PoliticsRe: Error In Tinubu’s APC Revalidation Slip (Photo) by KunleyY19(m): 7:07pm On Feb 06, 2021
DanielPop:
Ah! I remember the giddy days and fervor with which the Yoruba's campaigned for Buhari! How their girls would kiss his poster. How they did t-shirt aso-ebi's with Buhari and Osibanjo's picture where they were drinking sachet Milo tea! Ah those heady days! Days where the yoruba's poured online warriors all over the internet to sell buhari's candidacy, a man they dressed in borrowed garbs from the East and West but never in fulani attire!

A man they insanely loved to the point that they hated anyone who said otherwise and called them "thieves" or beneficiaries of PDP"looters." Yoruba imams, pastors and babalawo's praised and prayed consistently for Buhari and earnestly yearned for his leadership because, to them, he would rule with hate for corruption, nepotism, ethnic chauvinism and he would be a President for all. They cursed all in opposition and labelled them with all sorts, such was the hate emanating from the very top of religion/religious leaders. Indeed for all! Yoruba intelligentsia all lined up and outdid themselves with beautiful prose in awe of buhari!

You were hated in class, in the market, in church, in mosque, on the streets and in friendly gatherings if you dared speak against their messiah - buhari! Such was the love that friends cut ties, religious institutions blacklisted anyone who did not toe the buhari line. It was a complete wipeout of opposing voices of reason or call for closer scrutiny of the man they were selling! Even their revered poet body-shamed a fellow human being with the appellation - "shepopotamus." Such was the hate that it didn't matter the victim was a woman!

Ah Yoruba's! With all your self-proclaimed "sophistication" and "discerning nature" this is what you came up with? A monster that is devouring your people and spreading his tentacles to those that never supported the "leopard" who can never shed it spots? With all your intelligence, you never saw what blind bats saw? You forgot "words" or rather chose to forget "words" he spoke in front of Lam Adeshina when he openly threw statesmanship aside and batted in favor of "my people," the same people that are now throwing murder, rape, looting, kidnapping, mayhem like candies in all directions?

Haba Yoruba people! You have brought home ant-infested maggots but now complaining of the lizards visiting you? Truly, your refusal to learn from history but to be carried away by selfishness and unbridled desire for position caused all this. You were all swept away by your secret fantasies that Buhari will die and Osibanjo will become President! You were even wishing buhari death too, while extolling his "virtues." Ah Yoruba people, was Janus this two-faced?

Before you begin to insult me, let what I have written cause you to pause and ponder instead of your usual nature of attacking the story-teller who will not tell a story that excites you. Ingest this write-up to incite your thinking abilities and conscience. Let it inspire you to realise that you failed in your quest to use the emperor you installed as a pedestal to attain power. You did not only fail, you brought down the house on your head and that of your neighbors in the process!

Which ever road you travel from here MY YORUBA PEOPLE history has already recorded this event and it will forever remain not only as a deep scar on your conscience but is now your branding! In this 21st century and it's attendant technologies you have repeated the mistakes of Afonja. As you set about unravelling the knots with which you tied us all, let true (not insincere) fairness, equity and selflessness guide you! Ah yoruba!!!!!!

Wish we can bring back Fashola.

When LASTMA was impounding vehicles some weeks ago an EndSars activist was calling LASG thieves. This Lagos na strong hand we need. That's why I miss BRF, law enforcement during his tenure was far better with heavier fines...

Even for school no be every student dey come class and even people who dey go class some go still sleep... So that talk of no data is crap.
Zoom can be recorded and those who cannot be there live should download at night using Night sub...

The money they will spend in school on transport and all other pocket money should be used to buy data... Zoom doesn't consume too much if you know how to set your phone data usage well.

What is it in the environment that is different from other states?
No be everything you go understand... Something's are better experienced than being told.

I haven't understand the rationale behind those living in Lagos thinking they are living in heaven.

They see themselves as been the most smart people in Nigeria, let them come down to other state , they are fools with nothing upstairs aside waking up when others are sleeping , speeding their vehicles when other are driving slowly ...the city don reformat their brains
See guy stop the jealousy... If you're someone who gets easily inspired by the environment then Lagos is the best place to stay motivated and inspired. Because we are all hustlers here...But if you are damn comfortable with where you are in life then staying in other states is best for you.

Eko O gba Gbere!!!

You are confusing state with city. Ikorodu is a town in Lagos state. Ikotun is part of Ojo town in Lagos state. Egbeda is part of Akowonjo a semi urban community in Lagos state and a suburban of Ikeja city.

Lagos city is a city in Lagos State and Yaba is part of it.

Yaba and Surulere are part of Lagos City and they are planned to some extent.
How is ikotun part of Ojohuh
Alaye calm down na...

See this one

You want chop bullion van money

Well Tinubu would not be president at least for another 16yrs.

If you want chop part of what rightfully belongs to all us, go to his gate in bourdillon.

Even Dem go give you fresh nama meat that will last you a month cheesy
Youths will not continue to be youth. If you feel it's not possible to hijack a current structure then sit at home. Politics is something I have been doing since I was in secondary and I know my motivations for going into it. You won't be given power by just rambling online you need to go there and take the power. APC is the dominant force in my state for the past 21 years and they have tried above average. All politics is local and it will be an ill thought move for me to join PDP that is even favouring more Igbo than Yoruba's...
Now is not what I am looking at. I am looking at the next 5 to 6 years and where I would be... Most people you see in politics started very early and rose through the ranks and that's what I am willing to do...

Asiwaju is at the end of his career and I am just starting my own. If Asiwaju didn't join the NADECO struggle of then he won't be where he his today. So you must start from somewhere.
I know my motivations for going and rightly money is the least of them.

Lastly, I can't blame you that much because the F tag in front of your name will make it hard for you to see things the way I see them.

He did the right.

Education is costly and must be gotten with the right equipment and data's not all these mediocres.

As far as Aketi isn't looting the money but re-injecting it into the system then he deserves commendation.

Sanwo-olu us just playing politics.
Lagos has the funds to do such... If you are a trend follower more students from the SW are no longer entering school at first trial because they are all trying to enter SW Federal universities that are increasingly competitive and not everyone want to go to the north.. If the other State universities in SW can be half as good and strong like LASU this current menace will stop. You can't sponsor a child for 6 years in government schools and expect him to start paying 100k per year for university. He will rather go and learn work which is not bad. But having the two will be better.

That's why there's a spike in young boys "Learning Yahoo" now after getting frustrated by Unilag, OAU and UI that's their last resort...

The gap between Yoruba's and other tribes is gradually decreasing unless we wanna deceive ourselves and making tertiary education less expensive is one way to address that.
PoliticsRe: Police Promote Nine CPS To AIG And 20,365 Others by KunleyY19(m): 9:09pm On Jan 28, 2021
Zico5:
I wonder the requirements for this promotion. I think northern police officer are more intelligent and brilliant than southern part cos they just full everywhere. I think this is the time southern politicians need to reason well cos North means business the way everything is going especially in this Buhari regime. Go to federal ministries and agencies, it's like Hausa language is now the official language in Nigeria. We need revolution indeed.
No be today Hausa dey join force... They love it more.. At least I can talk about my tribe... The average Yoruba will rather wait for jamb for 4 years than join force. Every tribe has what they are good at... And Hausa's love force like any other thing. Even if you wanna join as a Yoruba the backlash from your parents and family is enough to make you have a rethink...

I can never complain about Hausa being too much in force because our youths here will rather learn Yahoo Yahoo than join force. The only time I will complain is when Yoruba's are being sidelined in Ministries or Jobs that are more mental because that's a league we perform best at.
PoliticsRe: Ohanaeze General Assembly Asks Buhari To Consider Igbo For IGP by KunleyY19(m): 12:59pm On Jan 28, 2021
Na turn by turn be Nigeria. . . Under GEJ what did the Yoruba's too enjoy that is worth remembering. The baba was busy building almajiri school upandan and yet dey still vote am out.

This country na cruise. Even me I know if PDP wins by 2023 the Yoruba's will be at the receiving ends because it's obvious where we belong as a region. But you will not see us scrambling upandan rather na constructive agitation we go use protest. The media HQ is in SW for a reason.

This Nigeria na payback everybody dey do.
Even under Jonathan it was like this for Yoruba people. Although not as worst as this Buhari own. But it's only if we wanna deceive ourself majority of our leaders have that clannish mentality.

Even Obj took his own pound of flesh on the Yoruba's because of lack of overwhelming support. So revenge is in our hearts as Nigerians. Na to just wait for your turn.

Olamide is deep I'll explain

His banana means dick , and once a man can control his dick he's controlled 99% of his problems
The other banana means banana island in Lagos , the current most expensive place to stay in Lagos

In summary

When you focus on making money than focusing on wooing women , you'll achieve more in life , it'll determine if you'll live in banana island of oshodi

Lights up my kpoli in peace
I actually thought it's what the girl does with the banana that will determine if Olamide buys her house in Banana Island.

Your interpretation makes more sense that way.

Good one.. They are finally coming to their senses at last to realize that covid-19 is here to stay and the best we could do is to mitigate with it by enforcing strict protocols and guidelines rather than postponing and postponing.

Amongst every other sectors, I can say that no one can exercise these guidelines better than we students would because we are educated and not some persons in market places that don't care to observe any protocol.
How will squatters do it now when covid 19 protocols are enforced in hostels... For here squatters plenty pass legal occupants sef grin grin grin
