adeji2001:Only BC can answer your question o. Just when you think you’ve heard the worst of BC, they tend to come up with a new one. July to December for EOR! Mid December from today is 8 weeks, do we take it that the “technical issue” is them just sending your script for the remark cause I cannot just comprehend the extension. |

elfmann:Great. Funniest thing, IRCC specified size and dimension among some other measurement. The size I got was within range but dimension was a bit off. At least 420 x 540 is the required, Studio 24 sent me 413 x 531, though just a bit off, I had to rework it to avoid stories that touch. Paying N1,500 (x3) for the soft copy to me wasn't a great decision as a scan of the hard will do. 1 Like 2 Shares |

elfmann:Those people are not smiling at all, na so me sef ask concession for my daughter but got none. For e-Apr, you only need either the hard or the soft copy. If you go for the hard copy, you'd have to scan just like every other document and you can of course keep the passport for other use. Other use here can be when sending your international passport on PPR. The soft copy gives less stress as you already have it in the required size/dimension. So you can request to have just the soft copy without printing the hard. If you choose to have either, you save half the cost. What I did was request for both hard and soft copy but for the hard, I told them to stamp date two copies each since two copies are required with ppr - one to have name of studio and date snapped at the back and the other be left blank. I did this as I expect ppr within six months. Passport photography is expected to be snapped within six months, if ppr comes within my envisaged period, we'd use what we have instead of going back to the studio, if ppr does not come within, then we'd have to go for a recent one. 11 Likes 9 Shares |

Kingbukaz:The post you quoted is misleading. Skipped to mention points MSc (or any other educational degree) will add depends on your marital status. Use the link below to check your score. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp Modified: If you have MSc, please evaluate your MSc. It will do lots more good than you going with just your Bsc |

Jades27:A provincial nomination is the highest booster one can get, followed by LMIA backed employment offer. At this stage and while in Nigeria, probability of getting the latter is close to zero but not impossible while the former is a more expensive and time consuming route. Provincial nomination gives additional 600 points while the LMIA backee job offer gives maximum of 200 points which should get you ITA in next draw after receiving the nomination or the job offer. If you have the wherewithal for PNP and/or you are in a hurry to That said, CRS is expected to drop if the number of ITA issued is increased and sustained. The past few draws has seen ITA issued to about 2800 applicants from a previous 3300 plus. If the number of ITA issued can climb back to mid 3000s and sustained at that level, then it is expected to see CRS drop drastically. My opinion though. |

sleekysilk:Hard truth here. Though 425 looks more a comfortable zone, if the IELTS is retaken, how well can one guaranty that one or the two components already maxed out will not drop to acceptable base? Part or all the 6 points aimed for becomes lost. Other factors where points can be gained is somewhat a stretch - additional degree; OND, HND, MSc. If already enrolled in a Masters programme, how soon will you be completing? Sure you would not forget to claim points from sibling if you have a PR sibling. cc: Jades27 1 Like |

Deebay:First, English no be my mother tongue and same for my child, so I went with the native language option. For the child communicating in English, I have an infant who is just about walking, babe never start to talk properly so I asked my wife, how am I suppose to answer this question now? But since she'd eventually speak English, I choose English. Plus we talk to her in English and she responds accordingly (when she decides to be a gentle babe though), and she has started picking one word syllables. So, I had more conviction to select English. Only conservative as I would have selected both English and French for her sef as we'd want her talking french classes at the appropriate time. We saved that for future use Lets wait for our seniors. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Emmasonic4me:@ bolded. Ontario was generous few months back... Folks in the range of 380 (I think in IT related occupations) got invited. Your CRS with 8 in listening looks good, why think the long and expensive route of PNP when you have potentials of getting ITA directly? The only implication I can think of is the one year validity period of your profile which starts counting as soon as you create the profile, that of course is inconsequential as you'd get your desired score and subsequently receive ITA in no time. |
