Someone ‘needs’ undecided Red velvet cake and wants it from a particular place in Lagos.
If you or someone you know has transported this successfully, kindly advise. Thank you so much. Na wa o, eeehnn, make the person sponsor the cake maker to come America to bake the cake for am na shio! I doubt if the cake will survive it's originally state by the time it's landing USA,. Who carries such a delicate item for that long hours? |

usmanm77: Morning everyone, My B1/B2 expired in March this year and haven't really been thinking about renewing it until now.
I recently applied for UK Study visa and I met someone at the visa center who recommended that I renew my US Visa as well. I will be departing for UK this coming January.
Now the situation is that I don't have any reason to travel to the US for anything at this point in time, so Im writing here to ask if it's a good idea to renew it even though I might not end up traveling to the US?
PS: I used the expired US visa once in 2015. Stayed there for just a week. You can renew it now if you want, but if you don't have any reason to travel soon particularly while you are in the UK, no need to renew it, but note that by the time you decides to renew it, you will not be qualified for Dropbox from the UK except you are applying from nig All the best in your study. |

Lamide123: I stated my intention during the interview that I am planning to visit my kids (kids - 12 and 14 years old). My kids are staying with there father in US (We divorced 10 years ago).
I visited canada last year while I was in US, stayed for 1 week. Canada visa expires in 2020 You don't have any problems since its family visit which was clearly stated during your interview, they already know you visit your families, moreso your kids for that matter; as a mother common sense will tell that you would want to spend ample with them, even animals will not let go of their offsprings. I don't even see your travelling to another country of any relevance here anyways. Just submit your Dropbox well ahead of expiration for Dropbox validity. All the best |

Efielu: Good evening All,
I have been a silent reader of this thread. I have just registered an account so I can be fully part of the house.
Please, I need your advice my people ooooooo.
I am a single lady, works and earn good salary (350k) monthly.
I am in the process of completing my Ds160 form online. In the space where they asked who is "paying for your trip" , I want to put SELF, but my Uncle whom I intend visiting is insisting I should fill in his name and details there.
It all seems to me that the VO will be thinking that I can not sponsor myself despite my good income.
Please, has anyone who genuinely earn same or above salary with me allowed his or her relative to pay for his or her trip?
Please, experienced gurus in the house should please help a sister out ooo... I no want make any mistakes jare! I will advise you put yourself as the sponsor becos you are an adult and have a good job. Oyinbos don't believe nig have vacation culture talkless of being sponsored just to go on holiday not by your spouse but an uncle for that matter! They see us as potential immigrants. You can put yourself as the sponsor, this should not stop your uncle from sponsoring the trip when you eventually get the visa. All the best |

Her 2 years visa expired two months ago(she travelled to the US once and stayed for a month), so she applied for dropbox.... The previous visa was issued in Abuja, so the Dropbox application was sent to Abuja embassy as well. I want to know if I can schedule the appointment at Lagos embassy and if she's gonna have a fresh visa interview or its just Finger Print she'll be required to do. My mum's in her late 60s I'm gonna have to go with her, but going to Abuja is not feasible for me. Thanks You can schedule lagos |

Endlessgrace: I know you are pushing fixed deposit cos thats what counts for you as a banker and treasury bill doesn’t because it belongs to cbn but to be unbiased treasury bills is the better option anyday. Aside the fact that its interest rate is always higher, your interest Exempt from tax unlike fixed deposit. There are also non tax deductible FDs and that is what I asked that he go for, if you also read my text you will also see that i stated that it depends on the financial instrument that suits your investment objective. You can not be looking at short term revolving investment opportunity and you go for Tbills; what economic sense is that? am not saying that TBills is not a good option, please read all my writeups carefully and have a clear understanding Tibills is good no doubt but is a long term investment option and also has its features. Besides, give me the current Tbills interest rate and I can confidently tell you that some bank match it in FD rate if not even higher because i study the marker and I can confidently tell you that what he is getting as interest currently on his FD is way higher than what is obtainable on TB; non tax deductible and upfront interest payment. So why spend so much time to get returns? Abeg lets end this matter, this has been clearly discussed and matter closed, the choice is to whomever is interested. Choose what works for you.
