There is nothing wrong in deciding you cannot marry people in certain professions, after all, some men will tell you they cannot marry actresses or bankers or even lawyers.

In Yoruba tribe both families are financially responsible for weddings. Infact most times, a reasonable part of the wedding is financed by the bride's family.

Haven't you wondered how he accepts and easily forgives murderers that have murdered so many lives, a long time prostitute, a rapist and many more? You think as massive as God's love is for David, he wasn't severely punished for his actions?? You shouldn't have stopped at verse 8 of the same bible and chapter you quoted, you should have read further through verses 9,10,11,12 to 14 to see how God CURSED and punish David for what he did. Apart from losing what he had, his child died. You think Solomon had a good ending?

I am not a polygamist but Bible never said one-man, one wife. In fact, Bible in 2Sam12:8 “I gave your master’s house to you, and your master’s wives into your arms. I gave you all Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more.”

I was the Oyinbo people that brought Christianity to Africa that sold the idea of one-man, one-wife to us. It has never been biblical. The closest you see in the Bible is “so therefore a man shall leave his father’s house and cleave unto his wife and they become one flesh”. (Gen2:24)This statement does not say one-man, one-wife. What stops a man from becoming one flesh with his many wives?

In the new testament, the only thing Paul said against polygamy is that a man of many wives shall not lead the church

Remember. Abraham had many wives and concubines not to talk of Solomon.

Again, I am not a polygamist, I just want you to understand the Bible before making wrong statement and terming it biblical.

If Abraham, Solomon and David had more than one wife, does that still proves the fact that God loves polygamy? Moses killed in the bible and God still used him to lead the Israelites, does that mean God supports killing? Peter lied in the bible and denied Jesus, God still used him as a great evangelist and preacher, does that mean God supports betrayal? Mary Magdalene had 7 demons but became one of the followers of christ, who witnessed his death, burial, crucifixion and ressurection, does that mean God supports demonic powers?

I've had countless experience of everything you're saying.

A girl that claimed I'm her boyfriend. She calls me forever mine. On Val's day, she sent some gifts, cash and all that... I wasn't moved at all. I told myself, this girl got plans.
