pope191: Only Lagos inspect, other states doesn’t inspect. The thing self is getting stale and a way to steal. What’s the point when we still have unroadworthy cars everywhere. From a reliable source, Abuja inspects too. |

Pearl1910: Its only Lagos state that does inspection before Road worthiness certificate is issued. So d idea is if u have another state plate number u r free from that procedure every year. And its in the process of inspection they check if u have any violation or outstanding fines to pay. So if u can renew ur documents without going for inspection then it will be great. False sir. Abuja does inspection before RW certificate issuance. |

Pearl1910: For real?! Are u sure of this? Cos I know ones a car is registered in Nigeria irrespective of the state. Any re reg will be Change of ownership not fresh registration I think Readadream is right provided they have not changed the policy recently in Abuja; Wike effect. You are used to Lagos draconian laws Vikings should still have contact in Abuja if he is reachable My challenge is how do you handle the inspection aspect? Will you now drive the cars to Abuja? In all, I think you should stick to Lagos number. There are apps you can use to set reminders for each car documents expiry dates. |

Ceenelly: Good evening house, please i need help. My car is honda civic 2008 model. Last year when i engage my gear to either drive or reverse, the car would start shaking and making sound, it was later discover that the fault is a faulty adjuster belt which i change by buying complete belt adjuster but still yet the signs and symptoms continue so my mechanic advise i remove the adjuster belt completely which he did and bought a shorter belt. After this i stop experiencing those noise and the shakes or vibrations but my belt easily worn out and woulf be making squeak noise. So now have decided again to go back to my belt adjuster cos driving without the adjuster is affecting even my battery, today i bought a new adjuster and also the symptoms of the vibration when engage in drive or reverse resurface. Please house i am looking for a solution if anyone have please give me on how to stop the vibration when engage in drive and reverse, thanks Civic 2008 and vibration are siamese twins. Did you use the same short belt when you fixed back the adjuster? The size of the belt is VERY important. There is a reason why the adjuster is there in the 1st place which is to ease the difficulty in fixing the appropriate belt of the car. The belt that will fit the car will initially appear as too short when fixing it, but when you tilt the adjuster and roll the pulley, it will enter. You will notice the firmness of the belt. With good adjuster and right belt size, that issue should go. |

pope191: Here is ego tripping without being honest. My questions are so simple. I need to know your start out time, each trip and end point before giving you that flower. It ain’t hard, it’s a matter of choice, nothing absolutely new under the sun. What’s the point telling what you net if you have difficulty showing the trips? What’s the usefulness of such info to an average person out here? Baba pope, biko calm down. Bolt app is vulnerable, so there are a lot of hacks on it. I think it's deliberate from them to keep them on top of the game or there is an internal sabotage. I believe you know this, that's why you want to corner pearl. It is well |

Kollyk11: Good morning all Thank you all for the updateds, you guys are really doing a nice job here, pls I work presently with a bank as an outsourced staff and it is really frustrating,I am interested in being a driver with uber but I don't have a car,pls can u guys kindly put me through and advise on how to go about it,I will really appreciate a quick response cos I am really tired right now Thank you all Sorry about your experience. Every job comes with its challenges, e-hailing inclusive. Since you don't have a car, you will need to go for rentals or hire purchase. I recommend rentals for starters. You need to network with drivers for recommendations to partners that will give you a car after agreeing to their terms and conditions. Register with any e-hailing company of your choice. You can combine them as well, no penalty. Follow this thread and ask specific questions or state your challenges as you start the process. All the best! |

TheModerator: The idea of setting up a telegram group is to take the life away from this thread.
Someone whos idea of how the business works was flatly rejected here, decided to pitch his tent on telegram. He's an outcast that should have been ignored long ago. It beats me how some hardcore regulars on this thread decided to join him. This is a world wide web, whether people comment here or not is no longer so important, the wealth of information here will certainly live forever, no one can kill it. Newbies can always get knowledge by reading and scraping through a few pages.
To those scrambling for help, the major determinants to success in this business, is your body, type of car, energy level, determination and how smart you are (accepting less of short trips and non beneficial trips).
All that talk about telegram strategy is a complete hogwash. That's why they are afraid of telling you amount of fuel used and hours put in, these are critical factors in this business. They are more interested in show of dashboard. Driving from Okomiko to Ikorodu and staying in traffic for more than 14hours every day of your life is not a strategy you need. Time ,experience and where you live will make you have your own strategy and what will work for you, not another man's personal blueprint. Beyond your gbas gbos, I really enjoyed the last 2 paragraphs. The summary of e-hailing was fully captured. I love balanced objective. |

Princely01: Thanks so much for the kind words. I appreciate it.🙏
I was just wondering @BAZ001 claims. I'm beginning to wonder....these guys that drive Suzuki for moove and remit 56k weekly or 9,400 per day. And they are required to do 12 trips per day.
How much would they then eventually make for themselves?
When I compare that to a 40k remittance that I would be doing, And BAZ001 says 30-40k weekly after remittance wouldn't be possible in Jan/Feb.
What then makes the difference for these suzuki guys? Do they make less than 30-40 for themselves per week? Boss, like baz001 told you, try it out 1st with rental, if you don't have your own car. This work requires capacity and brain which are never equal compared to individuals. |

northbird: @ AOB, @ welz has done justice to it. One more thing, if you want the bonus , there is a section of the app where you can untick the packages you dont want to drive on. So you can untick "priority". However, priority is the best package, you are exposed to clients who don't flinch when it comes to paying for rides. Baba, no be lie I got a request (indrive) in phase 1. A very short distance, she puts 1900. I quickly parked to pick it before Glithronix (much respect) As I was about to pick, she has already increased it to 2500. Ehh! I picked, she accepted. Madam: Please, will you go to ....... after this trip and how much together? Me: I will, but let me check before charging you. I checked after getting to indrive destination and came up with a good price which most riders will decline instantly. Me: Madam, are you good with 5k, plus the initial 2k5, making 7500? Madam: I will round it up to 8000 Me: Oh! Increased my AC to 3, make I give Madam Moscow treatment. |
