sisisioge: I remember when he fought me over getting his name on my body....loool....I never get my pikin name, na him name I go get. No fa.
But I love tats.....got mine last February and I love it! Kudos to you bobo.
If that is you and your upper arm right in the pic, I can indeed affirm that your tats blend perfectly into your skin complexion and it's in one of the best body locations. What made you to do that kind of tat design?
BUT as a lover of all kinds of art forms since my younger years (I scored an A in my final year art examination in high school), I like to see tats that are still a bit smaller than yours (even abstract designs) on specific body locations for women. Just pure sensuous works of art that further enhance the beauty of the skin.
It's very obvious that the year is fast running and it would be good to stop procrastinating but start implementing your plans for a better 2026 from now.
Are you planning to relocate to Canada, U.K New Zealand, Australia or any other developed nation of the world either or study, work or tourism and you have landed properties to buttress your economic status and strong tie to your home country?
It is no gainsay that everyone needs an oasis of peace and comfort in a safe haven like Canada, U.K, U.S and the rest of the developed world to enjoy comforts of world-class healthcare, international education, world-class leisure and more.
Without mincing words, many visa applicants do believe that "fat" bank statement is the paramount document they need to secure a visa approval forgetting that proof of good economic status in the applicant home country is also paramount.
Though, it's good to have good financial banking status. However, strong economic home tie is one of the major key factor often considered by visa issuing officers most especially for non-immigrant visa applicants like visit, study, medical and so on. The visa officers are more concerned about the economic tie cum status of an applicant to his/her home country, a kind of strong home ties that'll pull him/her back after the tenure of visit or study visa granted.
Secuing visa approval to these developed countries mentioned above often times is not a fluke as applicants would need to strongly proof to the visa issuing officer evidences of home ties that would make the applicant return to his/her home country on or before the expiration of the duration granted the applicant either for tourism, study, medical and other non immigrant visa categories.
Some of the evidences of home tie are marriage certificate, employment letter, certificate of investment, child/children birth certificate, bank statement of account, etc.
Meanwhile, the top secret is the use of valuation report on landed property owned to butress the applicant finacial status and strong tie to the homeland. A valuation report is a document prepared by a firm of registered Estate Surveyors & Valuers showing the current market value in monetary worth of your landed property or rental income accrue to a property owner on yearly basis if it's a rental property and that can also use to butress source of fund on account as the case may be.
Though it is expected that an applicant should have a certain required amount that would cover his/her expenses during the stay, but a valuation report would "tell more" about the economic/financial status of the applicant in his/her home country that could appeal to the visa issuing officer in making a favourable decision about the applicant.
Let's take for example, a single applicant for visit visa to Canada is expected to have a minimum of amount equivalent to CAD10,000 (Ten Thousand Canadian Dollar) and an applicant was able to meet that and also has property or properties worth equivalent of about CAD40,000 (Forty Thousand Canadian Dollars) or more, that tells more that such an applicant is doing well in his/her home country and would likely not be a liability to the visiting country. To be more practical, imagine someone that applied for a study visa has say N45m (to cover tuition fee, living expenses etc) on account in a bank, married with children and has property(ties) worth N65m or more. Don't be surprised such an applicant may be granted visa while someone that has say N100m on account without any proof of asset(s) or strong home tie may be denied. A visa officer would feel more comfortable to grant an applicant with strong home tie on the ground that he/she has investment/asset back home, wife and children that would make him/her to return after the duration granted.
So often times, money in the bank alone might not guarantee you but other support documents like your property/assets valuation report would do the magic.
No doubt you might have documents like purchase receipt, survey plan, deed of assignment or contract of sale on the property but those documents can not give the current market value of the property as land appreciate in value over time. So only valuation report will State the current value. Land you bought five years ago cannot be same value in the present year and possibly you've built on it.
Even for Canada Express Entry applicant, proof of fund is one of the basic requirements for permanent residence applications. Applicants need to provide to Canada Immigration & Citizenship an evidence of enough mandatory funds to support oneself and any accompanying family members when landed in Canada. This is because the government of Canada will not provide any financial support for new immigrants and therefore need to be sure the new immigrant will be able to support him/herself and his/her family members and same goes for study, either in the United Kingdom or Canada.
The amount required depends on the family size and can vary from time to time and for study visa depends on the institution. Meanwhile, at the time of putting in your application you'll need to show that you have at least the required amount. However, you can also submit a document that shows that you have asset that could be liquidated to cash if granted for your application to be processed.
Now you may be wondering what type of funds you can use and what type of proof is required. Well, there are options which we shall quickly dwell on into details:
SAVINGS: If you have savings which is equivalent or exceed the required amount, then your bank statement (not less than 3months) is a good proof of funds and if your money is split between several banks, you'll need to provide details of each to add up to the required amount or exceed if you have it.
REAL ESTATE: This is what many are not aware of that money in property is probably the most widely used proof of funds. It is a known fact that people sell property/ties owned in their home country before landing in canada or relocating to anywhere else and will use the proceed or equity to establish themselves after relocating and if not for permanent residence, it's a kind of high assuring factor that the applicant shall return to his/her home country upon completion of study or visit.
The immigration office appreciate the fact that you may not have sold the property at the point you're required to supply the information/proof and has made allowances for that. Therefore, all you need do is to get a firm of Certified Estate Surveyors and Valuers that is "skilled" in writing this kind of report (cos some basic information that are to be included) to value the property and give a report stating opinion of the current market value of the property , such valuation report MUST be on the firm letter head, duly stamped, sealed and signed. The immigration body can then see how much equity you have on the valuation report.
If the property is on mortgage, you'll need to submit a mortgage statement from your lender showing how much money is owned on the property, then you submit a valuation report along with it to be able to see how much equity available to you on the property. It is assumed that the property would have been sold and the money in your account before landing or relocating finally.
Meanwhile, if the property is an investment property, a rental valuation report can be submitted along with your application to proof/buttress your additional source of income. Therefore, a valuation report is not just a document but a very useful one that could facilitate your visa approval.
That's a stellar resume of Rotimi Pedro. NTA should be at par with major news networks around the world (or at least in top emerging markets). Rotimi Pedro can bring that know-how into rejigging the NTA and find a way to preserve old NTA and NTV archival films, documentaries and more.
It's mad cool that we can still watch the crisp Harold Lyoyd's American silent movies from back in the 1910s and 1920s. The first time I ever watched Harold Lyoyd's films was back in the early 1980s and they can fortunately still get viewed on YouTube. "Samford and Sons," "Good Times" with JJ (Dyn-O-Myte), Different Strokes from the 1970s right into the early 1980s. Whoa! Just a stellar cast of sitcom actors.
Pastoshizzy: A very sketchy version of the biography of Rasputin. We have them a dime a dozen here in Naija as 'Keyrooboo and Seyrafoo' Prophets. Aimoye Wooli Rasputin (wey smell pass am) wey they service big man wife carry go stream go do outdoor join... Forget!
"Keyrooboo and Seyrafoo"... That's Fela Anikulapo-Kuti's evergreen style of pronouncing that religious denomination's name... Including "Selestical"
SATANICALLY666: The paternity test conducted by Universal Forensics Corporation showed that the broadcaster had 0.00 per cent chance of being the biological father to the children.
That's an interest-free loan facility right there BUT I can imagine the torrents of reactions to that move from some people of that State from here on out.
There are big married men and there are ordinary married men. You can't ask Ned Nwoko to pack the plates, can you?
So, Ned Nwoko will leave the plates on the dining table for two days in a row if NOBODY is home except him (in a WORSE case scenario)? Many of us men went to boarding schools, and did this plate packing while growing up at home before becoming self-made millionaires, multimillionaires, and billionaires... just generally wealthy men.
On the contrary, based off of instincts or reflex action, Ned would instantly pack the used plates for washing in the kitchen sink or the dish washer.
Beremx: It depends on when the food was served. If the wife serves him, she should be the one or the kids to take the plates to the kitchen. If he eats in her absence, well he or the kids should take the plates to the kitchen.
My son takes his father's plates to the kitchen if I'm not readily available. Sometimes he does it himself.
Chilipepper: Should a married man take his plate to the kitchen after eating?:Lady asks
If he's alone YES... If NOT and he's with his family, the order of family heirachy in an African family dictates that the kids, house maid, or wife (or wives), do that.
There's NOTHING wrong in a married man taking his plates to the kitchen for washing if nobody is around or his wife is indisposed. Period.
flexyrule: I got a training opportunity with an oil and gas firm in Lagos sometime in 2019. I resigned my job in Abuja and moved to Lagos.
Our office was in Ajah. So I got a place around Lakowe. One weekend I decided to check up on my cousin staying at Alapere. I spent the weekend at her place and headed back to Ajah on Monday around 2pm.
We got to the Landmark center axis around 3pm or so.. There was a crazy gridlock on that Lekki-Epe expressway.
I sat down at the back and held on to my bag firmly. Three hours later, we didn't move 300 meters. Passengers kept dropping one after the other, I thought they had either gotten to their bus stop or maybe were hanging around for the traffic to ease.
6pm or so we were around Jakande.. I noticed an exodus of people trekking... and almost all the buses were empty, while others were looking for the easiest way to turn back.
That was when it dawned on me that all the people I saw walking by were actually passengers that alighted from buses and were trekking back home... Omoh!
I jumped down from the bus, and joined the exodus of people happily cruising their legediz Benz to their respective destinations.
I got to Ajah bridge around 9pm, crossed over and got one Orijin bitters, crossed back and located the nearest transport company.. That was GUO.. I bought a ticket for the first bus heading to Abuja the next day.
That was how I ended my training with the firm. Lagosians are very patient and resilient people!
That bolded section cracked me up. I can just imagine the scenarios. The allure of Lasgidy for some is on another level and they refuse to leave despite the discomforts hoping that tomorrow will be BETTER, but for realists, they learn pretty fast that the State ain't for them and leave for sanner environments within Nigeria.
Segzy19: Wealth, prosperity and God's blessings are spread all over, not only in Lagos.
Lagos isn't for the weak... I moved my family out of Lagos after my two-year rent expired in Akoka. We moved to Abeokuta, and rented a three-bedroom flat for #240,000 naira per year for 5 years. Compound was large, gated, enough parking space, each flat with its own water storage tank with central borehole. I paid #650k per year in Lagos without these amenities like in Abeokuta.
After 5 years I moved into my own 6-bedroom apartment in a GRA in Abeokuta. My wife got a government job, and she easily does her side-gig which earns her extra. Of course, I had other enablers that I wouldn't have in Lagos cos I'm from Abeokuta. Children's school fees are not crazy like you have in Lagos. No traffic! No agbero wahala... Environment is clean and spacious...
I still work in Lagos anyway but I come home every weekend. I am lucky to find a place to stay for free in Lagos. For me, Lagos is the worksite while Abeokuta is home where I retire to by the weekend to rest, relax, breathe fresh air and eat fresh food...
I have a big compound to plant stuffs and feed my family. My children are growing in the right way, and not the insanity and insecurity that pervades Lagos...
Lagos is artificial....
I hope someone will learn from my experience, and adapt it to what suits him or her.
There is prosperity all over o. Find out what works for you and start now... No die for Lagos... There are abokis up north who are illiterate and will never have anything to do with Lagos. Yet they are super-millionaires... They do and grow their businesses up there in the north...
Even abroad, it's the same story with those who want to die in London instead of moving to other cities where they can live their lives in peace and balance
You made a wise relocation move. "Cutting ones coat according to your cloth" still remains evergreen and the key mantra for centuries. Indeed, a location such as Manchester is cheaper to live in than London.
I remember reading the story of a man who told Punch newspaper that he had to move his entire family and school-age kids out of Lagos State back to his home town in Ekiti State in the same year that the first economic recession during the Buhari Presidency occured and he stated that they all lived far BETTER than they did in Lagos. A lot of people call into live phone-in programs in the Lagos area to complain needlessly about the high cost of things (feeding, rent and transportation) BUT if they took the bold steps to leave for their hometowns, or cheaper States, they would live far BETTER lives with cheaper fresh farm foods just down the corner and more.
mercysamuelson: I was born and bred in Lagos where I lived for more than 30 years in Nigeria. My everything was in Lagos to the extent that even when I traveled to other states in Nigeria, they are never enough for me. But in Lagos, it's all a comfortable zone for me. And now, I realize that living in Lagos had really helped me to prepare myself for the task ahead to being able to live here in Los Angeles. Almost same way of life. Here is just like living in Lagos.
Well said.
It's indeed almost the same way of life in both cities of Los Angeles (in California State) and Lagos State... except for the earthquakes which Lagos hasn't experienced in recent memory.
Meerahbel: 🚐 Option 1: Buy a Mini Bus and Drive Pros:
Daily/weekly income stream.
Potentially higher return than passive investments if you manage it well.
You have more control.
Cons:
High operational risk: repairs, fuel, accidents, inconsistent revenue.
Time and energy required if you’re the driver.
Regulatory/ticketing issues in some areas.
Depreciating asset.
Recommended only if:
You have solid knowledge of the transport business.
You’ve done cost vs. income analysis (e.g. average daily earnings minus fuel/maintenance).
You’re ready for active management (or have a trusted driver with accountability).
📈 Option 2: Treasury Bills Pros:
Very safe (government-backed).
Fixed, guaranteed return.
Great for capital preservation.
Short-term options (e.g. 91, 182, 364 days).
Cons:
Low return (typically around 10–13% annually).
No early access without penalties.
Doesn't beat inflation significantly.
Recommended if:
You want zero risk.
You’re saving for a near-term goal.
You’re okay with modest returns and just want your money safe.
💼 Option 3: Mutual Funds Pros:
Better potential returns than T-bills (especially equity/balanced funds).
Diversified portfolio (bonds, stocks, etc.).
Managed by professionals.
Liquidity (can cash out with little delay).
Cons:
Moderate risk (market fluctuations).
Returns not guaranteed (depends on fund type).
Recommended if:
You want a balance between safety and growth.
You're okay with medium risk and don’t need daily cash flow.
You’re looking to grow your money over time.
🚨 Final Advice (based on your tone and urgency): If you urgently need income and have business experience, the mini bus could work—but only with a clear plan and backup savings for risk.
If you're not sure, go with a split strategy: ₦2M in Treasury bills or mutual funds (safety/growth) ₦2M saved while you research/test the bus idea or another business
Never tie up 100% of your funds in one risky venture without backup.

‘’Kwam1's apology on the airport incident. To err is human'' ~ Abike Dabiri-Erewa's tweet on X
Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa who is one of the iconic NTA News veterans from back in the 1980s was totally RIGHT in her short tweet right ABOVE. Comprehension of basic English language, pure bigotry, and knee-jerk reactions are major problems that I'm seeing in a lot of young people online and offline to be honest. Paying attention to little details is very important before spewing out disinformation and gibberish.
NOW, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has a good command of the English language being a veteran broadcaster and she DIDN'T advocate for Kwam 1 NOT to be charged to court, (BUT she and some folks online and offline ONLY emphasized on the fact that with ALL humans, "to err is human" after Kwam 1 made the apology video which seemed sincere). She wasn't asking for him NOT to be prosecuted and serve his 6-month travel ban (now reduced to 1-month) which I'm in total support of because he nearly got himself injured or even WORSE when the ValuJet aircraft was beginning to taxi off with Captain Ranti the female pilot in command . Dabiri-Erewa is also a notable Ijebu woman from Ikorodu in Lagos State (just like the Forbes-listed Mrs Folorunso Alakija) while the 68-year-old iconic musician and investor, Kwam 1 is an Ijebu man from Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State and he's the "Olori Omo Oba" (a prestigious aristocratic title in his Ijebuland).
It's ONLY simpletons like the so-called impulsive young man named Macaroni and those insidious NL bigots posting right from Page 1 who would read tribalist meanings to Abike Dabiri-Erewa's tweet. This is the same Macaroni who I read got rusticated from his Uni for unruly behavior. His reaction to that tweet was totally off. There's really a wrong programing with a lot of young people like Macaroni and these incels, IRRESPONSIBLE paid troll farms and more having low self-esteem and wanting to be applauded or validated with likes and shares online.
Dadzynomolara: Please what did you mean by Ghana is a league on it own with the ubiquitous Twi language and more?
@Dadzynomolara
I CLEARLY stated in my earlier post most of the reasons why Ghana is in a league of it's own... From newer real estate developments, serene tourism spots, newer 4 and 5-Star hotels, Airbnbs, to cultural vibes, etc. You can read it again. The clean streets for instance and the FACT that if you drop a piece of paper on the ground, or nylon sachet or banana peels on the road, an observant Ghanaian will tell you NOT to do that again and have you immediately pick it up. That's true patriotism and attachment to cleanliness. It's all about a new pride in their country.
Second, my reference to the Twi language simply has to do with the FACT that it's very sonorous to listen to. I've been a big fan of rap music since the early 1980s, so, I've listened to all genres of rap in different languages for over 40 years now. If you've listened to the fantastic rap/hip-hop music of the Ghanaian rappers Reggie Rockstone (who sings in Akan Twi and English) and Sarkodie, who raps mostly in his Twi language. You will get that flavor of Twi even though you may NOT understand Twi, but it sounds pleasant to everyone who listens, just like Dagrin, Reminisce, Lord of Ajasa, the London-based "AY" of the "I'm gonna make it" fame of the early 2000s, and more, have done maximum justice to rap music in Yoruba language or Yoruba mixed with English and/or Pidgin English.
Where in the North of Nigeria is this? Okay... I just watched the great YouTube Shorts with Reno in the ambience of his gym right there and that's the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano expressway (the Minna Junction of the Abuja-Kano expressway. The road has a fantastic reinforced solid base and would look rock-solid and last longer when completed.
That's a good one.
However, the cost of living is essentially what MOST of these folks on the street level are talking about and that can be achieved easily with CNG infrastructure deployment and a decentralized security structure. WITHOUT thess, there's nothing the Governments at a levels in Nigeria say that will me them happy. Self-interest is what motivates most people on earth. Period.
Softmirror: Reno already made it clear that he changed course the very moment he discovered that he was wrong about his various accusations against Tinubu. He said so after personally going to Chicago State University to investigate the authenticity of Tinubu's certificate which he discovered that it is genuine.
Let me bump this September 2024 thread up again as a reminder to 'Dapo Abiodun, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and other Governors who are still pussyfooting that the Enugu State Government has just launched 100 brand new CNG buses as of this week. Kaduna State Governor also launched new CNG buses earlier.
The mandate or sense of urgency to rapidly crash the cost of transportation through CNG and other renewable alternative sources and the cost of food items from the farm gates to the table is totally within the purview of these 36 State Governors who are closer to their citizen and NOT the President or the Federal Government in Nigeria. It's 1 year and 9 months to the end of the 4-year term. Period.
This is brilliant and beautiful, these are the sorts of forward-looking stories I love to see coming out of all parts of Nigeria. The terminal and CNG-fueled buses would crash the cost of transportation for folks in that State if properly managed as CNG is the cheapest fuel source that's way cheaper than PMS from even the Dangote Petrochemical Refinery in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
Ogun and Lagos States looked like they were gonna be the FIRST States to mass deploy CNG buses with that viral video of Dapo Abiodun speaking confidently about it in 2023 and Lagos State promising massive deployment of CNG buses by December 2024. NOT one of those are in sight in large numbers. I MUST commend Lagos State Government though for launching 150 CNG 40ft trucks in late July 2025 for the massive "Produce for Lagos" program which is essentially meant to crash the cost of foods by 50% as part of the integrated food program.
Kaduna and Enugu States are full-steam ahead with over 100 CNG big buses here. Kudos to the two States.
He looks handsome and young BUT I have no recollection of him as it's been a while I watched a latest sub-titled Yoruba movie or any Nigerian movie for that matter. How is it possible that he passed on from enlarged prostate?... Except if it's a case of metastatic prostate cancer which is different from an enlarged prostate.
Tbh, an enlarged prostate situation can be very enervating for most men. The inability to empty the bladders and the pain is on another level until a surgery is done or there's a shrinkage from taking medication containing saw palmetto and more as active ingredients as prescribed by a professional urologist or certified herbal practitioner in China, the UK, Nigeria, etc. The regular intake of a balanced diet and periodic PSA tests would help to detect this situation from the age of at least 40.
My sincere condolences to his entire fam on the loss of this young actor, "Seun Confirm."
triplechoice: It's wrong to frame comfort's behaviour as unruly. That's the narrative which the airline has tricked your minds to believe.
She acted in self defence due to extreme provocation and that's not what it means to be unruly.
She fought against the injustice that was meted to her by the airline staff. She wasn't guilty of what she was accused and that was why NBA has come out to condemn how she was manhandled which made her to fight back.
Listen up!
NOW, with what you posted right above, you are sounding like someone who NEVER worked in the aviation industry like you earlier claimed! You have to always come correct and STOP padding this event any further with innuendos about an imaginary "self-defence" while justifying violence which is a criminal offence. Physical assault is legally a criminal offence worldwide! The ignorance of the law is NOT an excuse.
What rule of law gives anybody the right to physically assault aircraft crew and airport security people on board an aircraft and off the aircraft with hot slaps, blows and kicks due to a so-called self-defense? Every lawyer in online video news reports and podcasts that I've seen and heard discuss this topic within the last 4 days certainly condemned that act of violent, unruly behavior from Comfort but ALSO emphasized that the deboarding could have been done better. The so-called NBA dudes ONLY condemned the manner she was deboarded or taken off the aircraft by the airport security men due to the FACT that her boobs popped right out of ripped tops because she was braless (BUT Comfort Emmanson caused it all because she was violently kicking and resisted being taken off the aircraft while wriggling her body around), and the frictional force made her light top to get ripped off. These are ALL CLEARLY captured right in the 4 detailed videos showing detailed scenes on the aircraft and off the aircraft in Lagos which I've seen from credible aviation sources.
Just as I stated, it's good that a de-escalation of the situation has occured and the punishments have been reduced for all sides. Aviation security is very important worldwide and that's what matters to me and other members of the flying public. I'm done with this thread and people have to deal with more important issues in their personal lives. Period.
triplechoice: You certainly don't know what you're saying.
Where is the evidence she acted unruly and disrupt flight before take off?
Can you provide that?
According to you she caused disruption of flight, yet she wasn't deboarded in Uyo and arrested like Kwam, but flown to Lagos for arrest. Why should this make sense to any reasonable person is what I don't understand?
Are there no airport security and policemen in Uyo?
My friend, it's really unfortunate how most of have swallowed without questioning the heavily distorted order of event presented by the airline to support their maltreatment and humiliation of a regular customer.
Ibom air has succeeded in tricking your minds to believe that it' was immediately after she was asked to turn off her phone she started insulting and slapping the air hostess .
Ask them to release all the footage, especially the ones in Uyo so the public know the truth .
You're defending nonsense and oppression .
Modified. The reason I believe the airport security were slow in responding was obviously because the pilot wasn't in the know of what was to happen. It was the rude and power drunk air hostess who wanted to engineer her arrest after landing.
I know this to be true because I worked in the industry before. If the pilot wanted to arrest her or was the person who called for her arrest,he would have done so professionally by informing the control tower in MMA as the approached Lagos airspace of the presence of an unruly that must be evacuated immediately from the plane. If he made the call the incident we watched wouldn't have occured.
The control tower would have immediately contacted airport security and the police alerting them of the situation so that they position themselves at strategic positions, the tarmac especially, the arrival hall and the car parking space in case somebody was waiting to pick her.
But none of this was done and the result was the ugly incident we all watched that unfolded at the airport. Please you people should stop arguing what you're not too well informed in. The pilot couldn't have directed that can of sloppy and unprofessional arrest of an unruly passenger. No way.
Listen dude, I didn't want to respond to your post BUT had to because it was totally laced with extremely lame talk about my person. I simply wrote a feedback based off of the 4 videos from credible aviation sources. Don't transfer your personal frustrations on me! I've been a veteran member of this discussion forum for 20 years (since 2005) and I've NEVER posted what I know nothing about here or on other online platforms. I've always believed that "It's BETTER to sit on your hands and write nothing if you have NO idea about anything instead of making a complete ass of yourself." That's been one of my major mantras for decades.
NOW, there's absolutely NO where in my ORIGINAL post where I stated that the female passenger was violent or unruly BEFORE take off as you claimed. If she had been violent BEFORE take-off, she certainly would have been deboarded right BEFORE take-off in Uyo just like you rightly stated. She was told to switch her phone off by the crew but she refused and a passenger sitting right next to her was said to have collected the phone from her and switched it off. You even took my reference to how the airport security men in Lagos were summoned out of context. You ABSOLUTELY spoiled what would have been a great feedback from you if you had learned to be more restrained and CIVIL as a former so-called aviation industry worker as alleged by you and I will certainly NOT spare you a STRONG response from me here.
You MUST LEARN to read properly! I can see that impulsiveness and a lack of basic comprehension are your major problems regardless of whether you allegedly once worked in the aviation industry and you totally came off sounding off-putting with the silly innuendoes (especially in the last paragraph of that post). You made some very fantastic observations about aviation protocols in your long rant but ended up totally spoiling it with your silly innuendoes and knee-jerk reactions to my post. These would NEVER had happened if you had learned to read properly before posting.
On the contrary, this discussion forum is certainly NOT a faceless forum and anybody can claim to be anything but there's always a digital trail. I've gotten a former NL user (I don't see him use that moniker anymore) arrested and prosecuted from this same Website in the past and it shocked him when he got to know who I was and that I was able to track him down with Intel for prosecution. So your claim that this is a faceless forum smacks of ignorance.
Last but not least, I will end my post here and now because I have more important things to do. I do NOT want to engage in any further discussion on this overflogged topic as a de-escalation of this situation has already occured with a reduction in the license suspensions of Captain Oluranti Ogoyi and First Officer Ivan Oloba of ValueJet to 1-month and more which would enable all the boarding and airport security protocols (with the provision of tasers, handcuffs including training and re-training to be put in place) for the benefit of the flying public coming into Nigeria and within that country. Period.
Indeed, right from my posts yesterday, I too have stated CLEARLY that it's a "blessing in disguise" that the aviation and aircraft unruly passengers situations occured WITHIN 1 week, and it would enable the upgrades of all boarding and airport security protocols to be put in place with the provision of tasers, handcuffs and more to restrain future unruly passengers because it certainly will occur from time to time. It could have been WORSE if it was a terror gang that was onboard that Ibom Air flight with the slow response time of the airport security men to Comfort's case.
So, I commend your civil online responses and absolutely agree with you that the situation has been de-escalated and all of them (including the Captain and First Officer of ValuJet have been given shorter licence bans of 1-month. Kwam 1 has been given a 1-month ban from flying down from 6-months which I support and Comfort who was engaged in physically assaulting her own fellow women with hot slaps has been given a reprieve from jail. So, folks should move with other important things in their lives BUT future unruly passengers' situations MUST be met with maximum punishments based on the rule of law because aviation is a critical sector globally and safety comes FIRST.
iSense247: Below is the official response of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) to the viral video of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA, in which he claimed that Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola died poor and made mockery of his children.
It is expected that Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo will show wisdom and humility by offering a public apology to the millions of sons and daughters of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola around the world.
