Ahh a good way to start a Monday. I dunno if zRAM (seen as SWAP memory in some applications) counts. Been seeing this alot on Castro. |
Princedapace:Cool device. Enjoy fam. |
Princedapace:Samsung S10+ Samsung Note 10 and Note 10+ Samsung S20 Mi Note 10 Mi 10 or the Pro variant Oppo Find X2 OnePlus 7/7T Pro OnePlus 8 Above all brand New |
Some uni in the US did their graduation on a minecraft private server. |
That's how it is in Nigeria. I spent weeks going back and forth from court to Glo office to reactivate an old line even after they checked my name on the database. The thing was damn frustrating. |
Minjim:If they throttle my bandwidth before the FUP kicks in, if I did the 20k plan, whoever that's handling their Twitter account will not rest since their CS is useless if you call them. |
These unlimited data packages are waay too expensive and the FUP isn't fair at all. |
Minjim:Guyy I can burn over 100GB in a day reading comics or downloading movies (not them 50MB kind that will make me strain my eye) and books as well |
Abcruz:The risks associated with trading is always high, especially on platforms with no escrow to serve as a middleman. |
Is it me or does he not use gyro or claw when playing PUBG? Well infinix stepped up with this one. |
I won't lie... Infinix actually did good with this one apart the note 7 (though HD+ killed it). Remains Tecno, Itel and that horrible OS. |
Godsown0:It's not for the faint of heart and not a get rich quick scheme. If you can't handle the heat don't bother and don't pay anyone to teach you. That info is out on the web if you search and is pretty self-explanatory. What is easier (but still hard) is HODL which means you buy when prices are low and sell when it goes up before the "correction". Correction might take hours or days cos people are still dumping or buying altcoins for the real price to reflect. An example is few hours back all altcoins (Bitcoin, Ether and others) dipped by at least 8%, which was a very good time to enter for newbies doubting new coins. My advice is you spread your capital to different altcoins. Mix it with 1 or 2 new coins you feel got potential and are maybe a fork from a popular coin. Note - stay away from any smart contracts that requires you to refer people to make some money, that's not how smart contracts work. |
Only know about the boomslang cos I've killed them to make polyjuice potion. HP fans know what I'm talking about ![]() |
Brachaa:I believe if you're paid in Bitcoin, it'll be based off the current exchange rate for dollar-naira on the parallel market which should be 420 or so. Take into consideration that depends on what platform you use, they might buy from you at a lower rate. For monetization (or selling). Either you sell to the exchange (not advisable cos they'll buy at lower rates) or sell to another person at your own rates (preferable but risky unless it's a trusted buyer). |
I believe before or when I get to 40. Current degree isn't giving me much joy cos this country education system took the fun out of it and killed it for me (food science and technology). Thanks to telegram and some sites, I'm getting free materials that would've cost an arm. Once I'm done I'll apply for post grad (part-time), save up enough for Masters anywhere except Nigeria and take a second degree in Computer Science. I'll probably apply for online lectures for the second degree if it's allowed or do both with my post grad if I can handle the pressure. Till then, I'll be studying ahead and polishing my knowledge. |
Brachaa:With that amount, it'll be frustrating. Unless you're on the lookout for new altcoins with potential, investing in current alts (BTC, ETH) will be difficult. Hold like 100k for ETH and maybe 2Mil for BTC if you wanna go there and start watching the trend. |
lowkeybahdguy:What that moniker should know that the person doing such jobs isn't cos they were willing but due to other "circumstances". Even an average indian won't hire a guy to cook for him or a lady to drive unless maybe the highbrows when he can get a lady from his hometown or anyone willing to to do this for him (she might not be paid of course if girl is from his hometown) |
Queenlovely:If you want to hire a gateman, be specific on the duties he/she is gonna do and state the amount you'll be paying. Don't assume cos he/she is a gateman means he's to do anything outside his/her field (cooking) cos you're the employer. For the Indian part, what you listed happens in families whose families use their children to pay off debts or gullible parents thinking their ward will live a better life prompting these "helpers" to use them in the most demunaizing way. I mean how'd you expect your gateman to cook your meals, clean the place up, drive you to work, look after your wards, do your laundry, prepare lunch or dinner, run errands and clean the car for tomorrow and wake up early as 3 or 4 to clean up and prepare breakfast, repeating the cycle on little pay. If you're gonna pay him wages for being a gateman alone, you're inhumane if no one is gonna tell you. Also just cos of your experience doesn't mean others feel the same way. If you listen to those complaints, the few are about being underpaid for the job they're doing. |
SAVAGEBETS:GBAM! For that price AptX should at least be included. |
Wolgrace:Your personal details are encrypted on your device and on icloud if you choose. Apple can look into your personal details if you choose to backup on icloud. If they don't have the key, icloud will be secure alright but whenever you need to transfer those details to a new device, it won't be possible cos the system doesn't have the "keys" to validate such transfers. If it's backed up on your device only... It stays there and only you got access to it. Even Apple got no right to access it without your permission (passcode). For Android, if you root or not (unless you're running maybe Android 8 below) it's more secure than Apple cos different OEMs implement different security measures for data collection besides Google but humans being humans, we sometimes give out a little too much information most of the time download apps anyhow and grant permissions too. Play store isn't strict like app store (could change with Android 11) which makes the whole iOS is better than Android in security argument tiring. P.s - got this info off some argument on Apple reddit over the implications of using brute force to unlock iPhones via passcode without it going into panic mode, wiping/encrypting all data on it and locking the attacker out and why Android is more secure than iOS these days. P.s.s - Apple doesn't sell your data, though some employee might look into it outta curiousity but iCloud isn't encrypted. Uploading data to it is encrypted but once it's in, it's fair game for any determined attacker compared to Google that's encrypted on both end (gotten off reddit too). |
Search for Xiaomi earphones on jumia (brand name is 1More). |
edoairways:Unless when China is involved that is. |
EmptyGarden:Their laws are what's causing most of these privacy breaches. |

edoairways:The security firm that conducted the research nko? A dev or anyone who know what to look for when decompiling the OS will give you a detailed report than the firm sef. |
EmptyGarden:Not an expert but here's the implications 1. You're subscribed to services you know nothing about via airtime (would've been bank charges if some parts of Africa - naija included - got that far) 2. Your data subs will be used without your permission to download unwanted malwares in the form of apps and games (these games are sometimes 18+ games). Which will lead to blaming MTN or Airtel as data guzzlers... Though Dem still get their own issues. 3. Your personal data is being mined and sold off to God knows who on the deep web or worse the dark web. Just cos you're a Nigerian doesn't mean someone won't use your personal data for scams by someone or your fellow man. TL:DR - you buy a product but they're still using you to make more money without your permission and stealing your personal data which by law in some developed countries is bad, except China to some extent. |

Enter xclub and look for answers there if you can't find any here but if you ask me, I suspect your Android UI Hios is responsible for this, prolly paid interns to compile the OS to save cost or didn't test extensively. Good luck and if you don't find any solution, F-reset your phone like WEleven suggested and don't use the gamemode feature till an update comes in. |
Obdk:They might be assembled in the same factory but they don't source the components and designs to be used in making these devices. The OEMs does that. |
