Car Talk / Re: Cab Driver Confronts Soldier Who Smashed His Car Windscreen In Lagos (video) by kraftysprouts: 11:45am On Dec 01
A cab driver has taken to the social media platform to narrate how he boldly confronted a soldier, who smashed his car windscreen in Lagos

According to the cab driver identified as Faithful Olatunde, he claimed that he was driving from Muritala Mohammed International Airport Lagos.

He then came upon a traffic on the bridge towards Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH when he saw 2 soldiers directing traffic.

He narrated how his passenger wanted to buy gala which made him slow his vehicle down. This did not go down well with the Army officer who ordered the cab driver to move fast and when the vehicle got to the point of the officer, he smashed the car windscreen.

Faithful revealed how he had to park his car and started confronting the Army officer. Meanwhile, the cab driver revealed that he was being threatened and punished unnecessarily by the military man.

If the chairman of the group says the group is well represented by people from all six (6) states in the Niger Delta (cos there are nine (9) states in the ND), then the group is as fake as Yahaya Bello being a good democratic leader.

Moderator, please move this topic from FP to joke section if any exist.

Expect a formal defection soon.

Some of us knew FFK, Stella Oduah and the likes went to water the ground for their Oga who the owners of Nigeria have settled on since he’s eligible for only one term.

Someone they will control like OBJ

If south west doesn't get presidency, i have no qualms if SS gets it through Jonathan. I believe the man is smarter now.

He is not, and we IJAWS won't vote for him.
Didn't do anything for us when he was there, still being controlled by the owners of Nigeria.

Government need to shutdown the website as well.

The party crisis in the west is none of balewa/zik problem then the region were stronger than the central govt...the central has not right to send soldiers to the regional house of assembly...it was just a mere personality clash between akintola and awolowo.

Why you dey confuse yourself? What's the correlation between this and Azikiwe?
Politics / Re: Afenifere to MACBAN: ‘There is no indigenous Fulani in Yorubaland’ by kraftysprouts: 7:24am On Sep 06

Seriously there are just of bunch of illiterate after taking #50 shekpe they will come on nairaland to spill trash... they're as equally dangerous as Fulani( they would have been worst than Fulani) in the early 1960s despite their high level of illiteracy they commanded the army and their were the top of every govt parastatals...they formed a coalition with the north locked awolowo up for years...some of those animals got so bold they said Lagos is their ancestral land...now Fulani is just starting with them they have started wailing as usual. Children of hate and eternal perdition.

Don't twist history, party crises in the west is what Balewa jailed Awolowo for, has nothing to do with the eastern region then.

I still prefer a united southern country... At least we can compete with South Africa

There is a common myth that we need to dispell, and that is the myth that Fulani are not also indigenous to the south.

Many Fulani have lived in what is now southern Nigeria for hundreds of years, many in isolation from other groups, but still living in the south all the same.

As such, it is wrong to say that Fulani are not indigenous to the "south", the same way you have Yoruba, Igbo, Edo, Ijaw, you also have Fulani.

It is only recently that tribalists have pushed the narrative that Fulani are only indigenous to the Northernmost parts of the country.

Where in history did you see fulani in the south for hundreds of years?
Politics / Re: Afenifere to MACBAN: ‘There is no indigenous Fulani in Yorubaland’ by kraftysprouts: 7:16am On Sep 06
We need to seriously scrap this thing called "state of origin", it has now become a very coded way to practice covert tribalism.

These Fulani have been in these places for generations, that by definition makes them indigenous to that area.

The same way southerners can open shops in every nook and cranny selling everything from spare parts to finished goods, Northerners should be afforded the same right to live, work and play without being the subject of contempt.

We are one nation, and need to begin to act like it. State of origin needs to be done away with for peace and development to reign.

You must be a fool
Culture / Re: Who Really Owns The Benin Bronzes? by kraftysprouts: 10:47am On Sep 05
Well, the Binis have a very long and interesting heritage, raging from their different diversity down to their rich tradition....
As for me,I believe the bronze belongs to the Benin people....

The Problem here is that most of these bronzes were actually stolen from africa with the help of our own African brothers.....I don't think it should be a difficult thing for the Britons to return such artifacts back to where they rightfully belongs.

The British are thieves, how will they make money from tourism if they return it
