Honestly when it comes to politics, we only have North and Southwest.

Even if Nigeria breaks up(I hope not), south east will still remain subservient to other regions because of their ineffective leaders

The party crisis in the west is none of balewa/zik problem then the region were stronger than the central govt...the central has not right to send soldiers to the regional house of assembly...it was just a mere personality clash between akintola and awolowo.

Why you dey confuse yourself? What's the correlation between this and Azikiwe?

Seriously there are just of bunch of illiterate after taking #50 shekpe they will come on nairaland to spill trash... they're as equally dangerous as Fulani( they would have been worst than Fulani) in the early 1960s despite their high level of illiteracy they commanded the army and their were the top of every govt parastatals...they formed a coalition with the north locked awolowo up for years...some of those animals got so bold they said Lagos is their ancestral land...now Fulani is just starting with them they have started wailing as usual. Children of hate and eternal perdition.

Don't twist history, party crises in the west is what Balewa jailed Awolowo for, has nothing to do with the eastern region then.

I still prefer a united southern country... At least we can compete with South Africa

There is a common myth that we need to dispell, and that is the myth that Fulani are not also indigenous to the south.

Many Fulani have lived in what is now southern Nigeria for hundreds of years, many in isolation from other groups, but still living in the south all the same.

As such, it is wrong to say that Fulani are not indigenous to the "south", the same way you have Yoruba, Igbo, Edo, Ijaw, you also have Fulani.

It is only recently that tribalists have pushed the narrative that Fulani are only indigenous to the Northernmost parts of the country.

Where in history did you see fulani in the south for hundreds of years?
Politics / Re: Afenifere to MACBAN: ‘There is no indigenous Fulani in Yorubaland’ by kraftysprouts: 7:16am On Sep 06, 2021
NaijirianKing:
We need to seriously scrap this thing called "state of origin", it has now become a very coded way to practice covert tribalism.

These Fulani have been in these places for generations, that by definition makes them indigenous to that area.

The same way southerners can open shops in every nook and cranny selling everything from spare parts to finished goods, Northerners should be afforded the same right to live, work and play without being the subject of contempt.

We are one nation, and need to begin to act like it. State of origin needs to be done away with for peace and development to reign.

Well, the Binis have a very long and interesting heritage, raging from their different diversity down to their rich tradition....
As for me,I believe the bronze belongs to the Benin people....

The Problem here is that most of these bronzes were actually stolen from africa with the help of our own African brothers.....I don't think it should be a difficult thing for the Britons to return such artifacts back to where they rightfully belongs.

The British are thieves, how will they make money from tourism if they return it

The Federal government has nothing to lose. Twitter is losing revenue and that’s why they are willing to meet the conditions given to them by Federal government.

They will register in Nigeria as a business entity, open office in Nigeria, pay tax in Nigeria, subject their operation to NCC regulation and respect the sovereignty of Nigeria. That’s all we ask for.

No matter how you wailers try to spin this, it’s a big win for the Federal Republic of Nigeria and hopefully, other countries will learn how to curb the tyranny of big techs from Nigeria.

Some of you who do not run online business will just come online and be talking rubbish about who is losing revenue or not

And the reason why we cannot have benefits from NIN like SSN is because Nigeria is not willing to pay the tax for it plus we don't have the GDP for it.

Also, being on basic income from SSN shows you are really really broke, and it may not be enough to sustain one.

Aside the SSN do you hear of voter's card number, driver's license number, passport number, bank verification number?

America only has 2 EIN (companies) and SSN (persons)
