ogododo: Some online publications, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Bayo Ojulari, has not resigned.
A reliable Presidency source on Saturday described the claims as “false and rubbish.”
The reports suggested that Ojulari was compelled by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to tender his resignation. However, the Presidency source dismissed these claims as untrue.
President Bola Tinubu appointed Ojulari in April 2025, mandating him to carry out reforms aimed at enhancing operational efficiency restoring investor confidence and making NNPC Limited more commercially viable. The President had also sacked the previous board of NNPC, including its Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, and board chairman Pius Akinyelure, as part of the reforms.
The controversy stems from allegations surrounding a $21 million (₦34.65 billion) corruption scandal. Civil society groups, including OilWatch Nigeria and the Workers’ Rights Alliance, have called for Ojulari’s arrest and prosecution.
These groups referenced claims that Abdullahi Bashir Haske, a detained associate, allegedly confessed to holding the funds on Ojulari’s behalf. At a press conference on 31 July at EFCC headquarters, the coalition accused Ojulari of economic sabotage, citing the prolonged shutdown of Nigeria’s refineries and alleged plans to privatise NNPCL assets.
The coalition has launched a three-day protest, beginning 1 August, at the National Assembly, NNPCL headquarters, and EFCC offices, to press their demands.
Additional allegations centre on a $21 million kickback scheme involving oil traders and pipeline contractors, reportedly uncovered after Ojulari reassigned fund collection responsibilities. This prompted a whistleblower to alert the EFCC, which subsequently froze the implicated account.
In May 2025, the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) had urged both the EFCC and the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) to investigate claims that ₦500 billion was not remitted by NNPCL to the Federation Account between October and December 2024.
However, groups such as the Coalition for Good Governance and Change Initiatives (CGGCI) and the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) have defended Ojulari, suggesting that the protests may be politically motivated efforts to derail his reform agenda.
They commended initiatives under his leadership, including real-time monitoring systems, audits of previously opaque contracts, and efforts to stabilise fuel supply, which have reportedly reduced queues at petrol stations. These groups have urged President Tinubu to support Ojulari’s anti-corruption efforts.
Critics, however, have raised concerns about alleged lavish spending, including a high-cost retreat in Kigali involving private jets, as well as claims of a difficult work environment that has led to staff resignations.
Nemere2020: The days of Bashir Bayo Ojulari as the group CEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Limited are numbered, TheCable has been informed.
Although there are reports that he has resigned, TheCable learnt from insiders that he has not thrown in the towel yet, “but only a miracle will keep him in office at this stage”.
President Bola Tinubu, who appointed him to replace Mele Kyari only four months ago, is said to be “livid” over security reports on Ojulari’s activities so far in office.
The NNPC GCEO has been a subject of money laundering investigations following the alleged transfer of millions of dollars to the account of AA&R Investment Group, a company with interests in energy, agribusiness, logistics, and information communication technology.
Abdullahi Bashir-Haske, the founder and group managing director of AA&R, is married to the daughter of Atiku Abubakar, the former vice-president.
Atiku is a presidential hopeful on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and is likely to come up against Tinubu in 2027.
THE BARU LINK Bashir-Haske, Atiku’s son-in-law, reportedly enjoyed regular NNPC patronage when Maikanti Baru was the chief executive from 2016 to 2019.
Baru died in 2020 during the COVID pandemic.
Kyari, who was the group general manager of the crude oil marketing division of the national oil company, succeeded Baru.
When he took over the reins, Kyari was reportedly unhappy with Bashir-Haske and subsequently cut him off from NNPC patronage.
Bashir-Haske, however, continued to do business with Ojulari, who was operating in the oil sector in various capacities, notably as MD of Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo) and later as founder/chairman of BAT Advisory & Energy Company Nigeria Ltd.
BAT Advisory & Energy advised Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited in its $2 billion takeover of Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC).
‘SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY’ Following his appointment as NNPC GCEO in April, Ojulari restored all the privileges Bashir-Haske had been denied by Kyari.
Some of the transactions between NNPC and Bashir-Haske were flagged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), sources told TheCable.
The anti-graft body has questioned Bashir-Haske, accusing him of orchestrating “large-scale money laundering through sophisticated financial structures”.
There are now allegations that NNPC was, perhaps inadvertently, funding the opposition through him.
“The president is livid with rage. He sees this as a stab in the back,” insiders told TheCable.
“A form of soft landing will be provided for Ojulari to exit, as removing him now seems to be too early in the day.
The Cable is a more reliable media outlet than those highly insidious online publications called Peoples Gazette and Sahara Reporters which are managed by purely IRRESPONSIBLE persons who spread some of the WORSE kinds of disinformation I've ever seen.
Just 4 months in office and this is evolving. it'll be appropriate for the Kwara State-born 'Bayo Ojulari to fully explain why he allegedly facilitated what is deemed to be MONEY LAUNDERING transactions with another man named Bashir-Haske. To be in such a high-ranking position at NNPCL, you have to CLEARLY have the power of discernment. Period.
Exousiang01: Just imagine how bittered the citizens of a country are about the government supporting sports.
Nigeria is such an unfortunate country. No country should have citizens like this. This is a curse.
The Obidient movement is a curse to this nation
When the government have the girls $100k they came out saying the government is spending so much on the African champions while civil servants are paid minimum wage I asked them to tell us about any country in the world where civil servants earn more than footballers, I am not even talking about footballers who just won a continental championship oh...
No country can move forward with this level of bile, evil hate that Nigerians have for Nigeria.
No people in the world pray for the downfall of their country like Nigerians as a matter of fact it has not been heard of citizens who pray for the downfall of their country until the Obidient movement started.
Nicely put.
It's pretty OBVIOUS from the insidious posts here and comments elsewhere that a lot of these posters are young ones still being feed by their parents and incels. Some others are largely part of the paid ipob troll farms that the "BBC Global Disinformation Team" investigative video report of 2022 exposed for spreading massive disinformation online and offline including beheadings and assassinations of their own kinsman in Nigeria.
100,000 USD per athlete is a standard benchmark for rewarding athletes globally. It's just the current NGN/USD exchange rate that makes it look like big money. I actually heard some random adults (males and females) via online broadcast saying that the money is too much, BUT it all boils down to envy and the pain that they can't have the same gifts the athletes individually received. These folks have to realize that NOBODY owes them anything in life because they have to be individually self-motivated in order to increase their income streams in life. Period
fergie001: The 2025 women's Afrobasket has ended in Abidjan with Nigeria's D'Tigress beating Mali.
D'Tigress trailed in the first quarter 21-26, but bounced back to claim the 2nd & 3rd Quarters (20-15) respectively.
In the 4th Quarter, the defending champions showed class beating Mali (17-8, winning with a total (78-64) points.
Impressive! This victory was predictable though.
The Nigeria-Senegal semi-finals which Nigeria won by a close 75-68 was infact adjudged before the game as the FINAL before the FINALS. The foot works and basketball handling skills were quite good.
Kudos to Nigeria, the girls and their coaching crew on this victory! NEXT mission is to take on the global stage beyond Africa.
It was quite infantile of Peter to have responded because the ORIGINAL comments by Governor Soludo weren't directly targeted towards him but to another politician in his Anambra State and he emphasized that it's the constitutional right for anyone to seek for re-election for a total of 8 years. There are NL threads such as the one right BELOW from February 14, 2012 showing Anambra State indigenes themselves massively criticizing Peter for his inneficiences with the state of bad roads in Awka and environs, poor environmental sanitation, and his inability to conduct LGA elections within the required time frame when he was the Governor of Anambra State for the 8 years. Some people forget easily that digital footprints exist online of nearly all their actions.
Now Obi is engaging in intellectual sophistry by saying 4 years is enough to do anything while referencing Abraham Lincoln who was the wartime President of the United States during the American Civil War between the Union forces and Confederate States of the South. Was 8 years enough for him to finish what he wanted to do as the then Governor of Anambra State based off of the massive criticisms of those Anambra indigenes on those 2012 and beyond NL threads and on other online platforms?
Sapeleboy911: I don't really get it. Is it that our security operatives are lazy, dumb, corrupt or all of the above. These videos has metadata, the kidnappers communicate not by hand written letters but with phones and sim cards with identities tied to them. With a good Osint these guys can be tracked, our security agencies have the tools, resources and every other thing they need. Is it because those kidnapped are just like every other person, whose death are seen as a normal occurence?
True that.
Smart technologies and readily available advanced tracking tools are the keys for miniminizing these security challenges such as kidnappings. It's NOT rocket science but FIRST off, the intelligence agencies need credible information and NOT families of kidnap victims running off to pay ransoms without involving the Police and intelligence teams.
With the impending constitutional amendments in Nigeria, the decentralization of security to the Community and State Policing levels would further complement the Federal Police and other intelligence agencies.
There's another YouTuber I saw in my timeline who is from Auchi in Edo State and he emphatically stated that those who kidnapped these dudes in the video are indigenes of Auchi and NOT some Hausa-speaking men.
Gotocourt: Ch3st beating as usual, hope you know containers are shipped to Kano directly from china. Northern state send their students on scholarship to china with jigawa and Kano state students topping the chart. Hope you also know the business of medication import have markerters headquartered in Kano and owned by Kano indigenes.
I will personally open the north east as that's my origin. Nigerians from all zones are traveling like never before, ask your sincere kinsmen about manufacturing and commerce in Kano 🤷. I contacted a industrial machines manufacturer in china, I was referred to their distributor based in Kano whom was a Igbo man. Many Hausas too have contact too and can speak Cantonese fluently, the Chinese use them as interpreters and are many in northwest and north central states due to mining activities. No dey cap carelessly
Chilipepper: This Nigerian couple's wedding invitation has gone viral on social media over what they plan to do for their reception.
What do you think?
There's no way the guest's won't be given food and drinks (as take-aways) as they leave the venue of the wedding. The couple are probably just trying to save costs on the rental of an events hall. This isn't the FIRST time I've seen such minimalist kind of wedding ceremony online in the last 5-6 years.
Those who can afford a reception venue can do so, BUT it's totally unwise to embark on that if you don't have the means just to fit into societal expectations. Period.
The highly IRRESPONSIBLE online publishers of People's Gazette MUST be taken down now for their persistent FALSEHOODS and spread of disinformation wherever they are in the world. The intelligence agencies MUST work with the Interpol to do this. These kinds of FAKE news can lead to the collapse of democracy if NOT totally dealt with once and for all. Enough of the political correctness from Nigerian President and his Government.
Their recent article claiming that their so-called sources told them that Bayo Ojulari was forced to resign by the EFCC boss WITHOUT the knowledge of the Nigerian President was totally infantile and a new low for journalism practice.
Nigeria’s D’Tigress are through to the final of the 2025 FIBA Women’s Afrobasket after edging past Senegal 75–68 in a tense semifinal showdown at the Palais des Sports de Treichville in Côte d’Ivoire.
The victory keeps alive Nigeria’s quest to make history as the first African nation to win five consecutive Afrobasket titles.
Billed as the “final before the final,” the matchup brought together two of Africa’s basketball giants and fierce rivals, and it more than lived up to expectations.
Senegal came out firing, jumping to an 11–2 lead within the first three minutes of play. But Nigeria responded with a stunning 13–0 run to seize a 14–11 advantage, eventually closing the first quarter ahead at 22–17.
The second quarter proved equally competitive, with both teams going back and forth. D’Tigress narrowly edged the period 21–20, punctuated by a buzzer-beating three-pointer from Victoria Thiaw — her first points of the game — to take a 43–37 lead into halftime.
Senegal roared back in the third quarter, tightening up defensively and dominating the scoreboard with a 21–9 run. The comeback handed them a 58–52 lead heading into the final frame.
chisomkachy: In a development reminiscent of Nigeria’s dark military days, top officials of two federal law enforcement and security bodies have abducted the head of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd, Peoples Gazette can report, forcing him to resign at a secret rendezvous in Abuja.
Bayo Ojulari was seized on Friday and pressured to sign a resignation letter by Ola Olukoyede, chairman of anti-graft EFCC, and Adeola Ajayi, director-general of the State Security Service.
The incident on Friday night was narrated to The Gazette by national security and law sources familiar with the matter, with some of them describing the operation as a coup d’état because President Bola Tinubu did not sanction it.
Officials said Mr Ojulari was repeatedly questioned about what he might know of Olatimbo Ayinde, a British-Nigerian oil businesswoman who has recently emerged as one of the most powerful forces steering the Tinubu administration.
“Mr Ojulari told us he didn’t know Olatimbo Ayinde,” an official said under anonymity to disclose the matter to The Gazette. “He also said he heard she was trying to control businesses at NNPC and he rejected such moves.”
Ms Ayinde, long known in business circles for her wheeling and dealing, was charged in the United Kingdom for bribing two former Nigerian oil ministers. The Gazette reported on Thursday that anti-graft operatives were ordered to slowwalk and frustrate a request for evidence from British prosecutors for use in their ongoing trial of Ms Ayinde.
Mr Ojulari was appointed in early April by Mr Tinubu, with the Nigerian president saying the decision was largely due to Mr Ojulari’s expertise in hydrocarbon as a former Shell executive in Nigeria.
Mr Ojulari did not immediately return multiple requests seeking comments about the development on Saturday morning. The Gazette has contacted the presidency, SSS and the EFCC for comment.
This is another act of disinformation from those insidious drunkards at People's Gazette. It's time for the Intelligence Agencies to move in with maximum force and very quickly to take down the owners of that online publication wherever they may be located on Earth before they do more damage to Nigeria with their relentless concocted stories. These creeps are NOT trained journalists at all. I want to see all of them face justice in court for relentlessly misleading the gullible public and tribal bigots with all their largely FAKE news. This PG online publication is even far WORSE that Sahara Reporters which also is notorious for publishing disinformation and Sowore NEVER issues a firm apology most times when these falsehoods are detected.
ONLY a highly IRRESPONSIBLE person and majorly simpletons would believe that a whole oil and gas expert with several cross-postings such as Bayo Ojulari of NNPCL can be summarily removed from office WITHOUT the President of Nigeria knowing about it. It's even absurd to say that a random mistress of the President is involved in his removal. This is a new low for the journalism practice.
Originalsly: I don't agree with many returning because of opportunities in Nigeria....but for the rest....I agree with him. Note .. he made it a point that he knows both sides ... most of us commenting know only one side and fantasize about the other. Then we go by what's been happening in the past...but he based his opinion on the reforms that are taking place ... some reforms that used to be termed communist ... never happens in a democracy. Use Trump to try to understand the kinds of changes and reforms that are taking place. Since when a US President can behave like a dictator ...firing people at will etc? Things have changed ..drastically. in the US ...fear of ICE. Why wouldn't Nigerians return?...not all ...but mainly those who are likely to be picked up by ICE ...and the real fear is to be sent and imprisoned in a third country...Southern Sudan or worse ...El Salvador? What I can say about the UK ... with their reforms ...I will bet the first set of returnees will be those in nursing....the ones who were recruited. They got the rug pulled from under them .....not all ..m but most. Time will tell.
This is the height of summer ....when the streets are usually filled with people...day and night...people be outside hanging out...sitting on the stoops ...children in the streets...but look at this ....basically empty ... fear of ICE....people locked up indoors...like COVID 19 lockdown. Many have left ...this I know.
Well said.
Diasporan folks can return to the Motherland if they've made and saved enough money (to reinvest in the financial markets or some form of agribusiness involving value addition, etc), after years of living in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada. Then they can fly back-and-forth if they are permanent residents or something.
Whoa! The reference to those ICE agents made me remember how this 2025, they really got dealt with by a large crowd of the Haitians in NY who rushed out from nowhere and swooped on the ICE agents thereby preventing the arrests of their fellow Haitians. It was the last option available to Haitians who didn't want to return to Haiti.
That’s the bold statement from veteran journalist Jimi Disu — and it’s turning heads.
According to him, the high cost of living, emotional stress, and tough working conditions overseas are making many Nigerians rethink their choices.
Disu believes that with rising opportunities and innovation back home, many will return — not out of failure, but out of realization.
His words? “It’s not all rosy abroad.”
Do you agree? Is home truly calling?
Let us know in the comments.

Jimi Disu (JD) was born in England back in 1955. He travels to England on short holidays sometimes therefore he knows first-hand what he is saying. He emphasized in the full video about the social dimensions going on globally in Europe and elsewhere (as nationalism is on the rise) and the desire to return to the Motherland to regain some sanity.
casualobserver: My friend it is clear ignorance, lack of exposure and bitterness is your problem and that of many others. Distribution hubs are rarely if ever In the Centre of large cities, they are almost always located in the outskirts of the city they serve. In the Uk for example, many of the logistic warehouses and distribution centers are on the motorways so that trucks can easily get to them without traffic.
Anyone who has been abroad driving on highways will have seen large distribution centers/ warehouses in the middle of nowhere.
Below are distribution centers for IKEA, Morrison and Tesco in the Uk, you can see they are in the middle of nowhere. The last pic is IKEA USA west coast distribution center in in the middle of the California desert. Apart from the issue of traffic and access, you require large acreage for distribution centers and land is cheaper in the outskirts.
You village idiots just post anyhow making fools of yourselves!!!!
True that.
As of August 2025, the project is about to commence with the launch of the Phase 1 of the Epe Agro Food and Logistics Hub as emphasized by the FIRST EVER female Commissioner for Agriculture in Lagos State, Ms. Abisola Olusanya in May 2025 to crash the cost of food items to 50% of the current value while cutting off the hoarders and middlemen, and the launch of the 150, 40 feet CNG-fueled logistics trucks in late July 2025 under the "Produce for Lagos" program is the icing on the cake.
It's good to read great news coming out of Lagos State and Nigeria.

Blue Origin launched six astrotourists to the edge of space and back Sunday, a 10-minute ride marking the Jeff Bezos-owned company's 13th passenger flight out of the discernible atmosphere.
The New Shepard capsule's stubby single-stage booster roared to life just after 9:38 a.m. EDT, throttled up to full thrust and smoothly climbed away from Blue Origin's launch site near Van Horn, Texas.
A Blue Origin New Shepard rocket carrying six space tourists blasts off from the company's West Texas flight facility, briefly boosting the passengers out of the discernible atmosphere on an up-and-down sub-orbital space flight. BLUE ORIGIN
Liftoff came eight days later than originally planned due to high winds in the West Texas desert, but the weather met Blue Origin's safety requirements on Sunday.
The hydrogen-fueled BE-3 engine powering the New Shepard fired for about two-and-a-half minutes, accelerating the spacecraft to just under three times the speed of sound. The capsule then separated from the booster and continued coasting upward along its up-and-down trajectory.
At that point, the passengers – Allie and Carl Kuehner, Leland Larson, Freddie Rescigno Jr., Jim Sitkin and Owolabi Salis, the first Nigerian to fly in space – began enjoying about three minutes of weightlessness.
The New Shepard flight profile.
BLUE ORIGIN Free to unstrap and float about the cabin, the passengers were able to take in the view through the largest windows in any operational spacecraft as the ship climbed to an altitude of just above 65 miles. That's about three miles higher than the internationally recognized boundary between the discernible atmosphere and space.
The capsule then began falling back to Earth and the passengers returned to their seats for the descent to touchdown. The reusable booster, meanwhile, made its own return to the launch site, dropping tail first to a rocket-powered touchdown.
062925-land1.jpg The New Shepard capsule landed very close to its booster's landing pad, but Blue Origin said it was within safety margins.
BLUE ORIGIN Floating under three red-and-blue parachutes, the New Shepard capsule touched down a stone's throw from the booster's concrete landing pad, closer than any previous landing. Blue Origin said that it was the result of "low winds ... and within the safety margins of our predicted models."
062925-land2.jpg Touchdown closed out a 10-minute flight to the edge of space and back. It was Blue Origin's 13th sub-orbital passenger flight.
BLUE ORIGIN Blue Origin has now launched 13 passenger flights since the sub-orbital spacecraft carried Amazon and Blue Origin founder Bezos and three others aloft in July 2021. The company has now launched 74 passengers, including Bezos' wife Lauren Sánchez, and four who have flown twice.
Blue Origin and its passengers do not reveal how much it costs to fly aboard a New Shepard, but it's thought to be more than $500,000 per seat.
Putinofrussia: Owolabi is the first West African or better still...the first African African in space. (not first African American or first black in space).
No, Owolabi Salis is not the first Black African in space. While he is set to be the first Nigerian to travel to space, multiple news sources confirm that Guion Bluford, an American astronaut, was the first African American to travel to space in 1983.
Owolabi Salis is making history as the first Nigerian to travel to space on a Blue Origin mission, but he is not the first Black African to venture into space. Owolabi is also known for being the first Black African to travel to both the Arctic and Antarctic within a single season, according to a press release from Blue Origin.
To be honest, and without making this a 'sales pitch', this is further powerful proof of why Nigerians should just demand the Presidency be handed to Tinubu.
Aside being brilliant himself, the man always finds and deploy brilliant leaders everywhere who are visionary and 'automate' processes and solutions innovatively and responsively. It was after the whole herdsmen and Northern farmers Beef and agricultural produce brigandage against Southern Nigeria that Lagos swung into action with her five year road map last year in a show the State has, by far the most driven and most innovatively responsive government in Nigeria.
I am sure many are not even aware of this brilliant road map which is an ode to responsive, innovative and solution-driven leadership. The sort Tinubu would spread across the entire Nigeria if he had the power of President.
In contrast we must demand the effort of Anambra and Bayelsas that Obi and GEJ, two men Nigerians keep touting as potentially good Presidents, are bona-fide political Godfathers of.
It is simple developments like this that are quantifiable markers that confirm Tinubu accommodates and deliver success per anything he is administratively or politically involved with.
When I raised the issue of identifying and mentoring good leaders, as a particular strength of Tinubu, and how Atiku and Obi lacked any record of it whatsoever, Obi fans went on the defensive to say Obi does not need to mentor any leader.
Development like this are proof of the saying that the greatest leaders develop other leaders. Nigerians choose wisely and pragmatically.
If we did not prioritise politics of ethnicity, hatred, religious bigotry and sectional discrimination in Nigerian then so much will become visible to the average Nigerians that would enable clarity of vision and judgement per selecting the best qualified individual to be President.
Lanrelagboi: UPDATE: Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu @jidesanwoolu today performed the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Lagos Central Food Security Systems and Logistics Hub at Ketu-Ereyun, Epe, Lagos.
Earlier this year, Governor @jidesanwoolu launched the 5-Year Agricultural & Food Systems Road Map (2021-2025) in April 2021, The objective is to achieve synergy in all food systems - from production to processing to distribution and preserved in a wholesome way.
The Lagos State Food security systems & Central Logistics Hub which will be built on 1.2 million square metres of land will have the following components:
a. Aggregation/storage facilities. b. Administrative offices c. Trading/Brokering facilities. d. Packaging facilities. e. Processing facilities. f. Cold chain/dry goods services g. Logistics Services/ trailer park h. Water treatment plant i. Health centre j. Fuel station/ Fire station k. Abattoir and lairage
This Food Security hub will create wealth for more than 5 million people, feed more than 10 million Lagosians, provide food for at least 90 days, storage facilities for more than 1,500 trucks per day to service thousands of operators per annum, and process large transactions.
I'm impressed with the foresight of Ms. Abisola Olusanya the FIRST EVER female Commissioner for Agriculture in Lagos State and the Lagos State Government in setting up as of 2022 the Epe Agro Food and Logistics Hub in Epe which is the largest in Africa.
As of 2025, the Phase 1 of the project is about to be commissioned with June 2025 originally fixed as the Commissioning month BUT it's almost set with the launch of the 150, 40 feet CNG logistics trucks in July 2025 under the "Produce for Lagos" program to fit right into the Epe Agro Food Hub and crash the cost of foods by 50% with the cutting off of the greedy hoarders, speculators, and middlemen who make food expensive.
One last thing, those foreign Fula herdsmen from the Sahelian West African countries MUST NEVER be allowed in that Epe Agro Food and Logistics Hub. All the cattle sold should primarily come from Lagos hybrid cattle and dairy farms and other contiguous states of Ogun, Oyo, etc. Enough of condoning the reckless behavior of these Fula herdsmen and enough of Nigerian States relying on Fula cattle for meat and dairy.
Mynd44: If the first one in Mushin can generate over 2 billion in revenue in the first 1 year, having 10 of these isn't bad to beat down prices and provide availability
Ms. Abisola Olusanya who is the FIRST EVER female Commissioner for Agriculture of Lagos State is doing a great work in the Agribusiness ecosystem. With the launch of the 150 CNG 40 feet haulage trucks for food logistics and delivery, Lagos State indeed means business with the plan to cut off these hoarders and middlemen which crashing food items to 50% of the current cost as Ms. Olusanya emphasized in May 2025.
Lanrelagboi: “We are building the largest food logistics hub in the whole of sub-Saharan Africa in Ketu Ejinrin, we should be able to open the first phase by middle of this year, We intend to have an offtake from States producing, so we can have large warehouses for Lagos to feed itself, we will also be commissioning two more mid-level food hubs just like the one in Mushin” - @jidesanwoolu
This Weblink right BELOW of the late July 2025 launch of the 150 CNG 40 feet trucks ties in with the entire agribusiness ecosystem plan to crash the cost of foods to 50% of the current cost in Lagos State (by eliminating the insidious middlemen and hoarders) and the Epe Agro Food and Logistics Hub for Lagos State in Epe, which is the BIGGEST in Africa, with the Phase 1 set for launch anytime from now.
The FIRST EVER female Commissioner of Agriculture of Lagos State, Ms Abisola Olusanya is doing a fantastic job to use disruptive innovation in that ecosystem and kudos to Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on the launch of those 150 CNG food trucks. CNG-fueled haulage trucks, CNG trains, etc, are the game changers to put smiles on the faces of the folks on the street level and that would see to the re-election of the current Nigerian President and other returning Governors who perform well. This is what I've emphasized on to reduce the total cost of living in emerging markets such as Nigeria even BEFORE 2023.
dre11: The Lagos State government on Tuesday hinted that it has commenced moves to introduce about 2, 000 Compressed Natural Gas, CNG, buses into the state before the end of 2024.
Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi disclosed this at the commencement of the 2024 ministerial briefing on the activities of the ministry in the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, held at Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
Osiyemi also said the state government is set to launch about 231 electric vehicles by the end of June, 2024.
According to Osiyemi, the state government is already engaging a private company on the acquisition of the CNG buses which will be distributed in two phases of 1,000, scheduled to be introduced by the end of 2024.
He explained that measure was part of efforts to alleviate the effects of fuel subsidy removal by the Federal Government on the residents.
“We are also looking at introducing about 231 electric vehicles on our road to complement the existing fleet of vehicles, using diesel and petrol,” Osiyemi stated.
This is August 2, 2025, a full 8 months down the road beyond the original target date of the end of 2024 for the delivery of the 2,000 CNG buses. Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has to kick this in with a sense of urgency. The focus by a large number of uninformed people MUST NOT be on the Federal Government in Nigeria. The reduction in the cost of living is within the purview of the Governors and their Commissioners of Agriculture, etal from the state levels and NOT the Federal Government level.
This is hoping they do that soon like they've done recently with the recent late July 2025 launch of the 150 CNG food delivery and logistics trucks for the "Produce for Lagos" program in the Weblink right BELOW meant to remove the inneficiences and hoardings from middlemen and massively crash the cost of food items by 50% of the current value, which is what I've always advocated for even BEFORE 2023 for emerging economies that have gas resources such a a Nigeria
They thought their victory at the battle of Zagrajas was an eternal victory (1086), but some 400 years later their butts got kicked in Granada (1492) for good.
True that.
From 711 C.E to 1492 C.E, these Berber Moors of the Umayyad dynasty who came into the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) from North Africa reigned supreme. But 1492 was the definitive year they got trashed out of Southern Spain by combined Spanish military forces and they fled right back into North Africa (Morocco region) where they originally came from. It still gives me goosebumps to think of what that part of Mediterranean Europe would be like if the Berber Ummayad Muslim rulers had NOT been defeated in 1492.
1492 marked the iconic year that Christopher Columbus, (a now confirmed Sephardic Maranos Jewish convert to the Catholic religion) based off of recent DNA tests as of 2024, set sail with his crew and discovered the Americas. 1492 was indeed a global turning point in human history.

There's a famous maxim which says, "50 is the YOUTH of old age." So, there's still enough room for men in their 50s to the age of early 70s to bump n' grind.

Tuface has also maintained his silence in the midst of all this turmoil, not telling it all for people to know how evil she was and still is.
I admire his courage, maturity and of all, his willingness to move on amidst all the media frenzy of people that never knew the truth but swallowed the narration of a non-victimised abuser.
Tubaba, I pray your home shall be blessed and I trust you to bear bountiful fruits (at least we know you are fruitful and your genes are strong).
Cheers buddy!
@OboOlora [the "ex-FGGC Ogbo..." "hun"] has pictorially said it all. I like these kinds of victories from perceived "underdogs."
Indeed, the 50-year-old dude's deft moves caught a lot of naysayers off guard. It was good to see his delectable, biological mum standing beside Natasha's mum (High Chief Gabriel Igbinedion's biological daughter) during the ceremony despite her initial publicly known opposition to her son's new relationship months back.
I hope Tuface (2Baba) makes the best out of the relationship from here on out.
