greatiyk4u:Fascism is a dangerous trend... It's not about IPOB, its about Nigeria Government believing they have all the unhindered authority to plunge the country in chaos that would affect the world. Nigeria government must learn to accept opposing veiws instead of attacking and demonizing it. |
Nigeria is now threaten world powers. Just 2 years o.. Just 2 years US and EU and others is now seeing the future North Korea.... That would attack them. |
This group madness is not a joking matter. This is international politics, Nigeria should know her place... Nigeria should stop this intimidation mentallity... It's not funny. Hopefully this group are independent because if this the position of the government then we are playing with unnecessary fire. |
The government Should not have openly took law into their hands. Worst still Is they failed. They Should be pressured to produce Kanu... For also stalling court process Buhari need to understand they are what we call due processes... He lost this one |
nairavsdollars:What if they attack first... What if they attack the North first...? You can't be at home with with your phone and predict crisis direction... What if they is international community arms back up... What if it is a trap.... To paint the government for genocide? |
kp3tech:If Nigeria crisis snowball EU would be seriously affected because they would have to take in refugees and West Africa would be grounded.. Buhari don't know. |
The European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has called on the European Union member states to contribute to Africa or face risks of migrant influx. Juncker said on Wednesday during the EU’s State of the Union Address that Europe could face a repeat of the 2015 high influx of migrants when the UN’s World Food Programme ran out of funds. “Our €2.7 billion EU-Africa Trust Fund is creating employment opportunities across the continent. The EU budget fronted the bulk of the money, but all our Member States combined have still only contributed €150 million. The Fund is currently reaching its limits,” he said. “We know the dangers of a lack of funding – in 2015 many migrants headed towards Europe when the UN’s World Food Programme ran out of funds. I call on all Member States to now match their actions with their words and ensure the Africa Trust Fund does not meet the same fate,” Juncker added “ We know the dangers of a lack of funding – in 2015 many migrants headed towards Europe when the UN's World Food Programme ran out of funds. I call on all Member States to now match their actions with their words. ” He reiterated the Commission’s effort to end the migrants crisis which he said before the end of September, a new set of proposals on returns, solidarity with Africa and opening legal pathways will be presented. Jean-Claude Juncker Europe must step up work to return irregular migrants and people who have no right to stay in Europe to their countries of origin. “When only 36% of irregular migrants are returned, it is clear we need to significantly step up our work. This is the only way Europe will be able to show solidarity with refugees in real need of protection,” he said. He added that the EU will work on opening up legal pathways with the proposals to make it easier for skilled migrants to reach Europe with a Blue Card. The EU is the biggest humanitarian donor to Africa. Ivory Coast will host the 5th African Union – European Union Summit in November 2017 to further strengthen the partnership between the two continents. http://www.africanews.com/2017/09/14/eu-president-says-europe-is-at-risk-if-it-fails-to-step-up-contribution-to/?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_medium=AfricanewsEN&utm_source=Twitter

Eastfield1:Sending Northern governor for a starter is very very late... Secondly the governors SE and Northern counter part are seen seen as collaborators to commit "genocide" |
I am tire of all this drama. The FG labelling IPOB, a terror group is already an intent for Genocide They would use it blackmail you . Saraki saying it is unconstitutional is another point against the FG,. Let the government employ me to use my brain to save Nigeria.. Before they spoil it for all of us |
All this talk and Talk is killing Nigeria Image... internal peace, economy. .. I sleep with my two eyes open.. I have transfer huge chunk of my money to Ghana... Although this video is a propaganda but the effect is without doubt is huge,... Any killings now in Nigeria would be an escalator. . Nigeria division is certain. .. The question is how long this talk and talk would drag.. because IPOB would not engage Nigeria Military in war but would blackmail the government if it becomes aggressive. .. and cry genocide. |
MyNewJackeT:And you think Kanu death would end BIAFRA... You just don't get it.. It is above ur IQ. |

“Rising Tension in the South East: Appeal to Call Off Operation Egwu Eke”, Ekweremadu The Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, has again urged President Muhammadu Buhari to call off the ongoing military action in the South East tagged, “Operation Python Dance II.” Ekweremadu in a letter to the President said withdrawal of the troops from the South East will avert a second Civil war. The Deputy Senate President had earlier condemned the military siege of the South East, noting that dialogue and inclusion were best options in resolving the agitation in the region. In a letter titled, “Rising Tension in the South East: Appeal to Call Off Operation Egwu Eke”, Ekweremadu said the rising tension in the region compelled him to appeal to Buhari “to take immediate steps to avert another civil war in Nigeria”. The five-page letter read in part: “The peace of Nigeria has never been this fragile since the end of the civil war and as leaders we must do everything humanly possible and legitimate to hold the nation together in peace and prosperity. “As President and Commander-in-Chief, you would agree with me that there is need for caution. “Recall, Your Excellency, that the South East Caucus of the Senate met with you on November 9, 2016. We had a heart-to-heart discussion on pressing issues affecting the South East. Recall that on the issue of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, who was then in detention, we pleaded for your intervention and strongly advised against his continued detention. We were of the view that his continued detention would only further popularise, and in fact make him a hero. “Furthermore, we informed you that when the leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, was detained during the administration of late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua, we approached the former President and appealed to him to immediately release Chief Uwazuruike to avoid creating a mountain out of a molehill. He heeded the advice and Chief Uwazuruike and MASSOB have never posed any threat to the peace and sovereignty of Nigeria ever after. “I recall, however, that on the appeal for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, you told us to allow the judicial process to run its cause. But, in retrospect, it proved to be a big mistake on the side of government as his continued detention made him a hero among a cross-section of the people. “I am afraid,Your Excellency, that the government is embarking on yet another huge misjudgment today by adopting a military option to the Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB challenge . Therefore, I most respectfully appeal to you to order the immediate withdrawal of the military from the South East as their presence can only and is indeed already amplifying tension in the region. “As things stand, the reaction of the youth in the region is unpredictable. It is also possible that their reactions and actions of the military may be misrepresented or exaggerated on the Social media and trigger a chain of other actions in other parts of the country also. “Not even Your Excellency or anyone else for that matter can certainly foretell the outcome of such chain of actions, reactions, and reprisals. But at least, you are in a position to imagine the number of the avoidable casualties and deaths.” dailypost.ng/2017/09/18/another-civil-war-ekweremadu-warns-buhari/

Worst they is no more room for negotiation, the Army is facing wild accusations and They is a fake "peace and Unity" My question to the Army.. Buhari don't know that his stupid actions would wreck havoc in the whole Africa.... Economically, Sociallly... Even Security wise. He thinks The world begins and end in the North.. I laugh Yoruba singing thinking this issue would not affect them... It would consume West Africa as a whole if Buhari don't use his head. |
Following the brutal and inhuman video of the Nigerian army against the invasion, terrorism, and killings of IPOB members, which has been going viral over the internet. The president of the EU commission Mr Jean-Claude Junker has openly made a serious touching statement as well as warning the Nigerian security personnel against their ill hearted and unprofessionalism in handling democratic issues and the rights of the people… Junker directed a serious caution towards the Nigerian Military chiefs stating that they must employ every democratic tenet in handling issues that concerns disgruntle and agitations.CLICK THE LINK FOR A FULL VIDEO CLIP http://www.viewafrica24.com/breaking-news-eu-condemn-and-caution-nigerian-military-rejects-the-declaration-of-ipob-as-a-terrorist-organization/ |
Buhari and his fellow Night walker has successfully Destroy Nigeria peace, growth and unity |
kazim88 you have time to be answering Animals. He is crying more than the bereaved. I remember when they declared Quit Notice... They were all dancing, trying to justify a suicide declaration. At they end they cowardly withdrew it. They were expecting SE to stoop low to become animals like them. This battle has always been simple... It war of civility vs animality. Between intelligence vs brute force. I put my stake on the intelligent to win and destroy the foolish completely without one gunshot. |

Again, the Nigerian state has confirmed the rumours, that justice, equity and fair play, isn’t any where near its mindset and that the continued oppression and intimidation of the people of eastern Nigeria through brute force remains her choice strategy of engaging the frustrations and anger of the much oppressed people of the region. The blunt refusal of the sectionally controlled government of today, to listen to the cries, yearning and pleas of the people to begin the consensual reconstruction of Nigeria in order to enthrone equity peace and progress throws up only one option: Application of brute force in order to sustain the unjust status quo. This seems to be the path, rulers of Nigeria today seem to prefer. Whether this path will lead to peace and stability is something else. For the second time in ten months, heavy military equipment, acquired with oil proceeds are rolled into eastern Nigeria in line with the two year old policy to intimidate, terrorize and silence the long oppressed people of the region, whose only sin is that together with three other zones of the country, they cry for a restructuring of Nigeria, to enthrone fiscal federalism and regional autonomy like we had in the first republic. Owners of Nigeria who created 36 unviable states according to their whims and handed us a military constitution, say they are only ready to use brute force to try to sustain the unworkable unitary structure that has brought misery and sorrow to 196 million Nigerians. Younger generation of easterners believe they would never get justice in the current unitary structure where everything including admission cut off mark, is deliberately skewed against them. Like the unhappy people of Scotland, Quebec, Catalonia etc, they desire a peaceful seperation from a land that has vowed never to give them justice. The older generation believe Nigeria could still be salvaged through a consensual restructuring of the polity along the lines of true federalism anchored on regional autonomy. But the owners of the universe who deliberately took total control of the defence, intelligence and security architecture of the country, believe that prevarication and pretences will hide their acute PARANOIA and phobia for truth. They therefore believe that brute force will hold down the masses, as they attempt to sustain the unjust unitary structure for as long as they can. This is even as hunger, unemployment, hatred, militancy, boko haram Islamic insurgency, fulani herdsmen brigandage, weak economy and ethnic and religious divisions rule the land. It is in the midst of all these, that pythons are sent to go and dance in the south east, to intimidate and provoke the much abused people of the region. Truly the insensitivity of the sectionally controlled government is appalling. The most marginalised region, whose bold statement on 30th of May shocked the world and the oppressors’s response to the stay at home compliance 7 days later with a childish quit notice and genocidal songs ,over heated the polity, that even folks whose hands were soaked in blood, where heard giving us all sermons on hate speech. The paranoia, the prevarication and the invasion of pythons cannot in anyway alter the resolve of the people, who are completely fed up with Nigeria as presently constituted and have wholy resolved to stay away from Nigerian affairs, including voting in elections, until Nigeria is restructured into a truly federal nation. No amount of quit notices, hate songs, cobra or viper dance can stop the restructuring of Nigeria, if Nigeria will survive. The hubris of the oppressor, could only lead to a direct provocation of the peaceful but angry masses of eastern Nigeria, who continue to bear in a remarkable stoic manner, the savagery of the fulani herdsmen, who clearly are above the law, while praying fervently for the much desired freedom. Any attempt to slap the honour and dignity of the people, could lead to unintended consequences. We are not perturbed by the desperate follies of a clueless oppressor |
