Use an imaginary score - 8777 in LRWS. Aim for nothing less than this in your actual test.

i think it was the listening that hammered me. I intend to do it again.

I suspected your CRS is IELTS induced was why I asked. The listening actually hammered you, well at that! Aim for minimum of 8 in listening while maintaining at least 7 in other three components, and you'd be fine.

Hello Boss, No one asked you to withdraw your help neither was your intention/sincerity questioned. Do you mind stating your IELTS score?

Thank u, MI worry is hope they won't think it was borrowed since I chose " NO WORK HISTORY from the info I supplied, (the money has been coming monthly from my spouse salary so not a lump sum )
Hello Sir/Ma,

You worry too much, like Elfmann will say... Your worry get muscle!

Just to clear you, there's a section called personal history - this section applies to you and your spouse - where you have to fill in activities (education, employment, etc) for the past ten years. I am certain your spouse work history will be captured under this section regardless of your answer to him/her having work history. So, you application will still show your spouse worked or still working thereby justifying the money coming from him/her.

Please relax ehn.

Should the statement end on the day the application was submitted or today?
Money might have moved after you submitted! I'd go with six months from today.

Hi, I have answered in the bolded below.
Thanks
Hi,

I think you should re-present the Tbills certificate initially submitted, but add six months account statement to it. The statement will detail all previous Tbills (that’s assuming they were all done from the account). The three transfers to me does not look like a huge transfer but a critical look might suggest otherwise. As Vcole advised, you may add LOE but you have to think of explanation to give for receiving almost all your required amount. If the transfers were from friends, it might be safe to assume you got your bit from consummated deals.

The Certificate, Six months statement of account and properly worded LOE should suffice. Wish you the best.

Hello Cochtrane & All,

I'm a newbie and a silent reader, I would like to know if it's possible to be in the pool and get a job offer without IELTS with the plans to sit for the IELTS while getting to Canada.

Just curious, so I heard from a friend, He mentioned that you can get a job while in the pool without IELTS and on getting to Canada you can then sit for the exam. Also hat with the job offer alone you earn CRS worthy of 600 points which supersede the average score require for EE and with the Job offer, IELTS score of 8,7,7,7 would not necessarily matter again.

@vcole, @zandora, @optionese, @40manlappy, @glitteringstar, @kontagious
If I am right, employers don't have access to your EE profile anymore, so there's no way you can get a job offer by mere being in the pool. That simply means the 600 points you're eyeing is off the table, besides maximum points claimable from Job offers now is 200.

Enough has been said about necessity of IELTS, no point repeating those.

Thanks a lot!

If part of the bulk deposits with six months came from his parents for example, would he need to attach a gift deed or any other document to explain?
Hi Abbylee,

In order to put things in proper perspective, please state;
1.) Your family size.
2.) The face value of Tbills you presented, date of investment (and maybe tenor of the investment), your AOR.
3.) What amount was received as a lump sum within the last six months and when it was received. From who, family or friend.
4.) If you are to provide six months statement, will balance of subsequent months before receipt of the lump sum be significantly different to balance after the lump sum. In short, what’s the balance before the lump sum was received.
5.) How many days do you have to respond to the ADR.

Good evening house, plsssssss I have a few questions.

1) Do I need to fill form IMM0008 post-ITA or it is post-PPR?

2) If part of the POF is in the spouse account how many months statement of account does the spouse need to submit/what does the spouse need to submit?

Thank you plenty
Hi,

1.) I believe everything in that form is already in your eApr, I'd say you don't need it post-ITA. However, your PPR mail states something like you should fill the form if there has been a change in your family composition, or not filling might delay issuance of your Visa. Some have filled (even when family composition remained same) and got their CoPR/Visa, while others didn't fill and still got their CoPR/Visa within record time. Choice is yours to fill or not post PPR. But I don't think you need that form post-ITA.

2.) To play safe, six months. Also remember to do a cover letter stating you're combining funds in different accounts of yours and your accompanying spouse, you can also do a summary of funds per source.

GlitteringStar:
Done.
Thank you.

I am having a slightly different issue, WES received both my certificate and Transcript in June 2017 ,WES sent a verification request to my School which my school has responded , the first was through Email which WES acknowledged verification replied , it was shown on my WES account "WE received document from your institution" but after 24hrs my account status is now showing "We are waiting for your institution(s) to verify your documents". So I went back to my school Federal University of Technology, Akure to resend through courier which they did after I paid 7500 for the courier, the verification reply got to WES last week Thursday, WES acknowledged the Verification reply from my school on Friday which showed on my status again that we received document from your institution but to my surprise again , on Saturday when I checked my WES account my status was changed back to "We are waiting for your institution(s) to verify your documents".

It is really frustrating,
please do anyone knows the reason why ?
I have sent a mail to WES several times even when the first incident happned all they said was my school should resend which they did. I need ur help on this please , I have been on WES issue for over 6 months , pls I need ur candid advice
This complain is becoming alarming.

Try this; type out your complain stating all you've said, quote the tracking number for the verification, then fax the letter to WES. Remember to quote your reference number and maybe name. Your letter shouldn't be too worded, be precise and hit your message head on.

Posts as this should be resident on page 0, it’s lots easier referencing page 0, and going there to read up on things then when one has to sieve through hundreds of pages. Is it possible we replicate this on page 0 please? Newbies skimming through the thread might miss this piece skipping some pages while reading through.

Good explanation....

Amazingly though, there is a particular lady in part one (would love if anyone could refer us to the particular page) who only had almost 90% of her PoF transfered to her account days before the expiration of her application. She did not submit any LoE nor SoA and she got PPR in record time. Bottom line, pray for Gods favour as you strive to do the best within your means. IRCC has a set of requirements for all documents required, once fulfilled you are good to go....
#Godsfavourisparamount
#unpredictableIRCC

I am not sure if this by Wura27 is the post you're talking about, but it's something similar. About 67% of POF received within 2 weeks or so. No gift deed, no LOE provided.

Modified:
There's a follow-up post to the referenced post detailing how the funds was received. You'd see here the 67% was not received once, neither should 90% be compared to 67%.

Receiving 90% at once and not providing gift deed or necessary documentation is dangerous, to say the least.

Hi,

I followed the "discussion" this morning but didn't want to meddle because I saw a potential guy and babe this time around grin I kept an eye on the two both of you just in case some other spark will come off grin.

More serious matter now, true your score is your score and you got ITA with it but you might want to exercise caution in the sense that you might have erroneously inputted a wrong information which might have increased your CRS. If that be the case, you might use your LOE to clear the error just so it is not termed misrepresentation, I am not forgetting the fact that you would have still gotten ITA if the error did occur (that's even if there is an error).

I noticed a higher CRS after I submitted, though mine was just a point higher, I let it be as my application had progressed to an advanced stage.

In all, please use the CRS tool again to confirm your score is 478, if it isn't and the difference is significant, please try address the error with your LOE. If however you reconfirm and still end on 478, just disregard this message but ponder on the potential guy aspect grin.

I was thinking to go collect transcripts from ICAN but my 45 days deadline is ticking. It will burn out on the 25th of Dec (xmas grin I can't even crush chick bone with this fire under my bumbum)

ICAN transcript plus certificate and Letter of Good Standing from ICAN (will it still be in order to attach the degree certificate & transcript?- I really want to downplay it)

Everybody, your thoughts will be appreciated. These are just me thinking aloud... cheesy
Hi Teecann,

So I’m thinking why not just provide what is asked for, and stop worrying over this issue of degree correlating with work experience.

I think it is common knowledge you don’t necessarily need to have a finance degree before you can be ICAN certified, moreover people have career switch, your ICAN certification shows you have what it takes to practice what you claim to practice, so why bother? I don’t think you will be penalized for not practicing Philosophy.

Provide what is asked for and watch your application come through.

If your first degree certificate was requested, why would you want to add the ICAN transcript et al? If those were needed, your ADR would have stated so. Should the need arise to validate your work experience, I don't think it will be through your degree certificate or letter of good standing from ICAN, rather getting in touch with the organization(s) you claimed to have worked.

If you still can't get through, check back later today. If symptom persists till much later in the day, BC will consult you before the end of today, I believe.
