Abbylee:Please pick up your TRF first, there's likely no draw till Wednesday which you have the preceding two days plus today to pick your result. Why rush to create a profile now? On a second thought, creating now might hedge against tie-breaker should your score be at par with draw's CRS. |

Good Morning Good Fellas. As with most exams, some might be thrown off balance with result but please do not be discouraged should that happen to you. Some have it smooth by getting the desired result at 1st or 2nd trial while some might have to try a little bit harder. If you’re going solely for remark, please be aware that the wait might be grueling, during that period, you might begin to doubt your decision of not taking another test. If you’re going for reseat, try practice more on the component(s) you fell short while not forgetting to maintain your strength in the others. For those in Lagos who are thinking of remark, 10 weeks limit from today is Jan 19. Next available date if you haven’t booked is Jan 6 which means result will be out same Jan 19. You might want to consider going for the two options. Though there are other chances of you getting the EOR before or after the 10 weeks while there’s also a chance result of new test being withheld. In all, relax a bit, breathe, get over the hurt and decide what to do. It will surely end in praise. 19 Likes |

jummolami:Sorry to hear about this delay. I don’t know that much about LASU’s online verification except the little I was told during my visit. From my understanding, once you make that 10k payment and satisfied all rituals – convert bank teller to receipt then take the receipt to exams and records, the verification should be swift. When I went to deliver the receipt, I saw my wife’s documents (certificate faxed to WES, WES verification request and transcript I suppose) all printed, the receipt was attached to the documents right there in my presence and lady confirmed they would send the verification not later than 3 days which they did. I didn’t hear anything as though certificate to be verified first before responding to WES verification. You may wish to have someone do a physical follow-up if you’re not chanced. |

Beblessedbaba:This will work better if you mention your school, also your present stage and how long you’ve been there. Alumni of your alma mater or those in the know can then wade in. Verification for Unilag took about 2 weeks after I got the update “awaiting verification from institution”. Then for LASU, took about 4 or 5 weeks - that’s because 3 weeks was wasted without knowing I had to make payment for the verification. Got verified week after payment was made. Timeline for Unilag is something like; WES Profile created: 23/05/2017 Sent Certificate same day. Certificate got accepted three days after. Transcript request like 3 days after WES profile date. Transcript from Unilag got delivered to WES about 5th week from request. Verification sent to school about the 3rd day after receipt of transcript Verification received about the 2nd week after update of awaiting verification from institution ECA completed exactly 15 working days after receipt of Verification. Summary: WES Profile Created: 23/05/2017 - ECA: 15/08/2017. 12 weeks on dot. Summary applies to LASU too, created and got ECA same day but would have been faster if not for the 3 weeks delay. 1 Like |

TEECANN:Hi 1.) I don’t know the reason behind these rearrangement but from people’s comment, looks like both can be interchanged on documents. Then, I doubt you can effect that switch on the passports without making significant payment to NIS. The money might not be a small matter o but then a trial will either convince or confuse you to go ahead. 2.) I really don’t know about this as you will be getting points from PNP, remember there are select NOCs in most PNP programmes. The NOC you are changing too might be the deciding factor, if it’s in the demand list, then you may use your LOE to explain but if it’s not, serious something I think. Those with better knowledge will put mouth. 3.) Yes, I know I’ve read of at least a case here who received invitation from a province, was still contemplating of applying but then, ITA proper fell on him/her… Went ahead with the ITA and guyman must be chopping with Justin Trudeau by now sef. 4.) No issue here, you really don’t need employment offer if you get reference letter in the required format though our Boss will say still provide employment offer but I’d rather give what is asked which is the reference letter. 5.) Medicals, close to when you want to submit your application most people will advise. PCC, to be safe, can be done within three months to when you intend to submit, say about same time with Medicals and the PCC should take not more than an hour to get. 1 Like |

sweetrie:1.) I believe either of the two will work, but you might want to take caution in having the signatures on the ID and the letter match. 2.) When you request for EOR, you are given a copy of your bank draft or a printed receipt which you are to take back to process your refund should your score increase. You may want to insist on having the printed receipt instead of the draft's copy though. Once you have an upgrade, just take the evidence (draft or receipt) with you when you go pick your TRF, your refund will be processed but then we recently learnt it takes 3 to 5 weeks to get the refund once initiated. cc: Elfmann |

Boss13:I must admit, I like you the way you reason and would want to learn more from you no matter how you put the words... Your (recent) posts all have wonderful imbedded messages if only readers will see through your Military approach. I won't comment on the ADR's case as we know land documents including those showing transfer of ownership should be added in case one claims sale of landed property to raise funds. That said, I am not a party to having 3-6 million Naira left untouched in a savings/current account for months because I don't want to come off as suspicious by investing in CIC's approved form of prove, and to answer you... I would do exactly as I have said without fear, trust me. But then, let each applicant tidy his paperwork to the best of his ability. As you've said time over and over again, what seamlessly worked for me might prolong another's application. I rest my case. 20 Likes |

Hamiltondreamer:I go with this line of thought. Even if asked for updated POF, I believe you can present the Statement of Account for the period asked, then add the T-Bills certificate. Your statement of account will show the debit for the T-Bills and of course no corresponding credit to show the T-Bills has been liquidated. If you did 91days from the start, calculate for yourself what you have lost with the money just sitting ideal – well, your bank is silently thanking you for it though. Then imagine what you will be loosing for every day your application is still under review. Changing the POF does not matter to me so far you are presenting the POF in your name and in acceptable format. To dot all I’s and cross the T’s, you can add a one page letter why you are presenting T-Bills certificate with the SOA. I don’t think you will be penalized for that. My opinion. cc:Geebaby10 6 Likes 1 Share |
