@Barcanista, am dissapointed on your post above, what is wrong with you? you have totally lost all the sense of reasoning you have. Someone was mourning the death of his daughter and unborn grand child, all you could say is this jagons, all in the name you support the president. Remember, everything we do in life will come back to hurt us whether good or bad. I wish you the same thing that happened to the Fajanas. You are disgusting.

The kidnappers has stepped up their games now, kidnapping of children in church vicinity is becoming rampant and the Churches should improve on their securities. This same event happened in my church about 2months ago. Parents should also be sensitive to their environment. The kid will be found by God grace.

OP, you lost your relevance the day you decided to abandon your believe, no matter how you try to come clean, people will not believe you, my advice for you is to keep to yourselves and not try to justify anything again, all this swearing will not make any difference, it is an after thought, some of us had already form our opinion on whom you are, it wont change that. Your case is just like the Ameachi's Deputy, he lost everything he has worked for in the last 8yrs. Today ,Ameachi has become a hero.

Hello all,
I just started following this thread again yesterday. Even though I have done my WES and IELTS since last year, I decided to wait for the EE instead of FSWP. I just created my EE profile yesterday and I started swimming in the pool few minutes afterwards. I have been encouraged by all the contributors to this thread and I also want to render the little help I can. I have a very good IELTS material (which I used myself). Its The Official Cambridge Guide to IELTS Student's Book with Answers. All the audios for the listening tests and 17 sample videos from live speaking tests are included. You can PM me if you need the materials and I will send you the download link (1GB approximately). Its now your duty to find a way of downloading it. Cheers and goodluck

pls send to labiola@yahoo.com. Am interested.

All of us( the youths) of this country, whether you support APC or PDP, our future is in our hands, if you think Buhari or GEJ will bring the needed change am sorry to disappoint you, we are all deceiving ourselves, until we all rise against these people, nothing good will come out of this country. I felt bad reading Obanikoro has been confirmed, more injury to my already wounded heart was reading an act that is condemnable being celebrated on nairaland.

You better let go off of whatever your parents has done for you, it could be painful atimes but in this case, you just have to let go. You don't need to wait till she begs you before you call her, you might wait forever for that call oh. That is the only commandment that didn't start with "thou shall"rather start with "Honour"

Whether FKK claim is true or false, i will still vote for Buhari. Like him or hate him Tinubu is a most valuable player (jimi Agbaje 2015). Prof. Osinbajo has showed the world what is capable of doing. Whether he becomes the VP or not, he is one of the Nigerians that is respected in the country. Same can not be said about FKK, Fayose, Orji, Anty Ngozi, etc. I rest my case.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Employment Rate: Obasanjo Vs Jonathan Regime by labiola: 1:03pm On Feb 23, 2015
I think you should also consider the number of businesses the Corporate Affairs Commission has registered over the past 4 years.

By "job" do you mean those who wear suit and resume office 7 am? or those engaging in profitable and legal ventures?

Take a trip to CAC office at Ikeja and you will be amazed at the rate at which Nigerians troop in to get their business registered.

I won't stop insulting Nigerians because our level of reasoning is sooo low.

How can a normal human being examine job creation in the context of Immigration and UBA job? Are you guys really du.m b or you just choose to be du. mb on special threads against GEJ?

@ what rate are you talking about? Has the rate of Business name registration translated to employment? if you are judging by the number of business name registered in Nigeria in a month, by now we shouldn't be talking about unemployment. Let me tell you, a lot of people you see registering business name is as a result of loss of employments, rather than staying at home they decided to registered a Business name in anticipation someone we ask for it in future. I registered my Business name last year, ask me whether have done any business with it, so many people are in the same category like me. Ask those people that work in PFA, they will tell you the increase in number of people that want to access 25% of their pension contribution as a result of loss of employment.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Employment Rate: Obasanjo Vs Jonathan Regime by labiola: 8:50am On Feb 17, 2015
With all sincerity, obasanjo's regime is rated high than GEJ in term of employment. Let start with the telecomunication industry alone, that industry is the highest employer of Labour both direct and indirect jobs. Let look at Pension industry, am telling you PFA and custodian are also employer of labour. Look at the reform in FIRS, a lot of people were employed without knowing anyone it was purely on merit.

Politics / Re: Mbu’s Order To Policemen To Kill Barbaric, Lawless – APC by labiola: 8:10pm On Feb 14, 2015
I keep asking myself what is happening to our sense of reasoning in this part of the world. We are so blind folded with our politicial afflictions and supports. Hence, we dont realise when someone is passing a geniue message across, everything is about APC and PDP. For those who are thinking with their anus rather than their brains, when the extra judicial killing starts now, it will not know whether you are APC or pdp, i trust our happy trigger police officers, they will interprete the message more than what Mbu intents . For the people that still love themselves, pls be much careful with police officers from now on pending when sanity will return to the land. For those supporting this evil act on the premise of politics goodluck to you. "orun ya bo ni ki n se oro Eni kan". If evil is coming to the land it will not come upon a person but on everyone. Pls pardon my translation. For me and my household our blood will not be shield for the cleansing of Nigeria.

Whether Tinubu anointed Ambode or not, it has showned that the selection process was through primary. Congratulations to APC. I wish then success next week in the presidential primary. Pay as you Earn (PAYE)
This is governed by the State Board of Internal Revenue. PAYE is a deduction from employee salaries at a graduated rate depending on the Income. It is so structured that the higher you earn, the more tax an individual pays. It is the responsibility of the Employer to deduct these taxes before paying the employee. All such deductions are to be remitted to the State Revenue Board monthly. The Income is subject to some allowances and reliefs before arriving at the assessable income to be taxed. The employee is issued with a Tax Clearance Certificate at the end of the year as evidence of having paid taxes.

The revised PAYE Rates as effective from February 2012 are as follows:
Total relief of:-
N200,000 + 20% Gross Income
Assessment Table
1st N300,000 7%
Next N300,000 11%
Next N500,000 15%
Next N500,000 19%
Next N1600,000 21%
Additional 24%

Politics / Re: The Sorry State Of Roads In Ejigbo Community Lagos State by labiola: 2:10pm On Aug 11, 2014
Guys, if you want LASG to do something in your area, this is the best time for you to ask, election is coming and they really need our votes, I suggest that we should have a pictorial view of all the bad roads in our community and post same on the social networks and send a copy to lagos state goverment's website, we can even send a copy to Fashola and tell him that if APC needs our votes next election, they should do the needful. For the so called chairmen, let all of us campaign against them in the next election. I believe that APC should not allow to win all the seat in house of assembly next year and also the chairman and councilors election should be shared among other political parties, with these things we improve in our communities.

Family / Re: Are You Sending Your Housemaids To School? by labiola: 9:20pm On Nov 03, 2013
This is a very interesting topic, let me share my experince with you. Sometimes last year we decided to engage an housemaid after so many pressure from my wife. She joined us in August 2012 and we enrolled her to private school and she was admitted to JSS 3, we paid close to N80,000 for her uniform, school fees and other expenses, that was the agreement we had with her mummy. So we continue to leave together as family, there is no disrimination, whatever my children eat is what she will eat. She shared the same room with my sister in law, practically all she does is domestic chore.
Initially, everything was going on fine untill my wife started complianing about her disobedience and her bad behaiviour, atimes I will "shakara" her that I will be beat her, though eventually I did beat her once after so many warning.
After, the first term, her result was released and she came first, I was so impressed and I asked my wife to get her some cloths which she did. I took this lady as my blood sister. She resumed the second term so we paid another 35k for her school fees and juniour waec exams, atfter the payment, her mother called me to request for money which I turned down because our agreement was to send her daughter to school. The problem started when she went for holiday with her mummy, then my kids were not around so we decided to allow her to spend sometimes with her mum. The day she suppose to return, we didn't see her and her mother called to apologise that she was going through some deliverance which after she will come. There after she returned and resumed school, she did her junior waec while we are expecting her result, the mum called me that she was tired of lagos that she is planning to relocate to her village hence she will be going with her daughter, my mum called her mother to come and they had discussion, base on their discussion, my mum told me that her mother needs money hence, I should withdraw the girl from private school and register her to public school so that I can be given her mum 5k every month, which to me it doesn't make sense to withdraw her from private school to public. I agreed to leave her to continue in private school while I will give her mum N5k every month. While we are still expecting her result , her mum called that she has changed her mind to come and pick her daughter, then both myself and wife was not around, I was furious and I just told my mum to allow her to take her daughter, that was how they left my house, uptill now I have no information about her whereabout. This is my experience with househelp. Atimes I don't blame people that maltreat them. By and large I will advise whoever that needs to engage house help should try and give then something in return such that in the nearest future they will remember you for good. If you can't send them to school let them go and learn something.
