At fifty two years what do we have to show as a nation? Ours is indeed a case of poverty in the midst of plenty,we claim to be the giant of Africa yet corruption belittles us.The average Nigeria is a hustler,an optimist (suffering yet smiling) desirous of a better Nigeria,yet our elite keep disappointing us,they definitely know what our problems are but seem to lack the political will to bring about the positive change we need,hence someone once opined,Nigeria is an enigma wrapped in a puzzle...a nation with so many politicians but no political class,a nation with so many riches but no wealth...a nation with so many office holders but no leaders,a nation struggling to develop but not growing.GOD has indeed bless us with all the human and natural resources we need to become a great nation.What have we made of such resources?.My beloved brethren,the project called Nigeria is a collective project,we all have a role to play;if we truly desire a better Nigeria we must all equally work for it.This task is not for Mr. president,the senators,the judicial officers and state governors alone.It is a task for all Nigeria regardless of their economic background,academic religious or social status,for example,if i do my work as a student well,doing my best, staying away from cultist,riots,drug abuse and other immoral behavour then i am working for a better Nigeria but if the opposite is the case then blaming our political elites makes no meaning.As we celebrate the anniversary of our independence as a nation,let our word always inspire our thoughts and and actions for a prosperous Nigerian; to act justly,to love mercifully and to work humbly with GOD; GOD BLESS YOU AND GOD BLESS NIGERIA; Once again HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY.....

There has been a riot in uam between the student and villagers,due to several attack to student by the villagers after killing a student and wounding several others,the student was so furious and retaliated which result to a serious crises.so far student have been ask to evacuate the premises of the school and exam has been shifted untill further notice.
