The president has only less than 48 hours to the 60 day deadline for the release of the ministerial list means that the president must release the list between today and Friday. It was said according to daily report that the president just replaced four people in the list who will need security checks before the final release. My question is that;. Is there any penalty if the president fail to meet up with the deadline? Why I ask this question is that alot laws are in the Nigeria constitution in which the constitution will only state the crime without the penalty and I start to wonder what those people that create the law were thinking when they were creating it because I don't think a law can work without penalty. |

Minister of In formation and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has appealed to aggrieved to membership membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State to reconsider their decision to dump the party in the state. The minister, who is also from Kwara, made this known in a statement on Tuesday. He urged the defectors to return to their “natural habitat” for their grievances to be addressed ahead of the 2023 selections Mohammed said, “My attention has been drawn to media report, alleged defection of some of my supporters in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara to the Social Democratic Party (SDP). “I wish to state categorically that despite the fact that the supporters are genuinely aggrieved at the way and manner they have been treated by the Kwara State Governor and his supporters, against the backdrop of their immeasurable contributions to the massive victory of our party in the state in 2019, leaving the party is not the solution “We have taken the grievances of our supporters to the highest level of our party, and we have cause to believe that everything will be done to address the grievances and unite the party ahead of the 2023 elections. “I am therefore appealing to those who may have left to reconsider their stand and return to their natural habitat. On my part, as a founding member of the APC, as someone who has toiled endlessly to build the party and as one who has worked with stakeholders to deliver Kwara State to the APC, leaving the party is not an option. I am a bonafide member of the APC and I have no intention of leaving the party. “All through my political career, I have always remained loyal to any party in which I have found myself. That is not about to change now. “I want to use this opportunity to once again call on the leadership of our party to urgently and decisively address the issues that have forced some members of our party in Kwara to contemplate leaving the party. https://nigeriarealnews.com.ng/go-back-to-apc-i-am-not-leaving-lai-mohammed-tells-supporters-n1723/ |
These politians think everyone is stupid like them. Only the state house can be contested by youth of 25-30yrs of age and the form is sold for millions of Naira. Even if u give 90% discount how many of that age has a saving of upto a million in account and u r complaining of rise of riytual killings. Until u reduce the cost election to the minimum in the country that is when i wil believe that you are ready to change this country positively. |
The immediate past Senate President, Abubakar Saraki, has said he will officially declare his intention to run for president in 2023 after the Peoples Democratic Party decides which geopolitical zone will get its presidential ticket. Saraki spoke on Sunday Politics, a Channels TV programme. During the programme, the former Kwara governor claimed to have what it takes to lead Nigeria. Saraki also said he had toured the country with his team to consult stakeholders on his presidential ambition. He said, “Like anybody, there are rules; there are guidelines. “We will have a NEC (PDP) meeting on Tuesday. Hopefully, the guidelines will come out which will tell us definitely where the whistle would be blown. “Short of anything that stops an individual, I will definitely be announcing sometime before the end of the month, my intention to vie for president. At the moment, we are just doing consultation. Formal declaration will come in due course. “I believe I have what it takes to lead Nigeria. I am not someone who shies away from taking up challenges. I am not someone who does not know the issues or someone who does not have the energy and vibrancy to address those issues. “More importantly, I am someone that can reach out across the political divide, based on my antecedents. I am someone who can reach out across the ethnicity divide and across the religious divide.” Saraki asked Nigerians to be concerned about electing someone who can tackle the country’s challenges instead of zoning. He said, “When you talk about zoning, yes, you must consider zoning. But when we talk about zoning, it can’t just be an issue of north/south because you cannot tell me that the south-west will say they are disenfranchised in the possibility of political office; neither can you say the South-South. “But the reality is that the north-east, north-central and south-east have not had presidency or vice-presidency. But what I’m saying is today, where the country is, with the challenges before the country, we must bring in other issues. “We did it when we wanted to look for the national chairman of our party. We went seeking for who we felt was the best that would help the party. “There are people who can provide solutions to the problems of the country if you give them the opportunity.” https://punchng.com/2023-why-i-havent-declared-presidential-ambition-officially-saraki/

Thats the problem of war, no party is a winner. All you just see is death of people from both sides |
Ukraine wanted to join NATO, and if it joins, NATO will put her military equipments in Ukraine, that's d cause of the problem, Russia warned Ukraine not to join because Russia shares border with Ukraine, If NATO forces use Ukraine as a base, that means NATO forces would be at Russians backyard with all their weapons pointing at Russia and that is what PUTIN is fighting against. In d 60s, Russia (defunct USSR) wanted to have her military base in Cuba which is at America's backyard, US kicked against it and invaded Cuba, that's what led to the Bay of pigs invasion, and now d same US wants to have her military base at Russia's backyard under the pretext of NATO. The best form of defense is attack, which world power would allow the enemy have her military base at her backyard? Who does that?? Also US that destroyed other independent countries like Libya and co have no moral justification on this case. How will it end? In addendum, NATO is created for countries bordering the North Atlantic, funny enough Ukraine is not one of those countries which makes it suspicious why NATO would want to have her military base in Ukraine if not for ulterior motives. When the US made business difficult for some countries around Asia, the Japanese lashed back by clearing pearl harbor and the US in their show of force nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Now we have the Cryptocurrency/Tesla versus the Oil business war in play. This may be the gate opener for the next war around the world and shall be supported by different country according to how they may profit. |
