Good afternoon mamas. I've finally moved here o. Hmmm! Long journey . Please mamas I need a good Ivf center in Lagos where I can do ivf after saving for 4 yrs. I can't afford to do it where there isn't a success rate. I want to remove my tubes and do it. Been battling with hydrosalpinx for years. I've used everything usable, but still there. Kindly reply me mamas . God bless you all.
You might want to go to Abuja and do it at PrimeCare, they have very good success rate.

Helo madam, you can't really blame people for being cautious. So many scammers on the Internet, one cannot even tell who is real any more. I suggest you go work for a salon owner first and be paid salary, while working, you are acquiring more experience on the job till you can open your own space. I wish you the best.

Nope, your PPA won't be paying you because they know that FG is taking care of that one. There is a little or no chance of them retaining you because those posted in sch are mostly govt sch which they can't employ or retain you.
For someone that recently got a bank job, is it possible my friend can combine her job with this Npower as she just got selected for stream 2 also.

Sequel to my landing gist above,

ENCOURAGEMENT POST

This is just to encourage those of us still in the immigration process not to give up.. u can read up on my landing gist on this thread.

Sequel to my last update here, myself and my wife and kid landed in July 2021. Prior to our arrival my wife got a job offer around March 2021 with one of the big banks ( the whole interview process was conducted online from Nigeria). A major reason she got the job was because she told them she had her PPR but we could not land due to boarder closure at that time. The bank waited till the boarder was opened around June for fully vaccinated migrants.

She resumed work two weeks after we landed, it was a work from home role. I intensified my job search, applied to over a hundred companies and after several interviews with HR and Hiring Managers no job offer. I even started looking for customer service jobs, had an interview with one of the coys, my interviewer was a Ghanian, during the interview he encouraged me not to take the CS job saying that my qualifications and experience was above that role. He told me to be patient that I would get something good. So I signed up to the Acces employment job program ( a 1 week course on employment and interview skills for the Canada job market). Acces is a govt sponsored employment program to help immigrants transition into the Canadian job market.

A week after the end of the course, I applied for several roles in various coys and I eventually got a interview slot with an IT coy via Acces as an operations analyst with a pay of $20. During the interview process, the interviewers were impressed and of course with God's grace, they offered me a higher tole that was paying $38 per hour. I started this role on the first of October 2021 (3 months after I landed).

After I got the job offer, we immediately registered our child to the government day care centre ( I was practically baby sitting for those 3 months while my wife was working although she was working from home).

To cut the long story short, One month into my contract job I got 3 different permanent job offers ( 1 big four accounting firm, 2 big banks). I resigned my contract employment and resumed with one of the big banks. All these offers came within the month of October.

7 months down the line, we have purchased our own house and my wife has changed jobs after getting a much better offer.

Some lessons during the recruitment process:
1. Nothing like 2:1 required
2. Nothing like medical tests
3. Nothing like who do you know or who sent you.
4. Nothing like age limit.
5. Majority of the roles didn't even require a master's degree, your experience was enough.
6. You may not get your preferred role immediately you land but with time, u ll get your preferred role.

This is a country that stills gives my family an excess of $2,500 every month (free child day care worth $1,400, child benefits $692 per month, and other free benefits that just comes into your account HST etc).

The Crux of the matter is that:
1. Migration is not for everyone.
2. If u have chosen to migrate esp to Canada, please be patient with the process, don't give up, trust me the grass is greener on this side.
3. You can do the whole process yourself, u don't need to pay any agent. All the information u need is on this page.

Shalom!!!
Thanks for sharing, this is just what I needed. Which province please.

Sassy256:
Hi mama's, been a guest on this thread, for over 4 years, registered at the beginning but had to deactivate cos of monitoring spirits.

I want to share with you all my journey and my testimony, yes because GOD WILL DEFINITELY DO IT.

I joined this forum after trying for about 6 months in 2018.
My case;
Secondary subfertility (no clear diagnosis) from Teaching hospital.
No fibroids
No blocked tubes
No cysts
Ovulating regularly but on day 12 ( I used to always ovulate on day 14/15)
So I had a 26 day cycle instead of the 28 I used to have before ever giving birth.
I was referred for several investigations, and everything was coming out OK and sometimes boderline but I knew something was wrong with me.
Things I noticed:
My period always skipped day3, but continued on day4 & 5(stop and start).
Sometimes I will spot till day 9/10
I would always spot b4 ovulation
Infection test showed staphylococcus so I focused on treating that for a good part of 2018.
After a while of taking antibiotics every month hubby became frustrated and even his **** would not even come up during sex. His sperm count was over 60mil with good motility and morphology so I knew it was me.
We took so many herbs for infection, spent money, I used serappeptase, xi Xian cao, yi mu CAO, guife bao, just to clean up every where, I took more concoctions for infection throughout 2019 since staphylococcus was the only thing being seen in any of the results so far.
I changed gynae 3 times but all of them kept saying nothing is wrong madam just go and relax.
Lest I forget, I always had this slimy stuff in my period like ovulation discharge, some people suggested I may be ovulating during my period but I sincerely doubted it.
2019-2020 I went for native womb-setting and herbs, used Omodara fertility tonic, I used Kandicrush, ginger-garlic etc Combo, bitter melon (the one dey boil with pap-water), I used gorontula e.t.c plus various fertility drugs clo.mid, letro.zole etc prescribed by my gynae (all at different times o!) yet no solution.
2021 I decided I was done, hubby and I decided to focus on what we have and just rest.
We stopped timing sex
I stopped buying drugs
I stopped going to a gynae.
I just rested.
I decided to start eating healthy following one natural fertility page on facebook.
But the slimy discharge with my period still bothered me so I complained to my sweetner seller on IG and she gave me her detox drink.
After taking it I noticed the slimyness in my period reduced in my July/August menses but I didn't conceive, it however returned in september when the product finished and her products was a bit expensive for me so I stopped buying it.
Going through nairaland I came across a mama that testified of eating healthy and drinking clove water the month before she conceived so I started researching cloves.
I liked what I saw and since it's not expensive I started buying it. I took it crushed with green tea everyday, by the time I saw October menses all traces of that slimyness was gone and I noticed my period was clearer, cleaner, brighter something was just different. So I continued it more diligently, November same thing.
For health reasons and constipation, I added a probiotic supplement that contains vitd3 in November. I also remember taking vitaminC 800mg for 10days after my period in November because I took COVID 19 vaccine as we were in the process of relocating so ttc was not even my priority at the time.
December 17th I was expecting my period, No show! I waited 3 days and tested, TWO BOLD LINES!
The bfp I had been waiting for, for 4 years came when I wasn't even expecting.
Throughout December I was following NSPPD, but was more focused on God making a way for us in a new country, I also prayed earnestly about my journey to conceiving another child but it was not the top priority and yet God Did It.
Just writing this epistle to encourage someone that may be having similar concerns like I was, maybe what worked for me might work for you too.
Imagine spending over N300 thousand on supplements and drugs alone not to talk of gynae fees, trad massages etc and yet cloves of N400 naira cleared one of my most pressing concerns about my cycle. Maybe the probiotics with d3 helped, maybe the 800mg vit C helped too but I just know that GOD DID IT FOR ME, and He will do it for you too.
Spreading babydust to all mama's here***
God bless.
Congratulations mama, please what is the name of the prebiotic you used

Good day mummies in the house, and a happy new year to you all. Pls I need advice, I was diagnosed of left hydrsalphinx, I was on clomid for about 6months, about a year ago, now our doctor advised us to go for iui, pls what is the success rate for iui with one blocked tube? Is it advised I do another hsg? Its close to 3yrs I did the last one, I have taken several herbs all these while, and lastly if I decide to go for iui, what and how will I prepare my body. Pls mummies your response is highly needed.
Please was the hydrosalpinx diagnosed through scan? If so do another hsg to be sure. I was misdiagnosed of hydrosalpinx through scan, i had to seek second opinion by redoing hsg and both tubes are open with no hydrosalpinx.

Guessed so because I know a couple of families like that. Me I don't have the same name with my husband and kids because I never did change of name. I submitted my PR application like that. There's a part of the application where you'll be asked if you and your husband are the biological parents to the kids listed and your response there, plus their birth certificates should be enough
Thanks for your responses, I will let my friend know.

Absolutely no problem. My children's surname is different from mine because I choose to use my first name as my children's surname instead of my great-grandfather's name which the family has been using before I was born. And I have no issues whatsoever except to sometimes explain to some busy body nosey Nigerian officials who seem befuddled by it all.
Perfect, thanks for this, i guess they will have to carry their birth certificate when they wish to travel.

To add to the response you already got
If the kids are you and your husband's biological kids, Are you and your husband's names written on their birth certificates the same way its written on your passports? If yes, you could just include a letter of explanation explaining how you all came to bear different names.
Yes the kids are biologically theirs, they just don't answer their forefathers name but an abbreviated version. Thanks for your response.

Hi Mama, from your hormonal test result, I think your prolactin is high, do you have breast milk discharge? And your Lh should be in proportion to the Fsh, so I can say is a little bit low but not bad, your progesterone is okay , this might be a case of hormonal imbalance, let’s wait for other sabi mamas with better interpretation
The prolactin is within range actually
