Was this in any way helped Ibori's 13 years sentencing? Hell no! London is not Nigeria where anything goes. Unfortunately Ibori allowed his insidious atrocities to supersedes his good xter. His present predicament was avoidable. I think Ibori deserves what her bargained for. Let our |
I would have loved to give it up for Chelsea but not the lazy butt chelsea of recent. Either club is never my team but I don't want to suffer the pangs of disappointment from Chelsea if I support them. The better team likely Barca will win tonight's game even as Chelsea is gonna be very boring to watch. |
Thanks 1forall for the info. Will push it to friends who are interested and qualified for the positions. Thank you |
afam4eva: Your post reeks of 1diocy sir. You think NOI will be more American than an American. How do some of you even reason. How bad can NOI's presidency of the world bank be for Africa. There's a saying that "The devil you know is better than the Angel you don't know".Mr. 'know it all' thank you for the attention. I appreciate sir. |
nedostic: [b]I believe Prof Ngozi Okonja Iweala has done well by contesting. Methinks, its much more important for her to turn around our economy rather than being a world bank president. She really needs to put in a lot of efforts on our ailing economy.I am yet to see any meaningful impact of her economic with financial strategies on the nation's economy,so far,the economy still lacks financial discipline and it has been business as usual.+100 Good one folk. Charity begins at home. I am not surprise she lost |
It's all water under the bridge now. What impact would OI's emergence as World bank president have had on Nigeria? If not Global personality profile, and how would that have helped Nigeria in its current unending economic quagmire? Among the closely knitted (profiles) candidates, Ocampo would have made the best president with his experience and intimidated profile. While the whole selection process lasted, I never believed in the competencies of OI. Me thinks, she would have gone in there and become an arm-chair president, 'yes sir' executive to the west, thrusting western policies on Africa and specially Nigeria as her preffered partner. I practically withdrew the deep respect I had for this woman during the fuel subsidy imbroglio. I was embarrasingly disappointed when she made a comment that Nigeria's development and growth hinge on fuel subsidy removal. I thought she was more intelligent than that. The selection panel knew she had lost credibility in her home front. However, good for Kim but he was not the best person for the job. Ocampo was. My thoughts |
Lol@PSquare. they got style. Their swagger is as old as 'em |
Ofcourse no, boys who are loyal to the power that be are rewarded. Don't forget, this is a national contract. Succinctly, the project objective is D.O.D. Not only the Almajiris that need education, in fact the 90% population who does not feel the impact of govt needs education as against the 10% that holds the entire national resources for personal aggrandizement. The project looks noble but is the govt sincere over this project? There are schools scattered all over Nigeria, have they been able as citadels of transformation through learning change the status quo of Nigeria? Are these special schools really panacea to the problems of the north and Nigeria as an entity? Is the problem of the north politically and religiously motivated? Has similar projects in the recent past like the amnesty to Niger Delta militants brought succor to the embattled regions? Methinks, this is another white elephant project. Not solely based on patriotism but a misplacement and a benchmark of a failed and confused govt. Pls, permit me without sounding pessimistic, this is another failure in the offing. |
~Bluetooth:To what end are those presidents? What do they get the people? Poverty and despair |
Everything is skewed in favour of women at the expense of men all in the name of 'women emancipation. We preach 'equality' yet somethings are still left unequal. Ludicrously, women in Nigeria are not ready and will never accept to be emancipated, believing in the folly of "woman independence" |
Ehisod: Stupid stone age man what offline mode.Thank you sir for being such a new age man devoid of simple courtesy. I don't exert energy with androids. Any way, thanks once again for the attention. |
Amaka G29: When men become too overbearing and controlling i.e. calling all day, texting all day, and interrupting my workAs a guy, the exact things about girls why I choose quit in relationships. It's very nauseating when a girl calls frequently to say things that are not important. |
Leopantro: @koolking, I accept your premise but I beauty is in the eye of the beholder.what about people hide guns and drugs in bibles? you know those small bibles in hotels ? they are the perfect shape, texture and length for smoking weed. and when you run out of toilet paper......its basically how you use it and what you believe inThey take curses upon themselves. This is not from me but from HIM. @2buff Thanks for the attention. I respect your intellectual thoughts. I DONT believe in religion as it is practice by the majority, I believe in godly orders and morals that will liberate human from the shackles of human-religion. I may lost my religion but not my morality and the acknowledgement of the extant of God. I still clinch to my opinion even with my life that the Bible can never be submerged in tech. I may be wrong trying to speak for others but personally I am not wrong about my believe. Cheers |
Pain: She has just shown you her true colors. Ask any psychologist, and they will tell your about the profile of people who tattoo or scarify themselves.Well spoken PAIN. You got the drill. May your days be long. Some people are just ignorant that there are connections with tattoo. What people see in tattoo freaks is not exactly what they get. Get down and research if you need an answer |
2buff: Ever heard of airplane mode? No?I subscribed to that too. As far as this thread is concern I had never expressed any contempt to his apologies, in fact that was a well thought out decision. My take is, the Bible is sacrosanct and should be held that way. Phones can be used for all sort of things for personal glory and are not solely for Godly purpose, this renders tech mediums unholy and should not be used as interface with God. For the fact that you have a bible on it does not make it holy; and still cannot be tenable in HIS presence. People don't know scribbling or penning on the bible is ungodly, these are trivial things we overlook as not importance. |
Image123: The print media is fading!! Indeed. You've started smoking abi? He should have apologised, stop confusing him. It's not only when you're wrong that you apologise. You should grow up. He did right by condescending to men of low estate, and abasing himself instead of proving mr. right. There's order in church, you of all people should know that.Thank you brother. You have a spirit of discernment. Phone bible cannot replace the real bible. People are expected to attend churches with their hard copy bible, there is power in that. Just like bulletins and handouts that summarise bible verses have given priorities in church services instead of bible. With the thoughts of being handed with bulletins in the church makes some feel bible is a burden. Besides, people are supposed to switch off their phones in the church. phones distract and interfere with the public address systems. Not becos there are sins in the world you agitate for God to be changed. There are things that are still sacrosanct and cannot be changed despite tech evolution |
It shocks me to the bone marrow people are actually saying the "wife's body is all hers and she can do whatever she likes with it". My question is, why did she choose to live with a man and call him husband in the first place if she cannot subject herself to the mutual consent on issues bordering on the family? It sounds juvenile and naively for people to have the mindset that the husband has no business over the wife's personal affairs. Why are they married. You need that personal unbridled freedom? Common sense is you stay out of marriage. hmmmmm! |
coogar: since most naija chics are greedy and they always demand for rewards when they offer help, i can see why this method is effective. ;DYou are funny dude |

LesbianBoy: ATTENTION ALL NAIRALAND GIRLS AND LADIES: if you walk from home, school, office or anywhere and you are alone and you come across a little boy crying holding a piece of paper with an address on it, DO NOT TAKE HIM THERE! Take him straight to the police station for this is the new 'gang' way of R A P E. The incident is getting worse. Warn your families and friends. Repost this so this message can get across to everyone!!Boring game!! You are actually looking for people to send an errand. I hate chained messages like poo. Am outta here for good |

dalaman: Why are women more religious than men? I notice that women are generally more religious than men, why is that so?Women are more religious than men, in what sense? What is your definition of 'being religious? What makes you think someone is more religious? Are pretenses part of your definition? |
