Newmum0615:Hi hi, I didn’t include bank letter. It was just 2 Tbills certificate, 6 months statement + screenshot from Oanda & EX. I used the SOA because I needed the closing balance in addition to the Tbills value, SOA was barely 6 pages. You don’t need the SOA to show debit of the TBills. The certificates will details they are from your account as the certificate bears your name (the account name), account number, date invested among other details. That’s enough to show it’s from your account. The 6 (or 3) months SOA you’d be providing will detail you haven’t liquidated the investments. A way to work around your multiple POF source is to do a cover letter saying you have funds from various sources, all have been included in your POF document but a summary is as below; you may do something like the attached table (adjust to your taste or whatever detail you want to include). From the table, VO already sees the total you have at a glance without having to sum up all your POF document, just left for him to confirm you attached the documents (perhaps their value too) and continue with whatever he’s to do. Try keep the documents as simple as you can. Wish you the best. 20 Likes 14 Shares

mcstan18:I was wondering how come that post gained popularity today, I think it's clear those who requested recently don't read. The same bro who posted your quote just yesterday shared links to 33 books. Yet, we see people quoting a post of over a week when links de few pages back. It's like someone sees another person's request quoting the post, then without reading further just clicks on the initial post and boom, makes his own request. Circle continues. Fanyeofori:#1. N71k+ is in order. 68k is for IELTS and not ECA. #2. Some edits are allowed, you can edit your mailing address and login details for starters. You may need to contact WES (maybe with proof) for other edits. #3. A number of ways. i. Rename the document(s) to be sent to show your Name, WES Reference Number and Degree. ii. Add a cover page (either by adding additional page to be sent or through the hellofax cover page) detailing your reference number. iii. Attach a very small piece of paper on your certificate(s) with your reference number written on the paper, then scan. Fix the piece on a corner but make sure no lettering or logo on the document is covered. iv. Combination of some or all of i - iii |

nairalandnewbie:Hi, I see no issues with #1. When filling name of employer, let her fill the Contractor's name. That's her real employer not where she's working. #2. Did she ever work as 1221? If yes, for how long? If under 3years and that will give her ITA score, let her use the reference letter as it is and move her 1225 to personal history. If the 1221 is less than 3 years but needs the 1225 to shore up ITA score, then LOE to the rescue plus all smslive2 earlier listed. If the 1221 is however 3 years or more, do same as bolded. 1 Like 1 Share |

You have come to the right place if only you'd invest time, to read. If you will, please read page 0 of this part 3, then do more time on part 2 and 1. You'd find the links on page 0 See that long story you put up there, it's simply put as you're 31, have a masters and over three years experience. You are a hot cake. Ask for update on your parcel, as well the tracking number just so you can monitor yourself. I wasn't exactly gentle when I did, I got a screenshot of the movement within minutes as well as tracking number. Try ask and see if you'd get a response. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

fantababy:I'd love to give you an elaborate response but today is not the day I have plenty time. You say you cannot compare IELTS and ECA but you can compare ECA and POF abi, weldonma! Again, you say you have not written IELTS, but you as well know you can input 8777 and then edit to reflect true position when result is out to show your 8.5,8.5,8.5,8.5... So what then stops you from using a pseudo score when you can always edit? I read through your posts then realized you'd most likely miss only one more draw if you do the right thing, why the rush? Since you have made up your mind to do what you want to do, we can only wish you well. I rest my case. 6 Likes |

fantababy:Ma, I try to understand rationale for equating ECA to POF but the thing just de elude me. One question though, can you legitimately receive ITA with a future IELTS result?. When you answer this, then do the proper equation to what you should have done than comparing ECA to POF. 5 Likes |

So, to submit profile, you fill in a past date for ECA. All went well. ITA comes 3rd January 2018 ECA date in e-Apr 9th January 2018 Nothing else to say o than Wehdonsir! This pseudo date of a thing can however be done for IQAS as those one are known to dispatch ECA about a month after completion. If you're lucky, ECA report date will be before ITA date. 2 Likes |

Truthfully, you shouldn't even read the over 80pages but read the over 500 pages of Part 2 and over 800 pages of Part 1. 20 Likes |

KINGTELLER:Deebay never said that. S/he only mentioned CIC says financial institution, implying mortgage bank is also a financial institution that the statement can be used. If pension account (which isn't a bank) can be used, then a mortgage bank should suffice. |

Muslimity:Allow me clear your doubts a little further. My wife has about 6 years work experience -all in Nigeria, which means zero points from spouse work experience- I answered No to spouse having work experience which also means no place holder was created for spouse work reference letter. Instead, I put the work experience under personal history. This is what most people here do to avoid the stress of requesting spouse reference letter that adds zero point to PAs CRS point. Now, if you read my initial post, I mentioned I removed a work experience. Creating my EE profile, I had used three different companies. Got ITA and getting reference letter from the 3rd company became stories for another day. Had to remove that work experience post ITA, the other 2 companies gave me above 3 years experience, adding the 3rd initially wasn't necessary, hence removing it was inconsequential. Placeholder for reference letters subsequently reduced from 3 to 2. If your spouse work experience is outside Canada, there is no point detailing it in work history. Though, we have seen few cases where spouse work experience that adds no point to overall CRS were requested but this cases are few out of many who have succeded without adding spouse work experience. PS: Don't argue with elfmann, you'd soon get used to him. Guy na special case on hm own 3 Likes |

kunmi5:1.) Care to explain why you are uploading tax clearance certificate upfront?. If just to substantiate your work experience claims, the certificates alone will do. You can always address documents to; Central Intake Office (CIO) Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Sydney, Nova Scotia Canada. 2.) If you have withdrawn the 25%, there's absolutely no need for the Pension statement of account except you want to explain where you get the money from if the 25% is significantly huge and a substantial part of your POF otherwise, keep your documents simple. |

kunmi5:Even at your present stage, you can still edit her work history to remove all or that which she has to travel to get. Spouse work experience gained outside Canada adds zero point to your CRS. So, if you remove any or all (provided it's outside Canada), your CRS is unaffected. Please do the needful, save your self and more your wife the stress of travelling to get reference letter. Folks (PAs inclusive) have removed work experience after ITA was received and nothing consequential happened. I (as PA) did remove a work experience post ITA and sailed through quite well. 4 Likes 1 Share |

mummytutu:The rule is, NIS will only renew your passport when you have 6 months or less to expiration. Don't know if that rule can be bent when man-know-man is involved, but then, if you know who can bend such rule, then you have little worries as such a person should be able to get you a renewed passport within a day or two. |

crazyinlove:Just like the e-APr timeline where some have less than 20 days, and some as long as fopawon ... Same goes for post PPR. Some receive their passports back within 3 weeks while some wait 4/5 weeks + to get approval plus a little more delay before receiving PUM. Give or take, sending to receiving passports should not exceed 2 months I believe. If you plan to stop working mid February and you have to follow your notice period, then you should have turned in your resignation by now considering you might have to wait a while before you have your passport back, that guaranty you seek. It's rare to read a case of denial/rejection after PPR (if it exist) as that seems to be your fear. 2 Likes |

A representative of a brother on here unknowingly made that mistake, BC only communicated after 10 weeks wait that initial TRF could not be found, rest na story. |

bigbroda:Congratulations on your nomination. 1.) You can use address below for all documents; Central Intake Office (CIO) Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Sydney, Nova Scotia Canada. 2.) A bank was recently mentioned to have increased monthly limit to USD5,000. Not sure of the bank at the moment but i'd be guessing total App fee + RPRF for family of 4 should come to CAD2,480 (depending on age of the children). A Naira card aside that of the mentioned bank might not go through if you'd be paying App fee and RPRF at once. 3.) All members of family is to upload passport, some allowance in body posture is given to toddlers though but not too far off the accepted standard. A professional photographer will know how to handle your toddlers. Six months is the time-frame given for passport photographs, so, you may explore option of using same passport for e-Apr and on PPR. If you intend doing this, tell the photographer you want the PPR dimension (50mm * 70mm), s/he knows other specifications to follow. You can try any Studio 24 outlet. You should tell them to stamp and sign at least one each of you all. Soft copy of the passport is not necessary since you'd still be scanning other documents, you can scan the hardcopy passport just as well, but if you feel you want the soft copy, please collect it. Might still come in handy for some other stuffs. 2 copies of passport is required, one to have name of photo studio, date taken and subject's name at the back while the other should be left blank. Applies to everybody in your application 4.) A gift deed is not necessary when spouse transfers. A letter authorizing the use for immigration purpose will suffice. Frankly, I'd say N2m out of what is needed for family of 4 should not necessitate that authorization letter but for peace of mind, you can include it. Gift deed is however not needed. 5.) Who should do PCC: PA, Spouse and children above 18. Take along passport photograph (2 to be safe), copies of your international passport biopage, and of course money . Average of 4k per person if you go through Inspector Moshood. You'd get all the PCCs in about 30-45mins, shouldn't exceed 1 hour. 6.) Take same thing for PCC but your original international passport at hand. You'd be given a sheet which is what you'd upload in placeholder for medicals. You should as a fact eat before leaving home, you don't know when you'd be attended to. 7.) Just three hospitals in Lagos, prices defers though; A. Q-Life Family Clinic, Plot 155a Prince Ade Odedina Street, off Sinari Daranijo, Victoria Island Annexe. B. IOM Migration Health Assessment Centre No. 1 Isaac John Street,, GRA Ikeja. C. The Childrens Practice and the Consultants Practice, 25 Raymond Njoku Street, Ikoyi, 8.) Hospital, depends on your choice and where you coming from but Alagbon is just after Passport Office (NIS) going from Obalende but before if coming through Kingsway Road. Hope all questions are covered, and congratulations again on your nomination. 23 Likes 6 Shares |

If you connect (privately) with people here, in other for the person(s) to help you better, you need to have basic knowledge of the whole PR process for your relationship to be seamless. With that said, the best guidance you can have lies in page 0, there you will see links to the previous thread and many other useful pages. Read the two page 0 diligently if you haven't done so and you're sure to be armed with the basics needed. Thank you Optionese. My people. I’m begging o, Please, Abeg, Biko, Mbok, Don Allah, Edakun, make una no do jump and pass on my questions. I’m asking for a friend who’s just starting out, he’s self-employed and most likely to get married to a lady who has a young child. I believe proper preparation plays a part especially for an applicant caught in this web. Here are the questions again. 1.) For an applicant who’s adding spouse after AOR, what are the likely ADRs to expect apart from POF, PCC & Medicals for spouse, Pictures of wedding/honeymoon, chats/email exchange? 2.) The significant other has a child, asides consent letter from the child’s father, any other legal document to support addition of the chap? 3.) PA is self-employed, what documents are needed to prove work experience? I know recommendation letter from clients, CAC registration, income evidence, tax clearance, reference letters from clients, bank statement showing payments from clients, contract agreements. Please any other document to be added? Individualized answers will be appreciated, those who added spouse post AOR can help with #1, single parent applicants can help with #2, while our entrepreneurial applicants can tidy #3. Ojogbons, elders and gurus/gurus in the making can attempt any or all questions. Please no jump and pass biko. |
