Of course yes. Everybody has a dark past and present. |
emmysam2: bittyend: I believe in God but I don't believe in religion.^ Apt to say. Religion and God and spirituality are inseparable. |
This should not be a subject of discuss, mud-slinging and name callings. People wear what they feel would make them comfortable. If wearing our native clothes give unbridled sensation to our culture, i see no reason why the number one citizen(s) should not do just that. Even as I hardly wear our native attires, to me it is a pride to behold |
emisun: damn....i don't just know where to start this argument with these theists here.they seem to be way below average theists you meet in the academic world.first as an atheist,i hold the view that god does not exist and that the universe came into existence about 13.7billion years ago.the only argument theists are holding onto these days is that of 'why is there something rather than nothing' and it has been proven that this question is a fallacy of stolen concept.nothing has no meaning, nothing is unstable, nothing is just a misfiring concept. if you would like to know more, just ask google and stop reducing this kind of argument to unintelligent discourse.most theists here make use of scientifically invented gadgets i.e phones, cars, plane, electricity,tv,radio etc...am off,am kinda busy......Sir, pls permit me to react to the bold statements above: You spoke solemnly as if you were there when the world came into existence. Can you prove you were there? information on google are they not put up by people like me and you? what makes you think those info are authentically logical? some are edited to give credence to individual theories and proposals. I dont rely on google info as a panacea |
VEE2010: My candid contribution to this subject goes;Whatever believes we hold, the bold paragraphs settles it all. You can never assimilates someone who holds contrary believes to you. What we believe saves us. I can't faff my limited productive man hours debating on inconclusive issues. . . |
Yes, it is normal afterall there is a restaurant across the street that serves one of the finest dishes, their service is quick and fulfilling. |
scriptwizz: common shut up!Thank you sir. For record purpose, I don't exert energy with androids |
Geez! This is the dumbest thing I have heard in a century now. Continue to support mediocrity and stark incompetency?. Did I hear economy has improved under GEJ? What improved the economy? Is it the moribund infrastructures? Dearth in supply of electricity, that has become a virtual dream? Is it the improved security that threaten investment? Licensed corruption? Unpatriotism of Nigerians garnished by lost of faith in leadership? Where is this improvement coming from? Please, someone |
If Virgin & British Airlines are known to be insensitive and uncompetitive to fares, I see no reason why there should be a second thought on banning them, except it just the normal brouhaha typical of the Nigerian govt who is fond of licking These two airlines have enjoyed sort of monopoly way too much in Nigeria. |
Osama10: This country stinks so bad.The country does not stink but some her people stink. SHAME on our leaders, shame on our president who cannot use his constitutional powers to make things work for the good of all. A day of reckoning will soon come. |
^^Sir, I need not be a banker to know when I am unfairly treated, and my reputation to my business partners hangs in the balance. Business transaction should be win-win and not when it is skewed in favour of one party |
Shiloh, go for accelerated application of suit against the bank. First seek the advice of a renowned lawyer. All the best |
Nigeria is a country where anything goes. I won't be surprised if the presidency is aware of your hus funds considering the amount. Things work out for you the way you want them to work if you are a stakeholder or a close pal to a stakeholder in Nigeria. Believe me, if your hus could be involved in a project with such startling amount of money, he has not played his games well, he needs to up his games. Nigeria is 'who knows who wins' country. Be that as it may, i will advise you talk to a renown lawyer who would offer a professional advice on way forward. I am afraid if the bank does not meet their target interest with your hus funds in the shortest possible time, they will continue to rigmarole. The contract given to your hus might be revoked, remember projects have lead time. . . stop treating the bank with kid glove and act decisively now My take, cheers! |
CuteTj: I totally agree wit what you have said but in as much as i don't like GEJ, if another person was president, he/she wont fare any better against boko haram with the current situation of things in Nigeria. Thanks sir for your assertion. Boko haram was not heard of until recently. Suicide terrorism was known to be virtually impossible in Nigeria but now it is almost a trend. I believe the present govt imported boko haram. We only hear what they want us to hear. An orderly leader begets an orderly system. You cant get an orderly system with a disorderly leader. The present govt knows the genesis and the antidote of bokoharam. It is mind boggling why the govt is keeping mute on finding the lasting solution to the menace of these guys. They seem to be enjoying the drama as they unfolds. The security apparatus seems compromising and discombobulated. I challenge the govt of GEJ to reign supreme in accordance with the constitution of the FRN. There is more to boko haram than what the govt wants the people to hear. I refuse to believe the present trend as come to stay. |
Let's not justify the intention of the bank. The plain truth is the bank is trading with the money. They are not interested in authenticating the legality of the source of the funds so soon. They are deep rooted in making interest equivalent to that fund. This is Bank we are talking about. They in conjunction with CBN trade with people's money. You cannot beat that folks |
Good for GEJ and his messed up govt. These guys are there to rubbish him BIG time. I am shocked he has not read the writings on the world. These guys and boko haram will definitely put him at dagger-drawn with the international community. I bet he would personally trade our sovereignty in order to appease the international community. |
smh@what people celebrate as achievement. Another poo in the making. . . |
Tribalism does not bother me one bit. . . i move on in style |
Nigeria is a lawless nation. If you have your money you grind the laws Laws in Nigeria are not made to bite (made to bite the poor) but to bark |
Once anything is bought that automatically becomes the property of the buyer, otherwise the buyer wants or decides to let the property owns him/her. My take is, why cant we do away with the conformist marriage, let women start doing the bargaining and buying then will they understand what it means to place a price tag on them. Chill folks, am not agreeing to slaving a woman just because you paid a dowry to get her. |
There is hope of making the best four - Champions league beckons next season. QPR will not impedes you. Let's go there. . . |
Zulele: Haba! Non of u said anytin gud abt 9ja police...dats too harsh and its nt fair na. And am hoping to join dem afta my graduation frm skol o. Na so una go dey use insult join me wit dem? Na nairalander i b o...una broda. U guys shd kip prayin 4 dem..dat ol dey (we) need!We are all saying the way it is to be said. You know it bro. No sentiments. Their disrepute precedes them. |
nomshu: there problem is lack of motivation, they need to be motivated in all aspect. i feel sorry for them that boko boz has nearly finish themMotivation in what way sir? Pay or orientation? These guys are not ready to show that patriotism, the hierarchy of the force don't see anything wrong in their anti-taxpayers activities. They are inclined to evil. Pay the least ranked officer 1m/per 28days, he will still be unsatisfied. Leave matter to matthias sir. |
Btruth: They all need to be fired. We need another breed of policemen. I'm tired of this same old wine in a new bottle. You needn't think of firing them as an option, they will become nuisance to the society. The best option is to exterminate them. |
Our projects are not known to be based on patriotic drives but greed and egocentrism. Cashless policy is another project to say 'thank you for your support to this govt". If the same energy put towards the reaslisation of cashless project is geared towards establishing and improving on infrastructures in anticipation of the cashless project; I would beat my heart and say, the project will be achievable. In Nigeria, we are known to do the first thing last while the last thing comes first. |
ismhab: Men had fail Nigeria, men are failing Nigeria, men will fail Nigeria, let us give women chance and see their emotional effort.Dude, women will be worst than men. Women are not just ready. Few positions occupied by women recently have been marred with controversies and corruptions. They are unsupportive to other women who aspire to rule. Typically, was when Ms Sarah Jubril aspired to contest as a president. I expected women to give her all the support to win the primary, to my chagrin and disappointment no woman supported her. They'll rather stick to the selfishness, and greed of the male folks than liberating themselves from the shackles of men. Women are the architect of their problems in Nigeria. They preach empowerment on media yet not ready to empower themselves. Jealousy of seeing another woman being an amazon is their problem |
bakila: A President who would come to power on a clean, rigging free ballot. We need not vote for such man. Tribal jingoism & egocentrism peculiar to Nigerians will still stand on the way of such man. We need a mystery man with no interest to luxury but believes in justice & liberation of all Nigerians (home and abroad). A mystery man who sees corruption as a plague; and the greatest problem of Nigeria, and put those known to have involved in one way or the other to death. A mystery man whose people who hold contrary believes to the Nigerian dream of tomorrow trembles and commit suicide at the hearing his name. A mystery man who recognises no class and believes laws are meant for all. Not the rich ruling the laws while the laws grind the poor. A mystery man who makes leadership positions dreaded to those with unpatriotic interest. |
4wardever: Stop it now cos not only can it damage your teeth, it can lead to gastrointestinal problems such as constipation, abdominal pain, vomiting, loss of appetite, and diarrhea.Geez! You are a clown. You wan wound person with laff? |
