Lol! Laugh wan kill me die @ op. Fashola is that you? So, fashola you are on nairaland? Lmao! By the time yo leave office fashola just be preparing and ready to go to court to justify that the 29 citizens of nigeria you killed in your concentration camps are beggars. And even if they are beggars why kill them in a concentration camp? And this same fashola that praises adolf hitler as his mentor will definitely end like hitler. 2015 come fast before more citizens die in fashola's concentration camp let us take him to ICJ were the likes of charles taylor and ghadafi's son are waiting for him. By 2015 tinubu will deny, betray and leave you to your fate. Keep on killing nigeria citizens in your concentration camp. 29 citizens gone and still counting.

Lmao! The same el-rufai that condemns pdp as corrupt now storming IBB's residence. IBB the most corrupt nigerian is whom el-rufai and his gang have gone to woo to their boko haram party. I thought buhari and IBB are sworn enemies, abi is this not the same IBB that toppled buhari's government that have made them sworn enemies till date? Ok! Let me see how oil and water will mix. Oh! I forgot this is politics. In politics the acclaimed corruption fighter can mix with the acclaimed corruption enforcer. This is politics. Buhari(saint) romances IBB(devil).

Mods na wa for una ooooo. Governor peter obi condemned fashola on his recent deportation of igbos and it did not hit frontpage instead it was sent to the ethnic and tribal section. Fashola now replied peter obi and it hit frontpage within an hour. Now, how would people even understand what fashola is replying when they did not see obi's statement that prompted such replies. Anyway, no need to complain I know the mods and owner of this site will only promote their kinsman and demote others. Imagine obi said something and it was tgrown in the dustbin of nairaland and fashola replied him and it was sent to the frontpage immediately. Hahahahahahahaha!

You have stakes in lagos. Hahahahaha! Do you have stakes in lagos more than me? Look! I have been in lagos for over four decades and have stakes more than you can ever dream og having in your lifetime. Have you pondered and ask yourself why ladipo market all the time? The lagos market with 100percent igbos. Look I have stakes in different markets in lagos and I have been to almost all the markets in lagos and I don't see why ladipo is the most vilified. I give you an assignment if actually you are a lagosian, go to all the markets in lagos and do a liitle research you will see that why ladipo is always the target of is because of the ingenuity og the igbos. That is a fact. Am a mjor stakeholder in so many lagos market and I talk with facts
Obiagelli:
I don't trade in ladipo, if they have voilated the law let them pay for it, are you saying they don't close markets in the east or is ladipo the first market to be closed and what is closed indefinitely?

If you expect me to join the condemnation bandwagon then I am sorry I don't discuss things I have no facts about. I have not meet those that were taking back home so I can't say anything about them.

Look we need to be extremely care with those trying to create and incite hate between us and our host, most of them don't own a single stake in lagos. I don't want to loose all I have because of some silly folks just like some of us are experiencing in the north today

Your rochas/ Adams conspiracy holds no water because as far as I know they are very active members.

So orji uzor kalu that threatened to sue you have political ambitions too in this 2014 abi? So, aka ikenga, massob, NBA and all well meaning nigerians that have condemned this dastardly act all have political ambitions in this 2014 abi? So when others have condemned such act, gov peter obi who is the governor of the state you dumped those nigerian citizens shoul keep quiet ba? Because there will be governorship elections in his state. Fashola tell me something I don't know. If peter obi house catches fire now he shouldn't shout for help and call fire service because there is elections in anambra in 2014? If robbers in anambra go on robbery operation for for months peter obi should keep quiet because ther will be elections on november. Hahahahahaha! The same fashola that bought helmet for okada riders before 2011 elections and confiscated their bikes after the elections is making noise. Hahahahahah

Even rochas that you just mentioned condemned the first closure of ladipo market and had to come down to lagos for negotiation with fashola before it was reopened. Look, 2015 is still far and there is lots of tim for alignments and re-alignments in the nigerian political sphere. Have you noticed rochas and oshiohmole's coldness to this APC of a thing since this interim post was drawn. Did you see that when all the APC governors went to visit amaechi rochas and oshiomole sent deputies. What a co-incidence. Now coupled with fashola's recent harrasment of igbos, watch what happens in the coming future. You claim to be igbo abi and you see nothing wrong in fashola's action, don't worry when rochas jumps ship I will know what and whom you will be saying that we the igbos hate.
Obiagelli:
Now its a personality issue ba? You asked for the list and I gave it to you, why not debate the topic.

Btw I have nothing to prove to you and you wouldn't be thhe last person to make silly insinuations. If you all can turn against rochas then am not bothered.

Lastly I hope your Eze didn't send you.

Go through the profile of the said obiagelli and you will know that that's a yoruba boy and my guess is eggheaders.

sexkillz: You've been an obedient puppy from get go. Are you refusing to obey this time around because money is involved? You smelt money and suddenly remembered you have balls?

You allowed her run your life happily. You have never complained about her nor the sacrifices she has done and undergone for you. How many girls will teach and encourage a boy these days? Stand by him and make sure he takes his books seriously? Nudge him to apply for an exam, and coach him to success? Those are the qualities of a wife. It's a pity and a shame that you have chosen to look at the financial aspect alone.

A person who is grateful will share that money into 2 and give her half, just to show appreciation. Count how many blessings that have come to you because she was there. Now she is bad because money is coming your way.

Shame on you my brother, shame on you.

Some people do not know what they have, until it's taken away from them. In few years to come, you'll be looking for a "wife material".

How many present day wives have the interests of their husbands at heart like this girl does?

Education / ASUU STRIKE: Students Appeal To FG And Lecturers by kzokul(m): 7:05am On Jul 31, 2013
ASUU strike is now four weeks old.

Students in Osun have called on the Federal Government and university lecturers, ASUU, to resolve the issues which led to the current strike by university lecturers.

Many of the students, who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria, on Tuesday, enjoined both parties to bury the hatchet for peace to reign.

Adewale Adejuyigbe, a final year student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, said the incessant strike by ASUU had elongated his stay in the university.

He said: “I am fed up with this strike action of ASUU.

“Each time they have one or two issues to settle with the Federal Government, strike action should not be the only option.

“In a democratic setting, there are many available means of expressing your grievances other than total paralysis of the system at the expense of the students.

“I believe our lecturers know that their job goes beyond normal service for payment, it is indeed a service to humanity because education remains the light of the society.’’

Another student of the same university, Toriola Ibidun, lamented the level of decadence in the educational system, saying the strike action would further aggravate the situation.

He said the Federal Government must be sensitive to the importance of the education sector, adding that all stakeholders must work for peace in the universities.

Moradeyo Edun, a first year student of the University of Ibadan, condemned ASUU’s strike option, describing it as “callous and mean.’’

She said: “Can’t these people change their strategy; it is high time they realised that strike action is adversely affecting the students; it is the students that suffer most, not the government.

“I am pleading with both ASUU and the Federal Government to quickly find a lasting solution to this strike and allow us to face the future squarely.’’

A retired Professor of History at the University of Ado-Ekiti, Olatunde Ikumapayi, said in a telephone interview that the educational system needed total overhauling.

“We cannot continue to pretend that all is well when indeed there is a serious problem at hand, it will be catastrophic if we allow the situation to continue like this.

“I believe ASUU has taken it upon itself to call the Federal Government to order and that is the only way we can achieve a pleasant system,’’ he said.

Nigerian University lecturers have been on strike for the past four weeks.

Education / Vice Chancellors Condemns Prolong ASUU Strike by kzokul(m): 11:11am On Jul 30, 2013
Vice Chancellors of Universities in Nigeria have unanimously condemned in strong terms the ongoing indefinite strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

The VCs, under the aegis of Association of Vice Chancellors of Federal State Universities in Nigeria, rising from a meeting in Abuja, urged both the Federal Government  and ASUU to expeditiously resolve the crisis.

Secretary-General of the association, Professor Michael Faborode, disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday.

He said: “At the 59th meeting of the Association of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Federal, State and Private Universities held on Thursday, 18th July, 2013, at the Nigerian Turkish Nile University (NTNU), Abuja, the ongoing national strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) was extensively deliberated upon.

“The association noted that the strike action was crippling the education system in Nigeria, and portraying the system and the country in bad light to the global community.

“The association therefore appealed to the Federal Government and ASUU to expeditiously reach an amicable solution on the 2009 FGN-ASUU Agreement, so as to restore normal academic activities in Nigerian university system,” he said.

The vice chancellors also expressed disgust over widespread plagiarism involving both lecturers and students in Nigerian Universities.

He said the association also considered its ‘Keffi Declaration’ on preservation and sustenance of academic traditions in Nigerian universities, and noted a few infractions.

“It urged its members to continue to uphold the extant traditions of the academic system.

“It was observed in particular that, the association, by collectively subscribing to the TURN-IT-IN anti-plagiarism services at a considerable cost, has taken appropriate steps to uphold article 9.2 i&ii of the Declaration, aimed at combating widespread plagiarism in our universities, by authenticating the originality of all academic publications for the sake of credibility of the system,”he said.

He added: “Members extolled the virtues of the anti-plagiarism package within a short time of its usage, and projected that indolent and lazy academics and students, who denigrate the system with their inordinate ambition and sharp practices, no longer have any hiding place, as the service would fish them out for appropriate sanction.

“Plagiarism is one of the most heinous misdemeanours in the academic system”.

The meeting was attended by over 50 Vice Chancellors and Deputies
