GTB website seems vulnerable to cyber-terrorists. Every now and then the site is reported being hacked. One needs to be aware of how a phishing sites looks like hence one risks giving out his personal details ignorantly.

The purpose of the non-interest bank was misconstrued from the onset. The media was only helping to downplay the significant importance of the bank to the Nigerian masses. The whole issue was smack of religious sentiments at the expense of the reality of its operations. There was palpable fear from some quarters that non-interest bank might be a threat to other interest-driven financial institutions hence the opposition.

It would definitely be embraced by Nigerians in no distant time.

A day to make up and break up

History in the making. That's noble. I see Imo becoming one of most fastest develop states in Nigeria. Education is a catalyst for change. The govt of Rochas is wise and would definitely receive the supports of Nigerians who yearn for CHANGE.

I also see a sudden population explosion in Imo state. I hope the govt has drawn up a blueprint to address the imminent threat to the state.

Let's prove the presidency wrong that the president does not need to come from IMO in order for people to feel the impact of governance.

The fact of the matter is that democracy has committed more crimes than military rule. Stalin was a communist. Communism is different from Military regime. Let me ask you a question. Is China today under a military rule? If your answer is NO then it is inappropriate to equate a military regime to communism. Both may be dictatorial just as monarchy  but they have their share of differences

If only you know the number of people the US has killed in the last 100 years you would know that no military regime has done that. And to even know that democracies now vote that abortion is legal makes democracies killing more people in a year than Hitler ever did.

The point is still that no government is the best or better than the other. The outcome depends on those who run the government.

Those who run the government, what are their mission? Selfish or selfless? Passion to serve or be served? For posterity to write their names in gold or becoming cheap bowels for the village spits? It's about the governance and not the type of government.

. . .and to what good has democracy done to Nigeria? People don't seem to learn from history. I keep pondering if Nigeria will ever be redeemed as Nigeria or as Separate autonomous entities? Religious and Tribal fanatisms are endemic and are proven impediments to the progress of Nigeria as an entity.

The worst (dictatorship) democracy is not better than best military rule. Until we allow the best person (irrespective of religion and tribe) to lead this country rather than regional/political consideration we will keep on faffing. Let set aside our sentiments and be rational for once in our life in order to lead this country out of her present quagmire. Posterity will judge us all.

When did phone calls become a measure or factor in love/relationship? Naija!!! Talking is quite different from communication!! Communication is all U need in a relationship. U can talk on phone for hours without communicating.
So the quantity doesn't matter but the quality.
Well, maybe because I started dating in the days of "No cell phones in Naija", but I had the best relationship with my 2nd gf for 6yrs. As against the BB madness of today.
Calls are important but only when necessary. When a partner makes unnecessary frequent calls, it shows a level of obsession and insecurity not necessarily LOVE.

Tell them dude. I feel bugged with frequent unnecessary calls. Phone calls distract. Personally, I don't see much calls as attestation of true love. It's easier to lie on the phone than when you communicate one-on-one with your spouse or lover. I don't believe in group mentality. Becos other girls or guys like being talked to on the phone per second does not mean I should do same. If you feel insecure about my not calling frequently (if that is the only prove of my true love to you), then it is a free world, you are free to zoom.
