discourteous style of IPOB or IPOB instigated miscreants is damaging to our cause.

It strengthens the case of those who describe them as terrorists and weakens our case against the infringement of our fundamental human rights.

"Ekweremadu negotiated the sureties and securities for Nnamdi Kanu’s release on bail. He does not deserve this picketing and disgrace.

A disgrace to him is a disgrace to Igbo race. Whilst I condemn the attack on our revered son and leader, I call on the law enforcement agencies in Germany to bring to book the perpetrators of this despicable act. It is un-Igbo. It is disgraceful.

"A region that survived bombardment from both UK, Russian and Arab military forces for 3 years, survived Buhari’s disastrous 4 years, will not stop surviving because of political positions.

Let your ignorance not swallow you.

In Nigeria's poverty index, South-East is the lowest with 26% while Buhari’s North West is the highest with 75%, Ahmed Lawan's North East, 72%.

These figures are what should form the core of every political discourse in Nigeria but no, ignorant folks are talking about South-East not getting any position?

My town with no Senator is peaceful. You can sleep with your doors open. Can people in Buhari’s Daura do same? 46 days after a high-ranking Chief and Buhari’s ADC's in-law was kidnapped in Daura, there is no words about him. Can Ahmed Lawan sleep in his home with his doors open? Can the people in his state?

The Igbo apprentice system has created more billionaires in the last five decades than politics has for the North.

You won't survive more than me.

Like I wrote before, Buhari’s re-election is the worst thing to happen to Northern Nigeria. Isn't insecurity taking over the North despite having all the posts including security chiefs?

Politics / Re: 9th Assembly And The Calamitous Fall Of Ndigbo.. by Konki: 9:45pm On Jun 12, 2019
CowHard:

The inauguration of the ninth assembly which took place on the 11th of June has come and gone but the events and proceedings are still worthy of discussion.
Senator Ahmed Lawan clinched the Senate presidency with Senator Ovie Omo-Agege clinching the deputy slot.

At the green chambers, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila clinched the speakership position while Hon Idris Ahmed Wase got the deputy speaker slot.
However, the aftermath of the NASS elections meant Igbos and South Eastern geopolitical zone got practically nothing.

The proceedings also highlighted the unpreparedness of Ndigbo in the polity and politics of Nigeria. The shameful outing brought to the fore, the lackadaisical and politics of vengeance inherent in this part of the country.

While the eventual winners of the NASS elections were vigorously campaigning and canvassing for votes, our lawmakers went holidaying, expecting to be handpicked and decorated with the winners medal.

The two high ranking senator-elects in the person of the immediate past governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha and his Imo counterpart, senator Uwajumogu who were in a better position to clinch the elective slots were tactically chased away from the national assembly complex with the court while Ndigbo watched and cheered.

Before the composition of the NASS leadership, South East had three elected senators on the platform of the ruling party APC which are Rochas Okorocha, Orji Kalu and Senator Uwajumogu of Imo north senatorial district.
But in a dramatic fashion, two out of the three elected senators had their certificates withdrawn, leaving the region with just a single member in a chamber of 109 senators.

I'm not a fan of Rochas Okorocha and his #iberiberism governance in Imo state but the role he was to play at the red chambers supersedes whatever ills that characterized the politics of Imo state.

Politics calls for a serious permutations and calculations. Gone are the days of ethnic jingoism and victim mentality.
Femi Gbajabiamila toured virtually all the states of federation canvassing for support but ours was to cheer as the only options with a brighter chance got schemed out by the very hegemonic cabals.

We readily cry of being marginalized but in the truest of the whole issue, we are the architect of our misfortune.
The South east has never hidden their hatred for the APC led federal government hence the indifference in the imbroglios that schemed out her bright prospects from the NASS leadership composition.

To compound the whole scenario, the region presented, or rather nominated senator Ike Ekweremadu for senate deputy slot. This is a senator that has held the deputy president position for a record 12 years. The same senator left a bitter taste in the mouth of the ruling party when he clinched his position through the back door at the composition of the 8th Senate.

He was rousingly defeated by his competitor thus seeing to a decline in his political influence.

At the moment, Igbos are left with no strong political force and a strong contender for the 2023 election even if it's zoned to the region.
To Ndigbo, the composition of the NASS leadership is a mere jamboree but to others, it's a warm up to the next general elections.

The dearth of politics of alignment has made the region to be more or less onlookers in the leadership composition of the federation.
At a point, we claim not be interested in the politics of the country but before one says jack, we are back crying of being marginalized.

The South west aligned, lobbied and were rewarded with ministerial portfolios despite enjoying the vice presidency slot.
Raji Fashola is the minister for works, housing and power. Three powerful portfolios!!
Where went my brothers when the food was being served?

Under the PDP, we cried, wept and wailed of marginalization. Is there anything wrong if we give the current ruling party a try? I thought they said there's no harm in trial?
Igbos, while we fight ourselves to destruction, strangers are busy scooping and taking up the slots meant for us.

Odoh Ugochukwu writes from Enugu Ezike

Igbos are republican in nature.

Obasanjo, a Yoruba man ruled for 8 years. What remarkable thing did he do for Yorubas?

North has occupied the Presudency/head of state more than any other zone. Are they more developed (collectively) than Igbos,?

Political position benefits the occupier more than his people. Stop flying ethnic kite.

Firstly ask Igbo governors what they do with monthly allocations \IGR they receive!

One bad thing about Igbos is they swallow everything from their leaders hook line and sinker as far as you're not in APC.

The reason they don't criticize Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state despite his poor performances, but quick to criticize Yahaya Bello and Samuel Ortom of Benue state when he was in APC.

But the moment Ortom decamped to PDP no more criticism i remember how in a day they open up to 15 thread about Ortom owing salaries and not performing but everything have siezed since he's now in PDP.

Imagine if it were Okorocha, Ngige or Orji Uzor Kalu that gave themselves for search they will call it all sort of name and abuse them simply because they are Igbos in APC, but since it's Emeka Ihedioha a PDP governor it's humility in display.

Las las Emeka Ihedioha 4years will be spent on social media, Imo people please accept my sympathy in advance, i know pride will not allow you people to speak up about the non performance of Emeka Ihedioha because of how you guys insulted Okorocha and said he didn't do anything and claimed Emeka Ihedioha was the messiah to move Imo forward and rewrite the history of Imolite.

The emir not equivalent to head of state. Its more akin to a lg chairman of anything. The letter was directed at Emirate Council headed by Sanusi because he's the head of the Emirate. EFCC goes after governors ask Fayemi.

A whole president in united states a fellow common law country was under investigation. These prominent figures should the agency do their work. If they don't find anything feel free to celebrate with bottle of your favorite drink.

Be that as it may, who in this clime comes clean after thorough investigation? Not even the one at Aso rock that claimed his asset never grew and remained same after four years with all travelling estacode.

Nobody is clean. Saying any politician or top ranking leader in Nigeria is clean is akin to ascribing virginity to a prostitute.
