Distance Learning Platform offered by Unilag and some other Universities will avail you the opportunity of obtaining your B.Sc. You need not be visiting the campus, but expected to be present in the school to write exams. You need to squeeze your time to do just that. I am faced with the same hurdle of managing official business and personal (school) business. Who I am currently working for is a BIG impediment to achieving my educational goals. Beat your heart and do. You can sis. |
Biggoozz:^^SMH. Military type of response in a democratic setting. It negates one of the beauties of Xtianity - freedom. |
NRI PRIEST:Your advice is apt sir. He should not be glamoured by beauty and become subjective to life matters |

What we are ready to sacrifice for penance and love this Lent and beyond is not meant to be trumpeted. It should be our personal motivation and conviction. |
obowunmi:My bad!! Sorry dude. Your status (m) might as well be delusory. |
Becos they are the worst police in the world. What have they done to deserve good pay? Complete waste of tax payers money. smh |
blackchief:Well said. No amount will change the mentality of the men of the force. The problem lies with the leadership of NPF. YOU CANNOT FIND AN ORDERLY SYSTEM WITHOUT AN ORDERLY LEADER |
Good move. Some Mosques and some Churches cause depression to people at night and during the wee hours of morning, when you are expected to be nurtured by nature's 2nd calling which is sleep, after a day's hard toil in Lagos. I wonder what they do every blessed day at night and morning. I wish this move could be massively sustained |
obowunmi:Sis, I deeply appreciate your insight. I used to think I was solo on this thought. Expedient to say the least. 98% of them are self/media-acclaimed musicians. Thank God I am not a fan to insipid musics. |
It is absurd people are still petty in a relationship. Whatever happens to love lately? Op, There is every reason to let go in such relationship, it will not stand the test of time. |
The boys are damning the consequences of that Order. Visit Ikeja under the bridge by Awolowo House at night. The boys are there collecting money from motorists with impunity. They know the IG is joking just like his predecessors.

There is no SANE member of NPF. I can bet my life for that. I got robbed @ Gun point while returning from work by 4 Mopol members of the force. When I first sighted them at the bus stop with the mopol inscription on their dark T shirts with guns my confident to cross the bus stop built up. When they called my attention, I felt it would be the usual "who are you and let's see your ID card". I was flabbergasted when I was forced to raise my hands up with a double-barren gun pointed unmistakably at me. That was my first experience of a gun pointed at my forehead. My fear was on rampage within me. They took everything from me and the other guy that was caught in the web (it was at Palmgrove Bus stop in Lagos around 11.40pm) was drained of everything including his salary and a brand new laptop and a new mobile phone. The sight of that man (in his late 30s) wailing like a baby after those policemen had jumped into their awaiting car and zoomed off was disheartening. I had to trek kilometers to my aunt's place to pass the night. It was a bitter experience. Passers-by hardly noticed what was going on. They felt it was the usual police harassment. That was what gave me the confident to approach them when they barked orders at me. Who knows how many people they robbed that night. There's also this team of 4-6 men that patrol Ikeja on a navy blue danfo bus. Those guys are terrorists and criminals. They make money more than Fuel subsidy cabals. Terrible experiences with the NPF are not isolated. Those guys are no good |
Nope! Folks, I find it hard to believe these stories of benevolence from NPF. I wonder if all these are made up in order to disabuse people's mind about them, or the stories are coming from NPF members who are on NL. I have never been at the mercy of these glorified touts. In fact, if they ask for the roles and responsibilities of the NPF in Exams, I will be only person with a credit pass. |
U were an inspiration to millions including me. U'll be missed. Adieu whitney. May God ve mercy on u |
Typical rants of an apologist. Thank God gej is not my president. Popular decision would not have put him there, he had no antecedence, no track record of being near there. Pdp and cabal factors got him almost there. He thrust himself into that position. I dont blame the op for being his apologist, if others are comfortable as the makes the op to be,, we'll all speak his language. The level of insults rained on him shows there is no public confidence on him. Let's call a blackman a blackman. No sentiments. The same sentiment put us where we are today |
Quite enlightening. I am having a rethink. Keep it coming folks |

Paying Tribute to someone who committed suicide? You must be freaking kidding dude |
send acct details to lovemovesmealot@gmail.com |
ifyalways:"University student of Imo state, each will get 100,000 per school year, out of which 70,000 will be the bursary for the school fee and 30,000 as loan/grant from the state. After graduation and the graduate start working, only once he/she start working, then the graduate can pay the 30,000 grant to Imo state coffers, if he can only remember what help he received". |
All twisted for marketers to make their money, not even the artist. Come to think of it; only a hand few of the Nigerian artists are creative others are media-acclaimed (hyped). Thank God I am not a fan to Nigerian musicians. Their works are boring, insipid and inspiring. They stop being tacky and crown their talent with creativity. . . |
More profoundly is the usage of 'been and being'. It's startling to note even post graduates blunders using these two words. |
markovnikoff001:Guy, you funny die. . . laff wan bomb me to pieces ![]() |
Sheer Foolishness not heroic act. Suicide not bomb blast victim. |
dare2think:Dude, I doubt. This act smacks of unprofessionalism. I am not suppose to be sympathetic. This is a clear case of suicide not a victim of bomb blast. Even a common tout on the street would have taken precaution (using a long stick that provide distance away from the bag to stir the contents). I sensed the usual pride (typical of NPF members) while he was swaggering down the lane. He wanted to play the Superman |
Idowuogbo:Thanks a million Idowuogbo ceasyc:Ceasyc, thanks for your effort at disabusing the dude's mine. I was looking for these links as milestone references https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-802184.0.html https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-801338.64.html#bot |
