In my last pregnancy, I started feeling mild cramps at 39 weeks. No contraction, no serious pain. But the mild cramps were lingering for a while so I decided to go to the hospital. On getting there, I was already almost 8cm dilated and I had my baby about 2 hours after. No water leakage, nothing. So, I would advise you check the hospital if it keeps coming just to be on the safe side. But then, let other mamas who have had similar experiences say how it went for them.

I'm using IUCD. There are two types - copper and hormonal. The copper is better if you ask me. I fixed it in a maternity few weeks after delivery. It was free. The process is not up to 20mins and it's painless if done by a skilled matron or gynae. I didn't feel any cramps. I just spotted for a few days. And it doesn't disturb sex. IUD lasts for years, but it can be removed anytime.

Disadvantages: I have read that it can cause heavy/irregular periods. My friend that has been using it also confirmed the heavy period issue. That's the only disadvantage that I'm sure of. There may be others ..

Incase you get more information, kindly share. We have partially resolved to tying the tubes but I am not sure if that is the best although we are done with childbirth after this second one. I am also thinking maybe a vasectomy is better but hopefully as the days go by, we will think of what to settle for.

The rule of the thumb is don't do family planning unless you are done with giving birth. I'm expecting my third baby and am hanging boot after this. I have heard a lot of good things about IUD and many friends and family are using it and it's one of the family planning with minimal side effects because it has nothing to do with hormones. Any family planning relating to messing with female hormones usually have side effect . I don't advice pills or implanon because research has been done that it increase the risk of getting cancer. You can also try google

Pele mama.. I totally understand the frustration too.. God will strengthen us.. trying expressing with an electric pump.. it’s easier.. you can supplement with formula for now till you can lactate very well then switch to EBF

I asked because worry can change lots in the brain and the brain is the control room for breastmilk flow
easier said than done , focus on trying to feed the baby often even when she cries . if you give her the easy alternative ..if na you which one you go prefer the work of sucking which is the best or the relaxation of formula just draw and drink. so its your call the more you put her to breast the better she will be at it.. hang in there mama and pat yourself on the back... you did a great job already birthing a whole human

Saw this thread and am glad I did.

My wife's EDD is December 28th,we went for a scan yesterday which shows our baby is at 36th week (bpd=90cm FL=709mm)as against 38 weeks in the previous 3 scans when calculated and EDD still at dec 28th.

Every other details was normal and the baby is very active

The baby is fully breech and always moving from left,right to centre cos we can feel the head's movement

This is our first baby..although she has had a fibroid operation before.

The baby's weight is 3.7kg.

Is there any chance of the baby turning heads down during or before labor
