My upfront medical was submitted on 4th April n passed on 15th.

I got married to my husband who is currently a student in Saskatchewan early last year.

On the 16/4/2021 I submitted my spouse open work permit and on the 21/4/2021, I did biometrics. I haven’t gotten a medical request from the Embassy yet. My husband refused to allow me access to the account he used in filing this application for me as he only has the password to the account he created and only him can access it. I can only receive mails although I know my application number, IRCC number and other relevant info but he said he has canceled the application and I am yet to be notified of the cancellation via mail.

My husband traveled back shortly after our wedding and since then, he has completely abandoned me here in Nigeria. He informed me that he has canceled my application for no reason and he said he is about to get married to another lady while his marriage with me is still valid.

I haven’t heard from him since last year and I do not know my fate concerning my pending application.

Is there any way you can help me check the status of my application if I provide the relevant info and what are the steps I can take concerning my predicament.

But BVL was sent to my application for November 2021 which was the old portal.we applied to visit my undergraduate son.still expecting PPR.

I'm back again with my questions. I'm travelling with my kids (2) to visit two siblings with PR. I have lived in the UK as a student and visited UK with kids too.

I will be sponsoring the entire trip to Canada, but the flight ticket is quite high for myself and my kids. I can afford to pay without any issues but the reality is that the amount i stated we will be spending on the trip after putting all expense together on our visa form is like half of the money in my savings account. ........balance in my account is 3.9 million if converted to Naira . . i don't know if this can affect my application . Imy business account has constant in flow which has a balance of 4.5 million Naira, i will add both personal and business account to this application.

My parents will also be travelling as its a family holiday to reunite with my siblings we haven't seen them since 2019.

question: Can my father sponsor part of the trip with a letter stating he will purchase our flight ticket ? or my sister in Canada should be the one sponsor part of the trip? or i just sponsor the trip as i already planned to do?

I feel I'm old enough to support myself but will it be a problem if half of my savings is spent on the trip as per what i filled in the visa form. I'm yet to submit so really thinking of the best way to present this to a visa officer without issues . please help a sister , need urgent response .

This IRCC are very discriminatory, I just saw on FB now that they approved an Indian that the spouse has even completed the program. I just wonder why they can't just come out bold that we don't want blacks and we all know where to put our energy.

It's just painful that our govts are making us go through all these. If they have utilized our resources well all these things won't happen. But what can we do in light of this current reality? just pained and frustrated.

I got my GCMS for the first one but still waiting for the second.

So for the first application we had a total of 10k cad from all sources in our account with me as the sponsor.

For the second app, we got 16k in our account with me as the major sponsor. We show employment letter as a quality control scientist in a bottling company.

2nd pic -GCMS to the first rejection. I did a rebutter for this in addition to the SOP from both of us. I argued that traveling is based on necessity and my spouse never need to travel since we are young graduates and she couldn't join . Also, in the rebbuter I argued that we are young and don't have property aside from the land we inherited from her mom as the firstborn (Name not changed yet).The last one I changed the duration to 10days to help with my PhD qualifying exam.

You cannot predict when it comes to IRCC. Some applications get processed quickly, while others take a bit longer.
Another option you have is to re-apply on the new portal if the initial application was submitted on the old portal. The new portal seems faster with visit visa applications than the old portal lately, but you will pay another application fee.

But if your purpose of travelling is not super urgent and just for the tourist, I would advise you to be patient more.
You can raise webform and send an email to Lagos, Abuja and Nairobi, but don’t send multiple emails if the purpose of the visit is not timebound or urgent.

I understand the anxiety; try to distract yourself with some other stuff. A decision would come, don’t worry. You can also give It another three weeks, then order your GCMS notes again to compare with the previous if there is any progress in your file.

Please how did you solve this. My family's visa was refused last month based on this. After a whooping one month wait for GCms notes it came out with : client has a strong ties in Canada, like seriously, I have already told you my wife is in Canada and I want to visit her. It was so annoying. How did you solve that? We had submitted all the hometies to Nigeria we can think of.

Timeline:

Second application: December 6th 2021
Refusal without refusal letter: February 15th
Reconsideration (Approval without PPR): March 24th
PPR letter: April 4th

What thing I have come to observe about Canadian Visa application is the level of unpredictability. I tell you, two applications with same condition of request submitted will get different outcome.

My fiancé is a Canadian citizen and we are getting married in few weeks. The plan is to start processing my relocation immediately after the wedding. Spousal sponsorship for PR takes 12 months minimum, so we want to try the temporary visa route. I have the following questions

1. How soon after the wedding is it okay to apply for a visitors visa? And can we apply for both spousal sponsorship and temporary visa at the same time?
2. What documents do I need to put together to ensure a successful temporary visa application?

Please is it possible to arrive Canada before the “expected travel date” stated on your visa application form? For instance, if in the form, you said your travel period is June 25th to Aug, is it possible to arrive, maybe, June 10th?

Please I need clarification. I applied for SOWP and visit visas for my kids 8&6yrs since October last year. With no response, I subsequently applied for visit visas for all of us on the new portal. Early last month, I discovered that my kids' visit visa application that was done with my SOWP was withdrawn. What's the implication of this.

It is advisable to just forget about the whole miscarriage scenario in her application, just submit a normal application with strong SOP and I should just mention she is pregnant?

Here is lil background,
She just wrote IELTS overall score 7band, she as a Registered company with good inflow & outflow in her acct, she as a little IT knowledge as she remotely with a law firm. Can this fly?

Good afternoon guys, I’m so happy to be here. I recently got my study permit approval and I will be traveling by ending of this month. I really need your guidance on how to apply for my wife SOWP coz I intend to submit her application asap once I settle down.

So here is the situation, my wife is 11weeks pregnant now after 2 recent miscarriage and I really want her to join me immediately. What are the docs I need to submit to support her application. All her medical file like previous 2 PT test, Scan(s), series of test results before those Mc and after Mc are intact. Does our GYN/OBS need to write letter to support her application, does our hospital need to write a letter too? Do I need to increase my Proof of fund?

What is her chance of getting SOWP before her EDD?

Please I really need you guys input, so I can get all docs before I travel.
