PoliticsRe: APC: SW And North Ganging Up Against SS? by koruji(m):
It is pointless conversing with you because truth is so malleable for you.
It is an open secret that OBJ stole elections in the SW in 2003, including the governorship elections.
BTW didn't the SW give GEJ almost all the states in the region, except Osun.
Can you find any region that OBJ left out of reckoning in his administration?
OBJ, a YORUBAMAN, made the presidency of GEJ possible.
Only for the ingrate to enter Aso Rock and think himself a tin god.
GEJ has left out the entire SW and parts of the north.
Why would you, if you have anything up there, expect the SW to be in support of GEJ for anything?
Perhaps the victim mentality is driving your thought process.
Here on the SW will repay in kind politically and otherwise.

pazienza: You are too naive. Politics in nigeria has always had tribal/regional undertones, this coming election can't be any different.
Was Obj's first tenure better than GEJ's? Why didn't the yorubas call for his resignation, instead they threw their weight behind his second tenure bid.
PoliticsRe: APC: SW And North Ganging Up Against SS? by koruji(m): 2:47am On Feb 19, 2013
They are ganging up against the SS?
What do you call GEJ leaving out major components of the country entirely out of governance?
What do you call GEJ giving the contract for patrolling our coast to a SS militant?
What do you call GEJ pilfering money budgeted for the SW and using it in the SS?
What do you call GEJ getting 99% votes in SE and SS in 2011?
You are scared, as you should be, of your own shadows because of the dastardly act going on under GEJ.

They find GEJ unsuitable?
You mean GEJ is a curse on Nigeria?
Because this second question would have an affirmative answer.
And it would be right to find such a man unsuitable.
Keep promoting hatred and bloodshed.
That way, when it visits you it won't be a surprise.

0% votes for GEJ in SW and North in 2015.

FSU: APC: SW and North ganging up against SS?

SW and North ganged up against SE in the 60's. Now it's the turn of the SS to be ganged up against by these two groups

They find GEJ unsuitable and they also find Igbos in their APC party unsuitable.

They just want a SWner or a muslim northerner in charge.

Can the SS and SE learn a thing or two from this?

2015 will be a true test of who is more populated in the country, regardless of where indigenes of the different regions reside in within the country.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Signed An Agreement For One-Term - Aliyu by koruji(m): 3:36pm On Feb 16, 2013
GEJ sold his soul to the devil.
So much for all those who were here claiming that GEJ disgraced northerners in PDP.
It is clear that the man instead sold everything out to get elected.

Governor of Niger State Babangida Aliyu has revealed of the existence of an agreement signed between President Goodluck Jonathan and some Northern governors in which Jonathan pledged to do only one term of four years from 2011 to 2015.

The governor said it was on the basis of that agreement that himself and some other Northern Governors, especially those of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party supported the President during the 2011 Presidential election, a decision that majority of the people of the region found offensive.

In an interview he granted Liberty FM which would be aired for the first time tomorrow, Governor Babangida Aliyu who is also the chairman of Northern Governors Forum (NGF) said he and others are with copies of the agreement which Jonathan duly signed, and in which he promised to do only one terms of four years.

The Hausa version of the Governor’s interview is billed to be aired between 11am to 12noon tomorrow while the English version would be on air by 12noon and would be on till 1pm.

The Governor said he and the other signatories of the agreement have no doubt that the President would keep the terms of the agreement. He added that President Jonathan has not told them that he will contest the 2015 Presidential election as is being speculated.

Let the man keep talking trash.
The question he needs to ruminate over next is this - so why are all these countries you listed below filled with so much poverty?
The light bulb will go off in his head, when he realizes it is the religious fiefdoms that keep holding them in bondage.
And the man Sanusi has his own two eyes set on ruling such a fiefdom in the near future.
Ah ah ah...people like Sanusi are the source of Boko Haram.

PoliticsRe: Okupe Absolves Jonathan Of Yoruba Marginalization, Blames ACN by koruji(m): 5:56am On Feb 16, 2013
Yes, Yorubas should fight for their rights but the only way to do that in Nigeria is to hold the sword of damocles over the head of your opponent. You don't do that by going around submitting to the blackmail of passing us over for political appointments that are due to us, at least under the current Federal Character we are running in Nigeria. We don't need to go begging anybody, we need to warn them of grave consequences. That is the only thing that works in the current beast called Nigeria. GEJ is into his 2nd year - let him do what is required. He is not a kid!!! And if he doesn't his sins will follow him afterward.

By the way, who and who attempted to kill OBJ at Ikeja cantoonment? And when?

I like the man for working for one Nigeria, but I hate him for always being willing to do it at the expense of Yorubas.
Abiola may not be a saint, but no one in Nigeria was a saint, yet OBJ tacitly supported IBB's annulment of the June 12 elections.

You can call Tinubu any name you want, but he could see the extent of OBJ's betrayal and the potential for putting Yorubas into forever slavery, and checkmated it. OBJ openly told the world that Tinubu said was going to the Supreme Court and added, what if the Supreme Court favor Tinubu and he (OBJ) refuse to comply - what then? And that was exactly what he did? He refused to listen to the Supreme Court ruling for a long time. Such arrogance to your own people is not going to earn you the recognition as an icon among your people. That is why most Yorubas want to be Awoists, but nobody wants to be an OBJist. In the SE they all swear to the name of Ojukwu, and we know how northerners worship their leaders. IBB - thief and murderer that he is - has the "respect" of his people today in his corner of the country. IBB cannot get any official recognition anywhere in the world, but he knows he is safe at home because he never betrayed them. These are the facts.

Gen. OBJ is getting called names left right and center by the same people he sold us to - where is he going to run to - the only place left is home.
It is indeed a sad situation, but a man that reserves all the bad stuff for his children while bountifully feeding other people's will reap what he sowed.
When those other kids remember their father's house they will accuse him of "kidnap", he will turn around but his own sons will turn away.
I am sure Baba realizes he made mistakes and I hope he is able to reconcile with Yorubas in particular, and do right by Nigeria in general - stop doing-and-dying for Nigeria's politics and ensure good governance instead. May be the Nigeria he worked so hard for will not be destroyed in his lifetime. Even at this age the man is still working to keep Nigeria one. IBB, Buhari, Atiku all were hiding their heads from Boko Haram. Yet the man did not fear for his life when called upon to visit Boko Haram territory to seek peace - his courage is without equal in Nigeria (that is the truth) but the good Lord also warned "What profits a man to gain the entire world, and lose his soul". Replace "soul" with "home" and you will understand all that I am saying.

The Yoruba leadership must from here on be first of all in defense of the homeland - they must learn their lessons.
Nigeria is not one, can never be one. When each region maintains its own dignity without sell-outs we will finally be able to settle on an amicable arrangement for living together. Yorubas must always seek peaceful co-existence among Nigerians and co-development, but never again should we have an Abiola, who was so good to the north and a bossom friend of northerners, betrayed by the same people for one and only one reason - the man was rich, but most importantly Yoruba. The lessons must be clear to all by now.

kennytidistar: I am supprise this came from you, what has OBJ gat to do with yoruba marginalization? Is it not the same yoruba people who attempt to kill OBJ while ikeja military cantonment bomb explosion that kills hundred of people last? What do you want OBJ to do again some crooks like Tinubu attempt to gain political strenght by distroying an icon, i'm even supprise fashola of yesterday who dont even know much about yoruba politics and it race can race a fight against people like OBJ in the name of political differences should a right think person try that? It is just like a child refusing to eat and start fight his brethen because they refuse to support chelsea or man u which ever was his favourite, should political differences cause us to fight against our brethen. ACN got it wrong from this angle and yoruba need to stand for their right.

PoliticsRe: Okupe Absolves Jonathan Of Yoruba Marginalization, Blames ACN by koruji(m):
How would Doyin Okupe not know the beginning of marginalization?
He is the remnant of the "son-of-robbers" that OBJ gathered together to inflict his evil plans in the SW.
Imagine Doyin Okupe who defrauded an entire state ending up as a presidential spokesman.

GEJ and his own goons cannot pretend to "give" Yorubas what rightly belongs to them by finding the most unacceptable people to put in place.
If people will represent Yorubas they must be chosen by Yorubas and must not be the traitors of yesterday.
It is not as if there are no thieves from all the other ethnic groups within Nigeria
In fact most of those who represent Nigeria's ethnic groups at the center are.
It is simply the nature of the Nigerian State.

What they won't do - which OBJ in his blind zealousness for a "one Nigeria" forgot, is that they will respect their homeland.
Not OBJ - imagine making a deal with state governors and going ahead to steal their elections.
And what did his goons for whom he stole elections in all those states do?
What goons do of course - steal, plunder and leave the people wanting.
It is PDP's trademark in almost every state under its administration going on 13 years.
And what did his "one Nigeria" foolishness earn him - IBB, GEJ, Atiku have all called him unimaginable names and publicly too.
Unlike those three, OBJ has a problem finding refuge at home, because he sold us out - I am sure the man deeply regrets this now.
OBJ had good intentions, but Nigeria is not one nation and will never be, and whatever your intentions you don't spit on your own home.

Whether Nigeria breaks or stays together there is nothing like one Nigeria, and the sooner we all realize and respect that the better.
Then we will learn to keep those who exploit those differences to steal us blind at bay, and move on with the task of developing at our own individual paces.

OBJ went cap in hand and made a deal with AC governors in 2003 to win a 2nd term.
What followed?

I 'll tell you what followed since you people were not born then!!!
OBJ not only got the deal from the governors but he went ahead and stole the governorship elections.
Only one governor, Tinubu, with the vision and wherewithal to know the extent of OBJ's betrayal thwarted him.
Tinubu, then led a fight (and suffered tremendously) to have the real people's choices restored in the SW.

Here you are, both of you, talking as if GEJ is some good person.
Sorry to say, you both need your heads examined.

GEJ, OBJ and all of their goons are wicked people.
The only way to handle them is to promise them hell.
Both of these comments are exactly what GEJ was hoping to achieve.
It is called submission, if you don't understand what I am saying.

This is what every Yoruba needs to realize.
The rest of Nigeria hate the fact that when we handle our affairs we grow by leap and bounds, although we always wished them the same thing.
That deep-seated jealousy and hatred is evident in their actions everytime they get a chance to stick it to us.
The joke is on them however. Two things:

1. That same mental attitude of deep-seated hatred and jealousy is the same one responsible for their lack of progress. No matter how much they steal and acquire from the Nigerian enterprise, they will never move ahead or feel whole. Development they say is a state of mind.

2. The Yoruba attitude of compromise has reached its elastic limit. The more they want to deny Yoruba rights in the federation the more our independence as a national group becomes firm. And henceforth those who fail to respect invisible lines that are already drawn will find themselves fried when they cross it. Yorubas have done enough to keep Nigeria together by forgiving so much harm and hatred. We will also keep long-memories of every harm that come to any of us from the Nigerian state. IBB already realized that by high-tailing from the 2011 elections, Al-Mustapha is continuing to hear it in his cell in Lagos, OBJ and his goon of thieving-crats have had their bottoms badly battered. I hope GEJ will get on the ballot-box next time. His 99% person votes in the SS, will be matched with 0% votes in the SW!!!

This is how we will deal within the Nigerian space from now on.
We will remember all the evils done to us in the past and get revenge for those too, if some refuse to get the message.

tomakint: and some goons in the house will start branding tomakint, 'bastard' as if Yorubas have been one all these years cool Heaven knows we have always inflicted a self-generated 'political marginalization' on ourselves from time immemorial! Little wonder the political divides (Awo group vs Akintola group) we have been subjected to! Thanks Doyin, for spelling out the truth! cool
9ja_I_hail: I have not been buying Doyin Okupe ideas and thought but i am with him on this. I wish yorubas will take away victim mentality and have a critical look into this they will realized that ACN played dangerous game with their federal positions hence tinumbu and co resolve for political combo to seize power come 2015. Anyway you guys have to wait till 2015 and know your faith.

PoliticsRe: WHY NORTHERN NIGERIA??? by koruji(m): 3:40am On Feb 14, 2013
I hope people will stop scratching their head.
The fact is what you are seeing play out is the outcome of one man's greed for power.
GEJ probably promised all these positions to the North, and probably promised most of the rest to the South East to get the votes he did.
This explains why the man cannot follow Federal Character in his appointments - violating the constitution.
Someone said GEJ disgraced northern politicians in PDP to win the nomination but GEJ disgraced no one, but rather sold his soul for votes.

This is exactly the same thing he did with the minimum wage which he raised to garner popularity, but left the state governors to deal with the mess since they had no money to pay it. Rather than fight corruption GEJ then jacked up petrol prices on the first of the year when the governors made it clear he had to find money for them to pay his minimum wage.

The man is...well I won't say more!!!

Olastep1: WHAT DOES THE NORTH WANT?

The NORTH should not blame President Jonathan for Whatever they reason.

**Richest man in Africa - North.
**85% of Petroleum Marketers in Nigeria - Northerners
**80% of Oil Block Owners inNigeria - Northerners

Yet, the Poorest states in Nigeria and Educationally backward areas in Nigeria are in the North.
Now ask yourself, who is the problem of the North? GEJ or Northerners?

HOW SWEET WILL IT BE IF EVERYONE CAN ACCEPT HIS/HER MISTAKENS!!!

HOW BEAUTIFUL WILL IT BE IF NIGERIANS CAN UPHOLD THE TRUTH RATHER THAN INVOLVING IN BIGOTRY, SCAMS, TERRORISM, CORRUPTION, INTOLERANCE!!!

Let Northern Nigeria wakes up and know that their future belongs to them. Let them hold their elders/leaders accountable instead of being fooled because of the meagre earnings or worthless speeches radiating the whole North!!!

Let them do something about their Educational system instead of being happy over the tag of 'Educational Disadvantage States'.

Let them do something over their major customs and traditions other than useless ranting on who takes the lead in Nigeria!.

Southern Nigeria clamours for intellectual, peaceful, and developmental issues; why Northern Nigeria differshuh

Mind you, i'm not tribalistic. We'r all brothers and sisters in Nigeria. NIGERIA CANNOT BREAK whether you like it or not!.

But let us change our mindsets on the leadership. It wont affect your zone.

What has Buhari done to North-West? What has Obasanjo done to South-West? What has Jonathan done to South-South? What has Major Gen. Babangida done for the North?

All we should be yearning for is an Honest and Truthful Leader in Nigeria!

When they leave a publication of those items must be made in the national newspapers - then everyone can watch what he does about it.

http://www.tribune.com.ng/news2013/index.php/en/component/k2/item/5235-marginalisation-presidency-worried-meets-s-west-leaders
Written by Kunle Oderemi, Olawale Rasheed and Jacob Segun Olatunji Thursday, 14 February 2013 00:00

BARRING any last-minute change, President Goodluck Jonathan will today [Thursday], in Abuja, hold a crucial meeting with leaders from the South-West over the marginalisation of the Yoruba by his administration.
A top level source told Nigerian Tribune on Wednesday that the president ‘summoned’ the meeting following the outcry of Yoruba leaders on the continued alienation of the Yoruba, one of the three largest ethnic groups in the country from the scheme of things.
The position of the South West was said to have been received with disappointment in the Presidency as some top aides of the President believed the message should have been expressed through other channels, other than a press conference.
A copy of breakdown of all existing occupants of federal offices across the sectors was then reportedly sent out to the Presidency and selected Ijaw and Southern leaders, leading to what a source described as “a shock and surprise” at the level of exclusion of South West from key national institutions.
A top administration official from the South South told the Nigerian Tribune shortly before the hosting of the Super Eagles at the Presidential Banquet Hall that “the data is devastating”, adding “if the details are true, then something urgently must be done.
At the moment, there is no single Yoruba among such top political positions as President; vice president; Senate President; Speaker, House of Representatives; Chief Justice of the Federation; deputy Senate President; deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, the acting President, Court of Appeal, Secretary to the Government of the Federation; Chief of Staff to the President; National Security Adviser and Head of Service of the Federation.
The Abuja parley is coming, as Yoruba sons and daughters resident in the United States of America (USA) conclude plans to hold a two-day meeting in Houston, Texas on matters affecting the Yoruba, especially in Nigeria.
The meeting, which is scheduled for February 22 and 23, at Hotel Preet is under the auspices of the National Association of Yoruba Descendants in North America, otherwise called Egbe Omo Oduduwa.
A source close to the US-based group indicated that the members were concerned that the Nigerian government had ignored the consistent complaints by some senior citizens of Yoruba descent and prominent groups about the alleged deliberate official policy of alienating the race.
Some leaders of thought in Yoruba land met on Wednesday, ostensibly to harmonise the agenda to be present at today’s meeting with the president.
A source privy to the pre-meeting consultations declined to expatiate on the agenda, but explained how bad the leaders felt about the refusal of the authorities to fulfill earlier promises to rectify the anomaly.
He said, “There has been various forms of injustice and marginalisation against the South-West zone. This has been pointed out by the different leaders and groups from the zone that had audience with the President. The leader of Odua Peoples Congress (OPC), Dr Fredrick Fasehun wrote to the President on the matter and also had audience with the president nine months ago, duirng which he complained about the marginalisation. The president promised to look into it, but nothing has been done to date.
“The South-West zone was the first to adopt the president for the presidential race in 2011 through a communique signed by all stakeholders in Yorubaland in Ibadan, when even the leaders of his zone [South-South] had not made up their mind.
“The Yorba Unity Forum also met the president and complained about the marginalisation of the zone but till date, nothing is done. Rather, it is getting worse with the appointment of service chiefs without a single person from the South-West.
“ It is our belief that the president knows that he should not expect any support from the South-West in future elections as part of the grouse of the PDP leaders from the zone is that he refused to reckon with those leaders in the zone that paved the way for his victory in 2011. Even when the position of Defence Minister is vacant, he has refused to pick a retired Briadier-General who happened to have been the PDP governorship standard bearer in one of the states in the South-West.
“lt appears very obvious to the people of South-West that the president seems not to want us in his government. Apart from the statutory ministerial slot for each state, while other zones were favoured in parastatal appointments, the South-West is not favoured.”
Sometime last year, Dr Fasehun first raised the alarm over federal appointments, saying the Yoruba were grossly marginalised and called on the president to quickly address the anomaly.
Similarly, leaders of thought from the South-West, under the Yoruba Unity Forum (YUF) have equally led the agitation for fairness, justice and equity because of what they described as the systematic marginalisation of the Yoruba by the Jonathan administration.
The leaders, who held a world press conference in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital on February 7, equally vehemently, decried the seeming nonchalant attitude of the government to the issue, claiming that trend had since gone from bad to worse.
They provided comprehensive facts and figures on key federal appointments, as well as the removal of top officials of Yoruba extractions to pave way for appointees from other ethnic groups.
Southern leaders meet
A meeting of the Southern Leaders Forum is scheduled to hold in Abuja on Friday with Yoruba delegates scheduled to present the data and call for adjustments.
A participant at the last Enugu meeting of the Forum told the Nigerian Tribune that the meeting will discuss among other issues the accusation of Yoruba leaders that the South West is marginalised under Jonathan presidency.
“We are going to submit the data to the meeting and see who can defend that level of exclusion from virtually all sectors of the government machinery,” the leader said.
In another development, as the preparations for the 2015 general elections hot up, concerned leaders of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), from the South-West would hold a crucial meeting in Abuja today.
The source revealed that the meeting was summoned to “address some cogent national burning issues and how to further strengthen our party for successive forthcoming electoral processes.”
According to the source, “PDP is in disarray in all the states in the zone except Osun, there are crises here and there,we want to look into how we can resolve our differences ahead of the 2015 general elections, without this,we can’t make any headway, this is affecting the zone adversely in the scheme of things at the national level, the zone has been relegated,we have to find a way forward.”
The source hinted that text messages had already been sent to those being expected at the meeting scheduled to hold at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel,A buja by 5.00 p.m. and attendance would be strictly by invitation.
The source however revealed the Abuja meeting which would be presided over by Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun, former National Deputy Chairman of the party, had already received the blessing of the former president.
It was gathered that former President Obasanjo has directed his supporters in the zone to attend the meeting.
“I can tell you authoritatively that Baba Obasanjo has directed us to attend the meeting and we are doing so if this will put an end to the dwindling fortunes of the party in the South-West,” one of the staunch supporters of Obasanjo told the Nigerian Tribune last night.

I don't really understand the psyche, but this problem runs all the way to the top it seems.

Northerners want the top position but you won't hear a peep out of them even as they construct grand schemes to get power.
SWers want the top position but they will not go to the mountain top to ask it for Yorubas as they negotiate and try to meet other parties in the middle.
But SEers...It is Igbo, Igbo, Igbo...everywhere.

If Eagles win the African Cup today we all know this forum will be filled with shouts of "Igbo" victory.
After the win over Ivory Coast one person already translated the victory into a need to give Igbos the presidency because of the "Igbo spirit".

Enough already!!!

Eko Ile: Oh no. not these ibo clowns again... Are these useless people for real?

So all we have to do in Nigeria is find the most "comfortable" combination of religion for the presidential ticket, and we'll be in el-dorado?

Nigeria as an entity is the definition of madness i.e. doing the same things over and over again the same way and expecting a different result each time.

Wasn't that the same calculation that produced OBJ & Atiku, then Yar'Adua & GEJ - and still left Nigeria's stomachs empty!!!

How about we reform the structure of the nation so that no single person, no matter his religion or region, has enough power at the top to hold Nigeria down?
PoliticsRe: Why The Yorubas Won't Vote Buhari In 2015 by koruji(m): 3:38am On Feb 06, 2013
A few comments:
1. It is funny how some people, particularly southerners, have somehow got the religion with the oft-repeated saying that "northerners are not corrupt".

2. Although Gen. Buhari is an austere person in personal life he is not, as some people would like to believe, "clean". As the records show his activities at PTF, while almost devoid of personal corruption, was completely unfair to the south. In his brief period as HOS the much-touted WAI was a callous approach to reforming a nation, and that callousness led the duo of Buhari-Idiagbon to kill off three journalists by applying Decrees #2 and #4 retroactively. Gen. Buhari really has no record that should make him into a demi-god, destined to rule again. People just need to stop looking for someone who is "not corrupt" and a benevolent dictator to lead Nigeria because that person doesn't exist - we need leaders with the total package for a modern age.

3. GEJ is also spending FG funds in a lopsided way to favor his countrymen and to the detriment of Yorubas. So, despite all the above if GEJ contests against Buhari and the latter conducts a well-run campaign, not the hurry-hurry travels from last time, Yorubas might vote for him especially if he chose a credible Yoruba for VP.

4. Whether the new party fields Buhari or some other person, if they don't get ahead of PDP in reaching out to the Nigerian people, they will open mouth on election day and not be able to close it. PDP is already warming up its divide & conquer routine, and its rigging machine.

Sunny_bobo: The Abacha regime created a parallel government through the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) headed by Major General Muhammed Buhari. Nothing else typifies the marginalisation of the Yoruba than the lopsidedness of the projects carried out by the PTF. Figures from PTF Situation Reports (Vol. 2 Dec. 98) show that the PTF carried on as if there was no South West.

Of all the roads rehabilitated by he PTF, only 1984.5 kilometres of roads representing 10.84 per cent were carried out in the South West; from where the bulk of the PTF revenue came since the zone consumes over 60 per cent of refined petroleum products. All the Southern States had 4,440.43 kms or 24 per cent of road rehabilitation as against 13,870.47 kms or 76 per cent in the Northern States zone three comprising the North-West States of Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara had a lion share of 5020 kms or 27.42 per cent because the Fund’s Chairman, Buhari and the military dictator Sani Abacha were from there; zone four comprising the North-East States of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe picked 23.48 per cent. This is the zone where Salihijo Ahmed, the late Chief Executive of Afri-Project Consortium APC, the sole consultants that supervised all PTF projects came from.

Figures in other sectors were more scandalous. For instance, under the National Health and Educational Rehabilitation Programme (NHERP), the South West had zero allocation in the tertiary programme, while the North picked 100 per cent. In the vocational programme, the South West had zero while the North had 97 per cent. In the primary area, the South-West had zero against 88 per cent for the North and in the secondary area, it was zero for the South-West and 86 per cent for the North.

The health sector is similar. For the Teaching Hospitals, the South-West had zero while the North had 62 per cent. For the Specialist Hospitals, it was zero for the South-West and 71 per cent for the North; in General/State Hospitals the Yoruba had nothing while the North had 56 per cent for health clinics, it was zero for the South-West against the North’s 100 per cent.

Under the food supply summary, the Southwest had 7.26 per cent compared with 83 per cent for the North, Buhari’s zone having 60.54 per cent to itself.
