Thanks folks for your advice on this forum. it has been wondeful. No body has monopoly of knowledge and have learnt and gaind from this forum. This is to let guys know that the strike by Visa officers around the world is having its toll on visa processing.

ChriGo: I dont think these list is the rationale for some peeps been called for medics within 2months and sum 3months.....some things are bin put into consideration bro....1. How quick verifyable one docx is 2. Universities reputation 3. level(masters/Pgd/bsc) 4. Quota system ....etc..there are some courses peeps go for that are not on the list u mentioned and still got called for medics within 2months how do u explain that? And there are peeps going for some courses u listed that are yet to get medics .how do u explain that too?....so with due respect sir i fault this hypothesis ....

I totally agree with chrigo I will also like to add that Thanks VO that handle ones doc to sometime matters also. If is the slow one its will the more time than the hardworking one. #my2cent#

Well, i can dispute the fact that they are good but it takes longer time for it to be delivered. i was told it will take 10working days for my doc to be delivered and uptil now it has not been deliver. i know it will eventually be deliver but THERE IS NO TIME TO CHECK TIME.
if you spend 2 weeks to send doc by now and its takes at least 1 week before the school make decision then when do you want to submit your application? #my2shishi#

NIPOST is less than 1k while fedex should be less than 5k. depends on the weight of the doc.

DO NOT USE NIPOST oo unless u want to wait as if na TRV u dey wait for. i used NIPOST to send document since 12th August i track it through Canadian Post office it shows delivered, i mail the school to confirm if they've receive my doc and they reply me that they have not. i will suggest FEDEX for you. #my2shishi@

Shadams has once stated that there are some salient things the VO look out for in an application,which once spotted, automatically put the applicant on the fastest lane of visa processing...I strongly believe that...

Above all, God factor matters most...

I think packaging matters a lot there some applications that the VO needs to verify. Sometimes the more doc you package the more time its takes for decision making. #my2shishi#

freshdude: Okey 2morrow is gonna make It exactly 3months since I submitted my application. I just finished tracking now, no mail, no response frm CDHC. I sent them a mail and they gave me the generic 4-6 months ish. The part I don't understand is how they will leave may applicants file untouched, and move to june. What do u guyz suggest I do. Send them another mail.? Call them.? Go to lag.? Do they even have number someone can reach them with.? Abeg make una try reason my matter, before I go join jehova sharp sharp church as oga chris bin suggest.

Chatters: Use Canadian post office website to track ur mails. They are always up to date. Forget nipost website. It doesn't work. Normally ur mail should be there in Canada between 12-21 days.

Bro, i ws also a futoite. All u nid to do is to download the letter of appraisal and print it. Then give ur lecturers(prof or Dr) de hard copy of de forms to manually fill it. Dt ws wad i did in my own case n it work. Finally u hv to mail it thru nipost or dhl using the sch and dept name of d referrees.

Abeg how long will it take nipost to deliver doc. I don tire oo today makes it 12working day stil not delivered base on their static tracking system.

I ll give a detailed list of documents to submit that help fellow nairalanders in future, as a testimony I helped a friend with his application and he was also called for medicals even before I got mine... Its God's doing and its marvellous in our sight.
