Romance › Re: Almost Every Girl Is Cheap These Days. Why? by ladej(m): 11:07am On Feb 03, 2009
well i think he means cheap as in, you meet a girl, within 24 hours shes already asking you for credit, within a few days asking u for this or that. when you dont do it she refuses to meet up with you. more often than not it is girls who dont have jobs yet or the ones who are greedy that do this. there are quite a lot of women who dont do this but i must say the ratio favours the ASHEWOS.

besides isnt prostitution the world's oldest profession. even in the old testament we had prostitutes

Foreign Affairs › Obama Says Muslims Are Not America's Enemy by ladej(op): 2:00am On Jan 28, 2009
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy," Obama said in an interview with Al-Arabiya, the Dubai-based satellite television network. "We sometimes make mistakes. We have not been perfect."
During his run for the White House, Obama pledged to improve ties with the Muslim world, draw down U.S. troops in Iraq and close the detention camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The president also has pledged to address the Muslim world from a Muslim capital in the first 100 days of his administration. No location has been announced.
Obama said the United States will go after terrorist groups that kill innocent civilians but will do so while respecting the rule of law. The president said that difference makes America great.
The Obama administration also has taken an early interest in the Middle East peace process between the Israelis and the Palestinians, with the president naming former Sen. George Mitchell as his special envoy to the region. Mitchell is scheduled to arrive in the Mideast on Tuesday to shore up a fragile cease-fire between Israel and Gaza's Hamas leadership.

"Ultimately, we cannot tell either the Israelis or the Palestinians what's best for them. They're going to have to make some decisions," Obama said. "But I do believe that the moment is ripe for both sides to realize that the path that they are on is one that is not going to result in prosperity and security for their people. And that instead it's time to return to the negotiating table."
Obama said the United States will start by listening, not dictating, and then a response will be formulated after consultations with all the major parties involved.
Obama's interview was seen widely in Pakistan and has received a generally positive response from analysts there.

we all know and this has been authenticated that our president is not well and hasnet been for a while. this is not news to anyone on this forum. if he takes time off for his health then it is reasonable, afterall without health we are unable to function properly as humans. if indeed it is a proper holiday, then he is allowed to do so and take his holiday, since recent time off was due to medical emergency, not leisure. the honest truth is a president can take time off and he doesnt have to give a reason, he has full executive powers and he is deemed to use it as fit. we can discuss all we want but presidents get what they want when they want it. i mean no american president has ever recieved emails but Obama said he wasnt relinquishing his blackberry. the security cronies duly agreed, only to advise him it has to be super protected. he still got his wish.

Yes of course, everyone is different.
I would definitely kick my husband to the cosmetic surgeon the moment I see he's losing a bit of hair, develops frown lines, gets a pouch from drinking too much with the lads. Heck, I'd kick him to the cosmetic surgeon if he has renal failure. After all, of what use is he to me when his kidneys can't perform? I wont be able to enjoy him then. Abeg tattooboy, you are so right! I totally concur!

hehehehehe

one day oil will finish. if it doesnt a cheaper alternative will crop up. scientists have been spending numerous years in labs just for this purpose. dont say it cant be done, cos it can. we need to diversify, that is the only way we wont be left behind. I agree with Soludo on this point

i would say ronaldinho, WHY? cos his dribbling has had end product at the highest stage for club and country

Okocha realised late in his career that football is a team sport not individual. thats why i believe he didnt rise as high as george weah for example, not to talk of ronaldinho

Politics › Re: Hardship In US. Forces Nigerians Home by ladej(m): 10:29am On Dec 24, 2008
Also to add to this post it is not a bad thing for nigerians to relocate home, whatever the reason might be. the key word here is ADDING. are they adding to the economy in terms of skill, expertise, resources? if they are then its all good. for instance a lot of people migrate worldwide for better life , not just nigerians. there are a lot of british people in dubai, there are a lot of british people in australia, there are a lot of british people in the caribbean. all went in search of a better life

if they dont make it in those places for whatever reason they should not[and wont be] castigated for it. so why should some of our people do that. it is a fact that the people who have done a great job in nigeria recently have been those who have gained experience in an economy that works[ like okonjo-iweala]. as long as there is positivity from the returnees i embrace it

even the british have HSMP [ highly skilled migrant programme] which encourages highly skilled people worldwide to come into UK to work and help their economy

so why should some of us not embrace our people back?  we need to think and think deep

if Obama's father, a kenyan immigrant was not allowed into the US in the 60s to school, we wont be having the first african american today as president. there is nothing wrong in them returning home

thank you earth mama. the man who dies in terrorism acts whether it is india, USA, jos or south africa has still died. his family will still mourn regardless of the postcode
Politics › Re: Hardship In US. Forces Nigerians Home by ladej(m): 4:51pm On Dec 23, 2008
Don't knock dying in the West until you have tried it, EMama. The cause of death would more likely be over-exertion during sex, if I were to breathe my last in Europe or North America, as opposed to the much less desirable alternative of giving up the ghost from multiple gunshot wounds while fleeing RAMPAGING robbers on the streets of Lagos.

hmm death is death, ask the families of those caught up in terrorism acts in the western world. one can die anywhere. its God that keeps us. only God

@whatever 90

u are right about how a person carries himself/herself is crucial. the late great notorious BIG had self confidence and believed he was sexy, b4 u know it many people thought so as well. his swagger and confidence was sexy, even if his face wasnt. the way u feel inside is way more important than ur external look
