This is the most ridiculous news I have read today. You didn’t provide pipe borne water, no tap water, and yet you are banning the not-to cheap source of clean drinking water from the majority of your residents. Someone should remind him that in recent past we used to drink “ice water” until NAFDAC came up with this semi regulated industry of Pure Water Sachets and bottle water. If they ban both, especially pure water, they better pass water to every home in Lagos. Also, no body is considering the health implications, only environment. Diarrhea and dysentery used to be so common, lol. |
Oracleee:My Camry Muscle 2011 has a Venza engine too, 4 plugs. I don’t even understand all this calculations about 2.0l and 1.85l. All I know is once if I place a full tank, it takes me to work for 10 days. I move to and fro Surulere and VI. Sometimes traffic could be terrible. And only last for 7 days. All thanks to T-pain that is the only time I drive. |
Happy birthday to us bro. Cheers to a more fulfilling year this 2022. Tony5050: |
Wow, y’all popping out like ants in the savannah. Happy birthday to us in Advance. Although i reside in Lagos, i won’t be around in the 4th of january as i would be traveling. If you live in lagos too, just send me a message. Will respond. Tony5050: |
Lol, you were born in January 4th too? How come we are rare like diamonds? Or is it that people dont like giving birth early in January when they just finished spending their Christmas money? My brother, happy birthday in advance to us. Now you have found a birthday mate. Cheers daddytime: |
The person that posted this is being mischievous. What he will not tell you is that Nigeria recently changed its unemployment benchmarking. If you look at the attached snapshots gotten from Statista, you will find that using the internationally recognized model, there is no way South East is the region with prevalent unemployment rate. Don’t take my world for it. Visit it yourself. Source: https://www.statista.com/statistics/1119533/unemployment-rate-in-nigeria-by-state/

Factshunter:Oh lalasticlala ; a nairaland bot has gone loose again. See me, and I was here replying the online troll. Piss. ✌️ |
Factshunter:I guess you should check your comprehension skills instead. I mean if I get a child in primary school, he or she can be able to tell me that Benue State recorded the highest unemployment rate in Nigeria during the period using the stat I shared and not Imo state as would be reached using the Nigeria Benchmark. Furthermore, that Abia state, Ebonyi and Anambra even did better than some of the so called “lowest unemployment rate states” in the Southwest. Now the Nigeria benchmark in layman terms, merely capture a section of the labor force that couldn’t secure any industry in 20 hours and assume such to be the entire unemployment rate. This is not so in the International standards of the ILO which makes this same conclusion on the number of people willing and available to work- the labor force. Now I have simplified it for free for your lazy brain, I hope you don’t quote me again. For the general public for whom I am correcting the nonsense impression being created by the OP, please see snapshot from the same link shared earlier.

There is nothing spiritual about bed wetting na. I know someone that bedweted till she was 25. It has a lot of psychological effect on her; low self esteem etc. Funny enough, she never did so again on her 26th year, and till date, has never done so. So, I agree with people that said the thing will stop on it own. OP just encourage her, and know if it is Sth you can take. But if it is whether that condition will stop, trust me, it will. Smile. It happened to me as recent as 2019 here. At some point I started growing tired of the relationship and I was considering ending things. Something was holding me down, I don’t know what that was. It was not until she broke up that it dawned on me that it was her personal. She be marriage material 200 yards. I actually begged her when she broke up with me, in two occasions actually. Right now, if for ever any reason in this God green earth, and an impossible thing happens that we are the only two people in this world, I will happily die a single man! |
free2ryhme:Do the maths. All the computation above amounted to 54% of the votes. This means that Whitemoney got 46% of the total votes cast. Since he is the only not included there. |
Unless you don't have any intention of travelling out of Nigeria. It is now a prerequisite for your international passport. joseph1832: |
Lol. This is Stockholm Syndrome na. They kidnapped you, took 4.5Million from your people , called your mama and papa, and you are begging government to give them attention. Lol... How else can one define this syndrome? DamnnNiggarr: |
sapphiere:Lol...I am not Omah lay but I am guilty as charged. |
Lol. You are not alone bro. Save for the violent aspects, I love women who are authoritative, team leads, assertive yet understand that there is only one man at home. I like my woman to be really really aspirational yet submissive. I will back her in it all, but this doesn't mean I won't be covering from my own end, I will take care of my family of course just that I don't mind if she becomes very much successful than I am. Consider it like Ngozi Okonjo Iweala and her husband kinda relationship, or the Late Professor Dora kind of husband. All the support she needs to make it to that place she will get it. And I have just one term: create that line between your business and aspirations and our home. Not necessary subservient, but respectful. SweetHearted: |

To be able to know how to assist, I will like to see the employment Contract. Did he sign and return a copy to them? Was there any provision in the contract that he is under probation or that his being part of the company was essential in retaining the job? creolehunt: |

hilaryCU:Is the house in Lagos? What do you mean 'pack'? Is it that they have moved out? If this understanding is correct then just break the lock and replace it for your new tenant. If however you mean, they just left, presumably to return in a future time then I will advice you to involve the magistrate court so that you are not sued for trespass or even worse, charged with stealing. If you involved the court in this last scenario, then the court bailiff will be on ground doing the 'recovering' for you. You can contact me if you need further information though with this email. People who are criticizing this Amendment, are either myopic or have allowed their tribal and land-claim bias to becloud their reasoning. You will go to America and other places, become citizen and contest elections and you will praise their society as forward thinking, mature and developed and you have the direct opposite in Nigeria and you don't think there is a problem. You must have condemned that Cross-river state imbroglio. And you think it is not time Nigeria do away with this obnoxious policy and rule of indegenship, then you have a greater problem than I imagined. Please read and understand before you criticized. This Law is not saying that you are releasing your lands to a group, it only says anyone who have spent a number of years in a place be given similar opportunities as you. Unlike ruga, it is not giving your lands to Fulani or anyone. If they need it, they have to buy it, and you can subject it to several location as you want. When last I checked, Lagos has not deported people from Kebbi or other Nigerian state before(let us not go into the Anambra issue now) on the basis that they are not indegens of Lagos. Thus law is only saying they should not stop them by way of policy from benefiting in things you as an indegen should ordinarily benefit from. Moreover, this amendment is successfully carried out will apply to the whole of Nigeria without reservations so why the complaint? |
Nigeria has finally lost her place among the league of nations. Trust me, these assaults on our citizens will continue. And as we continue to cherry-pick with raised ostrich head whether the assaulted are our tribesmen, the assaults come closer to us. A country that is responsible don't joke with any of her citizen, no matter how lowly placed or how grievous their crime. I hope we take clue from this and realise there is no better time to unite than now. |
